guy222:My Guy, ebi like say me and you dey see am the same way. I still never see the crime Kyari committed against America wey reach to extradite am go America without visa. |
Walahi, me I no understand law o. Watin concern Abba Kyari with America? Him commit crime for America, or him dupe American? From Watin I read from FBI, dem say him take bribe to from Hushpuppi to lock one Chibuzor because the guy wan spoil job for Hush. Dat one na news for Nigeria? Which Police officer no dey collect bribe from criminals in Nigeria? Even the IG self get those wey him dey collect bribe from. Abeg make FBI free Kyari jor. How much you think say go enter Kyari pocket from the money sef. You think say na only him go chop Hush money? From the monI him go settle him boys and him go settle him superiors also. That the way things work in naija. |
Whitecoal711:Now tell me is it joblessness and hunger that made most Nigerian politicians and civil servants corrupt? Is it joblessness and hunger that made most nigerian workers and businessmen to cheat others? Nigerians are naturally greedy and dishonest due to the get rich quickly culture being promoted by all facets of the society including our churches (and mosques), out traditional institutions and civil society as a whole. Most companies are now getting the memo and are now hiring Indians, Chinese and Pakistanis to run their companies instead of Nigerians. If you like give a Nigerian N1 million a month as salary, he will still steal you blind and run your company down. Corruption has little to do with poverty. In fact the poorest people in Nigeria are the most honest. I have heard many very poor people who found lost money and return it to their rightful owners. |
DOTian:No one is saying that every students hostel anywhere in the world has no rules. What I am saying is that such rules do not infringe the free movement of adults citizens just because they chose to be students,( by prohibiting them from leaving their hostels or campus grounds or prohibiting them from receiving visitors on campus grounds.), except in theocratic dictatorship regimes. |
DOTian:Undergraduates are legal adults. You cannot restrict the movement of students in and out of campus. You cannot restricts adults from receiving guests in their hostels within campus or living quarters outside campus. There is freedom of movement, association and religion in the Nigerian constitution. Unless you want to convert Nigeria into a theocratic dictatorship, you cannot ban the movement or regulate the moral behaviour of citizens. |
Monogamy:The many flops are only in your head. The FBI is not like the Nigerian Police that arrests suspects first and then go fishing for evidence. The FBI has gone to court and presented it's evidence and the US courts have issued an arrest warrant for Kyari having been convinced that he has some questions to answer. To start with, if Hush puppy is accused of being a fraudster, that means he must have been lying to the people he has been collecting money from fraudulently.. Can't Hush lied in the statement he made to FBI?Proper Police like the FBI don't just relying only on "confessions " like their Nigeria counterparts, the rely on evidence from thorough investigation. They have obtained phone records from Hushpuppi's phone, text and voice records from WhatsApp's server and other incriminating evidence before issuing a warrant of arrest. Secondly, Which street guy/guy man would keep the records of such deal involving a policeman on his phone?Whether the street guy keeps the records on his phone or not is irrelevant. The records are kept in with the phone company and on WhatsApp's server. If the case that Kyari is being indicted involved $1.1m deal which Kyari was claimed to have received N8m equivalent to $20k, would Kyari have had prior knowledge about the money involved, and still collect $20k to be his share if he and Hush are working together, infact the amount was sent like 4 times to different account. Is Hush being accused of only $1.1m deal or there are still more deals that involved others, cos the one Kyari was involved according to the statement which made him to detain/arrest hush old friend is $500k, that's one transaction..I think Kyari should hire you as his lawyer. You will be able to prove his innocent in court. I think you should advice Kyari to answer FBI and the US courts on why he detained a Hushpuppi's Co conspirator for a full month until the Qatari had been swindled of $1.1 million. Remember, the co-conspirator is still alive and will face Kyari in court. |
Whitecoal711:False. MOST PEOPLE do not indulge in crime because of hunger, but because of GREED. Are you telling me Hushpuppi engaged in crime because of hunger? Could he eat his expensive watches, cars and designer clothes he displays on instagram? Are you insinuating our politicians engage in stealing because of crime? Tinubu must be starving then. |
DOTian:Which government are you blaming for cultism in schools - Federal, state or Local government? What of parents, family and community? Should they also not take a portion of the blame for cultist in schools and society as a whole? What do you want government to do to provide adequate conducive environment for learning within the campuses? Government appointed registrars, vice councillors and other academic and non academic staff for the universities? What do you want government to do to eliminate grades for sex or money? Was it government that elevated prostitution in foreign countries to prestigious levels in Edo? So much so that parents borrow money and take loans to send their daughters to Italy? Agreed that Buhari is bad, I would even say terrible. But did most of the problems the OP stated start with Buhari? Was it under Buhari that Nigerians started distracting all of us overseas? |
Lukaku95:Quit this justification of crimes with whataboutism. The issue should whether his assertions are true or not, and how to resolve the issue. That 90% Yorubas in UK and America are scammers (according to your statistics) is not a justification of Igbos commiting crimes in UAE and all over Asia. |
Whitecoal711:Its bad economic policies that makes young Nigeria's commit crimes like armed robbery, 419, drug crimes and prostitution in Dubai? Please explain. |
NOETHNICITY:I no understand o. Na poverty of bad governance de make Nigerians misbehave for abroad? I really don't understand. |
Pentagon007:Is Nigeria the poorest country in the world? When did deep abject poverty start Nigeria? Was it in the 60s when we just gained independence? Was it in the 70s when General Gowan declared that Nigeria's problem was not money but how to spend it? Or was it in the 90s when $16 billion Gulf war oil windfall was no where to be found. Poverty was never the root cause of Nigeria's problems and certainly not the root cause of our moral decay and decadence. |
