Image123:Even though I still don't get the point in relation to this story, I can tell you that any parent that leaves an 11 year old girl and a 7 year old boy home alone in a civilized siciety will have a lot of explaining to do to social services. The parents might lose the children on charges of negligence. |
Lollittaa:You know see why I left Christianity and religion all together. I saw that religion kills conscience and distorts the difference between right and wrong, replacing it with doctrine. |
Image123:You are a real pervert. I will be afraid to leave any teenage 20ft near you alone. In most African societies up till about 60 years ago, teenage girls walk around topless, it never entered their fathers mind (or any other male member of the society for that matter) to rape them. While I was schooling in Sokoto, just 30 years ago, there was a village a just a couple of km from the school, where the girls walked around topless. The was never a case of rape recorded. So looking at your daughter dressing or lying carelessly, and you will have a hard on. Grose. |
Image123:I am still confused at the sense in what you wrote to the topic at hand. Are you saying it is the responsibility of the 17 year old to stop her father from raping her or she was irresponsible for reporting to the mother? Please explain the girls irresponsibly in this case. I was not an angel at 17 but I would find my mother having sex with me very traumatic. Maybe you are insinuating the 17 year old should runaway from home and start fending for herself because you and your sister were fending for yourself at 11. |
Image123:What difference does it make if it's a 6 year old or a 17 year old? According to the law, they are both minors. But that's even besides the point. He is her father for God sake. A person that raised her from birth. A person that bath her till she became a pre teen. A person she trust with her life and existence. Abeg what responsibility or blame the 17 year old daughter? What responsibly do you assign to the wife? Are you insinuating the wife was irresponsible for leaving their daughter with her father? I am trying to understand your logic. That your patents neglected you and your 11 year old sister to fend for yourselves does has no relationship whatsoever with people who are sexually abused by their parents. I just don't get the connection. |
Akakanfirstclass:Very wrong and warped logic. If the elders should flog him without going through the legal process, the man can sue the so called elders for assault and libel. With what evidence will they convict and punishing him with? The elders can't replace a court of competent jurisdiction in modern Nigeria. If it was another person's daughter he raped, he will go to jail. A few lashes of the cane will not deter a criminal from further committing the crime. It will further harden him. If you have dealth with stubborn tenage children, you will understand. |
Pharaoh4rin:This practice was responsible for the the demise of the 18th dynasty of Egyptian monarchy. Any animal that engage in incest will quickly die out due to genetic defects. |
themosthigh:With what evidence? The father would swear with his life that the mother and daughter are ganging up against him. He will simply refer to either the daughter or wife or even both as witches out to destroy his destiny, and that would be the end of it. The man will simply get home and send both mother and daughter packing. You should advice the brothers wife to go the Princess way (aka baba Ijesha) way. She should get a hidden camera (those one that with infrared) and install it in the daughters room. The next time he tries to rape his daughter, it will all be on camera. Then she can report to any human rights organization. I don't trust the Nigerian Police. They go with the highest bidder. |
mrvitalis:Bayelsa Gross allocation for the month of February 2021 was N8,730,011,019.37. - (see the image below) So if we average that for the year, that works out at about N105 billion for the 12 months of the year. Meanwhile..... The total budget for the 2021 fiscal year by the Bayelsa State Government is N290.2 billion, divided into N66,646,082,751 personnel, N80,017,254,683 capital and N66,185,336,658 overhead costs. - https://www.google.com/amp/s/businessday.ng/news/article/diri-proposes-n290-2bn-budget-for-bayelsa-in-2021/amp/ You and I know that overhead and personel costs can never be touched, so if you add the personnel and over head costs which totals N132,831,419,409, you have nothing left for capital projects. In fact you have a deficit of about N27 billion just to meet up with personnel and overhead costs. And this is the situation for the state with the 4th highest allocation in Nigeria and with the smallest population. Imagine the situation for states with far lower allocations and higher population at the same time. That most Nigerians are oblivious of the fact that we are in dire economic straits is amazing.

