erico2k2: ahahahah come dont run, I also found this about you so you went to germany for this
Don't conclude base on "Somones experience". I came to Germany on a language study visa and I converted it here to a student visa. The Fact is, if you are coming to Germany on a Language Visa, you should have atleast B1, it is as simple as that, Most universities have preparatory classes for DSH but you require at least B1 to get into this class. @ the Bolded U dey YAB people here upandown

I only tried to correct your wrong misconceptions and the best you can come up with is going through my previous post to get dirts on me...... I laugh at your intelligence. erico2k2: OK, Im sure people with BSc COmp Science are in the House, let us wait for them to tell us how thier BSc will fit into these software prost listed (My Room mate back in the days at ESUTH was studying computer Science)I see his hand outs and text unless Im missing smthing On your 2nd question someone stated there are more post in the skills shortfalls than in teh Medical side of it but from that list you can tell thats false. PS Aphrodite007 has MSC in this field, Im sure She can tell us more, She did not even use this as a means to try and come to the UK, she is applying via her hubby as we speak! Dude, I studied Computer Science and I am trying to educate you that Computer Science graduates can choose whatever niche they want after graduation. Software Development, Testing, Web DEv. System Engineering etc. There is no University that will give a a degree in Web dev. or System Engineering......... |

Umennajiego: thanks alot for the review, but as my inquiries tell some schools in German teach this course in English...and when it comes to history there are different histories to concentrate on, History or contemporary polities and diplomacy European history History of the America North & south Military or religions history AFrica It all depends on what the individual wants to do after the M.A. Germany is good but not everyone plans to stay. For me, the course I intend on studying is really broad and concerns modern concept that are marketable.
M.A...Road to Democracies- Historical and contemporary perspective on politics and culture. Okay, seems you have everything sorted out...GOODLUCK! |

LG |

Umennajiego: lol some of us actually choose this course and fell in love with it. I have a passion for academics and I'd love to teach someday... there are Modern options for masters in history. To study History in Germany, you actually need German language and i doubt if your school of choice offers history in Nigeria and Africa. Unless you want to learn German and European history and come back to Nigeria to teach; which is logically unprofitable. So ask yourself and reflect on your decision before embarking on the journey. If you want to come over, study and return, good. But if you plan to stay after your studies, bro History will do you no good. |

Lalaski2017: They are not being honest with their admission process then. Now, I just wonder what it takes to meet their requirement.
Even to reply your mail is a major issue for them. after my initial rejection, they asked me to send another application which I did, and up till now they have not said anything about the new application or replied my mail.
...It is well.
Got any school left for summer semester?? FAU is a very good school but getting a place is always a tough nut to crack. Why don't you try Uni-Bayreuth, they are more relaxed and international unlike FAU. They have a very good and modern Science Faculty, the biggest I have seen so far in Bayern(don't know of TUM though). Besides the foreigners Office in that city is not so friendly, |

i am a complete novice to the language.. Just forget about studying with German, if you are going for Msc. don't try it. And getting the DSH certificate takes a minimum of 6 months in Germany, assuming you already have a B1 or B2 from Nigeria. |

ninered: Based on popular demand....
ESSENTIALS for traveling this Winter Session. N/B: 1 suitcase & a backpack (for guys who like traveling light) 2 suitcase (medium size). Standard to fit in all your life for a long stay. 3 suitcase? Too much Airlines are not smiling when it comes to excess baggage fee & exceeding about 20kg per luggage
1. BASICS Have this in your backpack or carry-on.... Passport, Original documents, Cash(euro), Laptop/smartphone and a warm jacket. Hold on to these items everywhere you go & all times as if your life depends on it, Why? Because it does!!!
2. What goes in the suitcase CLOTHES; winter jackets, hoodies, sweaters, gloves, headwarmer, socks, tops, jeans (invest in good ones), Ankara wear (to show them you be 9ja), other accessories etc. Carry enough clothes coz they're expensive for new comers unless you want turn your brain into abokifx exchange rate. For ladies don't forget wigs (esp braided wigs, weavons, relaxers, etc, you'll thank me later on the 1st time you ever visit a saloon in Germany.
FOOD: Gari, dryfish, crayfish, egusi, ogbono, dry leafs and uncommon local ingredients your village people dey chop. (palm oil is prohibited) Accessories: buy a universal plug or charger with 2 pin for your laptops/phone that's the standard for Germany. And if you're a movie/music freak like me then you better download all your favorites into a flash coz downloading from what I hear is illegal in Germany but streaming is allowed though.
If your family/friends ask you to bring lots of food & other stuffs for them, don't be shy to ask for cash for the extra baggage but if you know you'll be squatting in their house you better comply oo so you don't turn homeless on your first night in Germany.
Pls feel free to add other useful tips and comments #mydreamcometrue You forgot to add Pepper, bring pepper along ohh, it is very important.(dried pepper) |