Balistic4:A case of "which came first, the egg or the chicken?" Who responsible for Nigerians corruption - the citizens or the government? I remember when academics were real deal in this country, people's mindset were mostly go to school, get good grades and get a job.20th century mindset. In the 21st century, new economic system is to enable you create value and wealth and hence create jobs, and not to get grades to get a job. How do you motivate a youth in the university to work hard and graduate with good grades when first class graduates are roaming about in the country with almost nothing to show for the burnt midnight candles?A first class graduate roaming the country looking for job, means the knowledge and skills he acquired at the University is useless. There are millions of needs that is still left to be met and very few people to meet those needs. The first class graduate shouod study the lives of Alfred Nobel and Elon Musk. All these crimes heightened due to bad governance, the people are to be blamed too but the government started it and they're fanning it.Who are the government? Are they Martians or Siberians? Was it government that makes officials of your town union or development Association or even your street landlord association corrupt? |
These are the best advice do far. socialmediaman: seborrhic:Avoid the police as police will just extort both you and baby mama. And I don't think Police can force her to her to submit the baby to a paternity test. Get a lawyer and sue her the nearest magistrate court for a paternity test. Depending on the lawyer, the whole case might cost you between N50,000 to N100,000. If the test should prove negative, you can then sue for paternity fraud and a refund of your money spent including your legal fees. |
Image123:So it is possible to kill Your God. Many other God's are said to be eternal - they were not created and cannot be killed. Not that I believe them though, but their own God makes more sense than yours that was killed by mere mortals. |
Image123:Absolutely. I can conclude I don't know it's existence. |
Image123:We both reason in diametrically opposite directions. You reason with absolute certainty of the religious mind that uses the God of the gaps to explain everything. I reason scientifically and logically, with the understanding that nothing is absolutely and everything is relative. Forever itself is a relative term, it depends on the time frames you are comparing. |
Image123:All things are not possible (like nothing physical can travel faster than the speed of light), else the universe would be in a permanent state of chaos. It is part of why Jesus Christ was hated and killed. His declaration and person was senselessly blasphemous to the learned. That itself is blasphemous, you cannot kill a God that created life and existence. It's sounds ridiculous. |
Image123:Without using your indoctrinated mind instead of your reasoning mind, such statement is senseless. The four personalities (man/God/Son of God/Son of man) are mutually exclusive. |
Image123:I did not read mischievously. It our difference in the understanding of the word neighbouring. To me neighbouring planets are planets in our solar system, just as neighbours are people on or street or immediate vicinity. A person living in a different country cannot be said to be my neighbour. A planet 50 light years away in my definition cannot be said to be a neighbouring planet. Having said that, it is highly probable that life exists in some planets in other star systems in the galaxy. |
Image123:Ok. Who is Jesus? Is he a man/God/son of god\son of man? To me Jesus is not different from any superhero created to impress converts. Just like Hercules or Samson, Achilles, Odysseus, Thor, Songo, etc. He might have been a real person, but his followers put extraordinary embellishments in order to make him superhuman. |
Image123:You said neighbouring planets . Are planets outside the solar system neighbouring planets? No. It is you that have searched the entire solar system and found life. Researchers have not found life. |
Image123:What makes you think that you are not the one being deceived? |
Image123:Researchers don't rely on God of the Gaps to explain the unknown. They rely on real data from their researches. Life has not be found on any neighbouring planet. The possibility of any other planet in our solar system harbouring life is extremely remote, as all other planets are outside the habitable zone ( the zone where water can exist in all 3 states). Forever is a meaningless term. Nothing can exist forever. The whole universe itself will collapse someday. |
dontrulee:The concept of eternal life is senseless to me. Why would someone want to live forever. Nothing lives for ever, not even the Universe. Why not live your best life you can now and then instead of living for a life that is yet to come? When I say best life, I don't mean coveting sensory pleasures, but creating happiness to those around you. |
dontrulee:Gbam. To the discerning, you have achieved enlightenment or Buddhahood. God is a personal experience. Different people have their own personal experience of God and some don't experience it at all. It does not make one person's experience more valid than another. The greatest tragedy to me is trying to convince others to accept your own experience of God as the only valid experience, while everyone else experience is invalid. |

LikeAking:False. Nigeria imports all the wheat and wheat products used in making bread, pasta, and pastry. These foods alone constitute more than 5% of Nigeria's diet. Even with the ban on rice, we still import over 30% of rice we consume in Nigeria through smuggling. We also import a large quantity of beans from neighbouring west African countries. We import tomato paste mainly from China. We import all the milk we consume. Other food we import in large quantity is frozen fish, chicken, turkey, Apple, fruit juice, etc. 95% is a huge overexaggeration The worst of all the is fuels. We import 100% of the fuels that drive our cars, trucks and machines. Fuels alone constitute a huge percentage of our export bill and thus the value of the naira. |
inoki247:Are you alright? How can you compare Nigeria to Saudi Arabia? Saudi Arabia exports over 7 million barrels of crude oil everyday for a population of about 35million (including 13 million expatriate workers), while Nigeria barely exports 1 million barrels of crude per day for a population of over 200 million. And I have not added revenue from tourism (pilgrimage) and various investments around the world. |
Image123:I am not the one that made that claim, it is left for the person that said so to respond. I don't think I am better than the religious. I have never condemned and vilify any belief system or religion as long as it conforms to the law. Besides, my wife, my mother and numerous friends are religious and I never told them I am better than them. |