The OP is just trying to be mischievous. This class room in fact is a very high quality class room - finished with ceramic tiles, iron windows and doors and roofed with aluminum sheets. Even the ceiling is being done with POP sheets. The classroom is painted. The only problem is that the ceiling is not yet finished and the furniture (desk and chairs) is inadequate to cater for the student population. Now let him show us a corresponding government school in his state. Mind you, I am not exonorating the state government of incompetence and maladminstration, I am saying that this is a poor example of such. |
Beancounter94:Which 2.4 million barrels per day (mbpd)? We love deceiving ourselves. That was figures from 2 to 3 years ago. Nigeria's oil production in the last one year hovers around 1.4 mbpd. Production of crude oil including lease condensateThats why I cringe when people say "Nigeria get money". I ask how much money Nigeria get? We are one of the poorest nations in the world in terms of per capita income. |
biosystech:I don't doubt that he is a husler, but this particular story get as e be. It just doesn't make sense and it too scanty of details. “What he does is that: he fries it, and then he’ll use my face to sell it to the UNILAG (University of Lagos) girls. They’ll come and buy puff puff. Very sweet puff puff.”Why will his Ghanaian friend use his face to sell puff puff to Unilag girls? Was he famous that Unilag girls know his face? What was his contributions and reward from the puff puff business. He was not the one making the puff puff and he was not even the one selling the puff puff. I think this is a subliminal message to marketers that his face can sell their products in case he goes home next Sunday. |
CodeTemplar:Nigeria's problem is not the sultan and people who think like him, it is political arrangement that takes land away from the original owners and hand it over to the state and federal governments. The land use act of 1978 effectively killed agriculture. People usually have emotional attachment to their ancestral lands and when that attachment was taken away by the land use act, why should people invest their money and emotions in the land. I am talking large scale agriculture. If you go to the Americas and Europe, you will see families that have owned and cultivated a particular crop for hundreds of years. Here in Nigeria you are only allowed to lease your land from the state government for 99 years, and if by a stint of God's blessings anything valuable is found on your land, the federal government can come in and completely take the land. Also if the land is the exclusive property of a family or community, the land itself can be used as a collateral to receive huge loans from banks and financial institutions. But as it is cannot be used to obtain long term loans. A C of O only means you have possession of the land for a limited period of time. |
basilico:Nice question. You can have quite interesting conversations once you get your head out of Trump's ass. Just like an intellectual religious fanatic. You can engage in very thought provoking conversations until you talk about his religious beliefs. He then throws all reason out of the window. Sorry for the banter.... Now my view on your brilliant question. I think electric motor will take over from internal combustion engine in small and medium size vehicles like bikes, tricycles and small saloon cars, because the power requirements to run small motors are not much. But for huge vehicles like trailers, busses and big cars, internal combustion engine will continue to rule for a long time. Huge battery banks can be complicated and dangerous, and begins to add significant weight to the vehicle itself. I have always wondered why we don't start experimenting with building electric keke Marwa/NAPEP, as it is a small light weight vehicle used for short distance transportation. Their garage can also serve as a charging stating. If it's not that I am under extreme stress with the pressures of family and business this is something i would love to experiment with. |
ThatFairGuy1:Is it not OBVIOUS from the way he spends money without any history of viable business or inheritance? His lifestyle on Instagram alone makes his dealing OBVIOUS. |
Rebuke:I never brought the gospels into it. Men of God is not the gospel. We guys have grouse against the church (prosperity churches), because they have become exactly what Jesus preached against in Matthew 21:12-17. Nigerian Men of God has converted the temple into a den of robbers. Husspuppi is not a preacher, but many preachers preach in support of Husspuppi lifestyle. As an adult you can easily be influenced by people you hold in high esteem like parentd. pastors, imams, sports heros, etc. When your spiritual leader promotes acquisition of questionable wealth in the guise of blessings, it kills your consicience and makes you proud of your criminal activities. |
Authority1o1:That's the result of the prosperity gospel promoted by new generation churches. It's all about fast acquisition of money without regard for the source and then showing off as a testimony of God's blessings. Imagine this instagram post having over 300,000 likes. That's 300000 potential criminals. |
FBI has a very weak case against ACP Anna Kyari. Except they have other evidence outside what was released to the public so far, a crime against the US or US citizen cannot be proven in a court of law. Here’s what we learnt.Yes there is a relationship between Mr Kyari and Hushpuppi. Relations between. Citizens and police officers is normal all over the world. It's not a crime to have a relationship with police officers. I could not find any evidence in the report that Kyari has any relationship with the two female co-conspirators living in the U.S. Mr Kyari arrested and detained Chibuzo Vincent for five weeks to block him from further dissuading the Qatari businessperson not to send money to the U.S. bank accounts run by the two women for Hushpuppi. There is no evidence in the report that Mr Kyari detained Chibuzo with the intent of blocking him from dissuading the Qatari businessperson from sending money to the U.S. bank accounts. What I read was that Husspuppi paid Kyari to lock up Vincent in order to punish him for squealing. He might has well have ordered Kyari to execute chibuzor, it will only cost Huss much more. In Nigeria people pay police officers to lock up opponents and adversaries for all sorts of things. How many times have landlord paid police to lock up stubborn tenants? Since it was clear in the indictment that Mr Kyari knew that holding Chibuzo was only to allow Hushpuppi to defraud the Qatari businessperson of an additional $575,000 as Hushpuppi specifically mentioned to Mr Kyari, this made Mr Kyari an accomplice in the fraud that passed through American banks .Where was it stated in the indictment that Kyari was aware of any Qatari businessman or about a $575,000 sum? There is no evidence that Mr Kyari was involved or privy to the said scam. You are telling me that in a deal worth $575,000, Kyari being aware that he was a major factor to the success of the deal agreed to collect $20k as his share of the deal. Now did Kyari collect his money before playing his part in the deal or after the deal had succeeded and the parties were sharing the loot? You can only prove he is a co-conspirator if the latter is the case. |
