daroz: Don't mind those f00ls spreading falsehood. That was how in Nigeria then people use to say Germany don't have fresh water(that it was all polluted during the war), so they only drink potable water imported from other country. Hence water is more expensive than wine. Whereas tap water in Germany is even fresher or purer than our so called clean bottled water in Nigeria. 80 percent of Germans in Bayern drink directly from their tap. Bro you too should stop spreading falsehood. The water is fit for drinking and not fresh. Do you actually know what fresh/pure water is? |

ugosonics: Many people have been asking this question for long,... What's the best way to burn belly fat so quickly? If you have also used any method, please let us know and how long it lasted ... Burning belly fat requires dedication, discipline, and perseverance from you. I use to have belly fat, but now it is almost gone. The following are what I did, in other to achieve my current state. 1. Don't skip breakfast: - This is very important, your body needs energy for it to function properly. If you can't eat a proper meal, two slices of bread and a cup of tea will do. Just don't skip it. 2. Don't eat any heavy meal after 6.30pm:- I read about this somewhere, and it works like magic. Even if you want to take dinner, it should be light, either you drink a cup of tea, vegetables or fruits. No Eba, Amala or pounded Yam. 3. Exercise:- My points will be incomplete without this. I won't tell you the kind of exercise you should do, but my advice is, do something that will be fun, belly sits up, push ups, weight training, brisk walking or jogging. The primary goal here is to make it enjoyable. I see you getting the results you dream of after a while. If you want a six pack, then I would advise you to include weight training. Just a piece of my plan, 200 push ups daily ( you can split it during the day) 100 sit ups daily ( same as above) and 50 Burpees daily. (same as above). After six months you will be happy with your new self. |

I want to ask (You need a comma here) please (Or here also) since when you have been following me on nairaland. And how do you know eighty percent of young germans ( Nouns are written in capitals; I hope you know what a noun is) speak english fluently hmmmm. Hahaha let me start by correcting this post. But to be honest, if you really want to study in Germany, improve your English. Don't say I didn't tell you. |

I have been reading all your replies; I'm sorry to say, your English is appalling. You don't need a Ph. phemmisky: Thank you for your response bro. I humbly agree with you on the poor usage of punctuation in my earlier post. The spelling mistakes are well noted too. But, brother , what's wrong with "remonstrations " "come to our solace" and "limit" As i said earlier , I'm ready to learn bro .
And I'm sorry for flooding the forum with this @all Dude are you really serious about what is wrong with the bolded ? Read your write up again, you should have used the verb form and not noun. That is why i earlier said, make things simple. |

phemmisky: Guys , great job so far on your efforts in different ways in making sure we are reconsidered by the German Embassy . @niccki and all others who have taken their time to assist the affected in one way or another. Bravo!!!
I'm of the view that we should extent or peaceful remonstrations to our Concerend ministries in Nigeria as well to come to our solace and not just limit ourselves to the German foreign offices alone . Internal and external affairs . We know the decadence in these parastatals , but let's just try . Thank you. phemmisky: Thank you @jbonito, pls kindly point those mistakes out as i am very much ready to learn. Save for where i inserted "or " instead of "our" and "extent" in place of "extend"pls i await your corrections sir . Let me do you the favour. Read what you wrote again.Your use of punctuation is poor, tenses should also be looked into. Try as much as possible to use simple words, use of big vocabularies is good but you have to be careful when using them. cheers. |

haybellfire: Just sent mine surely a solution will come IJN, Insha allah This how i msg them Good day sir/ma Please i want to bring to your notice the situation we are facing presently at the German conculateconsulate in my country we have been informed that we cant can not apply for student visa for this semester anymore because all appointment dates are booked out stating we should apply for the next summer by(nouns should be in capitals) november or december the sitution has been so devastating and has weigh a lot of applicants including myself because the school i gained admission to KV hochshule rhein waal ( Bachelor degree) only runs winter semester for my program which invarably (auto correct invariably)means that i will have to wait for another whole year before i can apply for a student visa again apart from the money spent alone while pursing the visa processing the stress passed through is not friendly please i will like to suggest if you can please provide more V.Os in the german embasseys it will be appreciated we also have another german embassey in abuja that is not in use in terms of student visa if applicants can be moved there to have their interviews that will also be appreciated. > Thanks very much as i hope this situation will end with a positive outcome
Let us all hope for the best You sent this to the embassy? or you are joking. Tell me it is a joke. Reading letters like this, raises serious doubt about your study intention. I pity the next group of people going for their interview. Tired of editing, too many grammatical blunders. Abeg tus.h up your English before coming ohh, make you no come fall our hand here. dailydolar: please i take exception to insolence what i posted is what the school i applied gave me and if u doubt i will give u link so i just copied and pasted why call me names and say i give fake info mind u my main concern is on converting your CGPA IN NAIJA plwase learn how to talk to people in public ok have a wonderfull day @bolded says a lot about you. Do you know me, tell me where I called you names ? Asking if you are an Admission officer is now name calling or stating that what you posted doesn't apply everywhere is now name calling..(this is new). Because your school sent you such Info, doesn't mean it applies to all Universities in Germany, Go back and read what you wrote. A grade of below 2.7 or 2.9 is where you have issues getting admission, although there is always an exception to this. but saying a grade worse than 2.4 is a fallacy. I would advice you to stop generalisation. That was what I corrected, if you don't like it, it's your palaver!!!! Nairaland is a faceless forum, if you feel insulted then leave. Simple as that. |
Travel › Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by willy2000(m): 8:59am On Jul 05, 2017 |
dailydolar: In case you need help to convert your CGPA in nigeria to german grade read this
The decision if you will get admission will by made on the basis your specialization, your grades and your motivation letter.
We are looking for students with a good physics background (note, that the properties of functional materials are based on the laws of physics). Hence, we clearly prefer physicists, chemists and electrical engineers. Mechanical engineers and students holding an engineering degree in another field may also get admission. Some weight is put on your grades. The grade system differs from country to country. Often grades are given as „A“, „B“, „C“ and so on. Yet, these grades are also translated in a number. On the basis of these numbers or points your grades are transferred into the German grade system. In the German grade system 1.0 is „very good“, 2.0 is „good“, 3.0 is „fair“ and so on. The worst grade which means „fail“ is 6.0.
Here is how the translation works: What you need is three numbers. i) the highest possible score (HPS); e.g. a „AA“ could correspond to 10.0 points. (note, that this is just an example, at your university an „AA“ or „A+“ could correspond to 4.0 points or any other value). ii) the lowest possible score (LPS) which you can achieve without failing. This could be „DD“ corresponding to 4.0 points. iii) your average score (AS). Let it be 8.31 in our example.
Then the German grade () is calculated using the following formula. formula 1+3.HPS-CGPA÷HPS -LPS
In our example is 1.84. If your German grade is between 1.0 and 1.6 your chances of getting admission are good. If your grades are between 1.7 and 2.2 your chances are below 50%. With grades between 2.3 and 2.4 admission is still possible in exceptional cases but your chances are poor. If your grade is worse than 2.4 you will not get the admission. Stop dishing out false Info. Who told you with a German grade of 2.4 you can't be admitted!!! (if it's Bachelors i have no idea, but for a master degree program)This is sooooooooo FALSE!!!!!!!! You be admission Officer ?? |

How? Which University is that ? Oh SMC, I just went through the site.... hmm I doubt if your first year result will be accepted in a German-University(my opinion). my reason are, most first year courses are most likely advance level subjects which is kind of comparable to the German Abitur. But your SMC don't offer such courses. Secondly, you be required to submit your ssce result (my opinion). Wish you all the best. |