FoolishBoy419:I don't understand what you wrote up there? Are you saying many rape cases are reported in the north every year? How many rape cases make it to court in the south? Most rape cases we hear about are allegations made on the pages of newspapers. Only few high profile cases make it to court. Secondly, the average 15 year old in the north IS NOT a married woman. I don't know how these kinds of stereotypes get spread in the north. The only possible explanation is that you don't know what 'average' means. If the average northern 15 year old girl in the north (and I mean core north) is not married, what then are the millions of girls doing? They are not doing almajiri, they are not leaning work, they are not farming and they are certainly not in school. Southern youths don't marry 16 year olds. They just rape them insteadAnd northern youths don't rape teens and pre teens. https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/amp/news/262965/13-year-old-girl-allegedly-raped-by-imam-7-others-says-th.html |
Pierocash:Abeg helep me translate this for broken, as I be proper warri boy, na broken be our lingua franca. I have fought a lot of spiritual battles which I won but not without a scratch |
Blakpot:Gbam. I don't havd time to watch the show, but from the clip I watched here, Pere was behaving live an immature teenager. A matured man don't just "toast" a girl that way. You have not connected to her and you just pull her aside and belch "I like you and want a relationship with you". What did he expect her to say. To woo a girl to must exhibit emotional intelligence, and not just rely on fine boyism. You must study her emotional needs and then fulfill them (either by pretense or real). Once you are able to connect emotionally, promise land is your destination. |
Pierocash:You fought witches and demons spiritually and won without a stretch? That one no be witch anymore but whinsh. |
Pierocash:If all that demons and witches can do is just a few scratches on the thigh and pinning someone on a bed for a few minutes, then demons and witches are indeed very weak and powerless entities. A human is much more powerful. If it's a human that wants to deal with you while you are asleep, the injuries would be more than a few scratches or rashes, that is if you survived the attack. Maybe there were more powerful demons and witches like Morgana in Merlin's era, but these modern ones are sissies. |
FoolishBoy419:I tend to disagree with you that rape is more rampant in the south. Why? Because the north is a very closed conservative society. Rape cases are not and cannot be reported. It will impose a stigma on the girl and her family family for life. As a result there are no statistics whatsoever on rape cases in the north. On second thought you might be right to some extent, because by the time a girl is 15, she most likely would have been married off. Meanwhile sex with a 15 year old in the south is regarded as statutory rape. Why a full grown adult would want to marry a small girl less than 16 is beyond me. Outside tight pùssy ( sex),What else can she offer? I feel it's some kind of fetish. |
benalvino3:That's why I suggest you guys should advocate for cyberKunfu to take over the running of elections in Arizona, at least in Maricopa County, since you guys take their word for it. They look and sound more professional. |
benalvino3:I think the Arizona State Senate should appoint Cyberninja as the election organizers for Arizona, since you guys don't trust the Maricopa County election officials. Not only that, you guys distrust the whole US electoral system, from the county officials to the state legislative and executive officials and up to the Supreme Court. I think that until everything to do with elections in swing counties and states that Republicans lost is handled by officials appointed by Republican led Senate, it can never be accepted by Trump Republicans. |
sweetjohn:Key difference - Her citizen. Is Kyari a US citizen? I don't understand your comparism at all. You guys like to compare snake to eel. You think Nigerian government would have been able to kidnap Kanu the way it did if Kanu was a Kenyan citizen. So you are advocating for the US to kidnap Kyari too and ship him to US for collecting bribe from another Nigerian citizen? The way you guys reason is incredible. |
gstream:And the US sent FBI to Switzerland, France and other countries to extradite Sapp Blatter and Michael platini? |
limeta:What about Osama? Osama was US number one enemy. Osama organized an attack on US soil that killed over 5000 Americans. The US invaded Afghanistan and the Taliban solely because they harboured Osama. The US were searching the whole world for Osama. Are you now equating Abba kyari with Osama? |
limeta:Because Nigeria is a sovereign country and Nigerians are not answerable to the US for crimes committed in the zoo. If the US really wants to help Nigerians fight corruption, it should furnish the Nigerian authorities with proof of the allegations against Kyari and pressure the Nigerian government to prosecute him in a Nigerian court. The US would never allow other countries prosecute it's citizens for crimes committed in the US. |
limeta:Yes he needs to clear his name. In Nigeria and not in the US. If it was Qatar demanding his extradition, it might make sense. |
IPIGSRDOTARDS:There is no proof in the indictment that Kyari facilitated anything. There is no evidence Kyari was even aware that there is a particular fraud case. He was only paid by Hushpuppi to deal with rival by locking him up. If you have your money, you can pay Police to do anything for you. It's standard practice. |
