richidinho:Obviously, you have nothing tangible to say. If I should tell you the year I did JAMB and my scores, you cannot not measure up on any level. Ojoji:My brother, it's not a matter of emotions, it's a matter of history. We have had terrible experience of privatisation in the past, especially under the government of Obasanjo/Atiku. A few examples are NITEL, ANAMMCO, Daily Times, NICON Hotels, NICON Insurance, Delta Steel Company, Ajaokuta Steel Company, NEPA, NIPOST, NigerDock and many more. The privatisations at best did not lead to improved services, at worst it was a scam. Now NNPC is a different ball game. Do you know the number of subsidiaries under NNPC? Ordinary the four refinery subsidiaries that was shabbily done by the Obasanjo/Atiku regime was immediately reversed by Yaradua, and you are now talking about the selling of the whole of NNPC. So you want private companies to market and sell Nigeria's crude for us? Please give me an example of any country in the world that had privatised it's national oil company. |
richidinho:Make your point and stop talking in riddles. |
richidinho: ![]() |
soulpeppersoup:NNPC is not a refinery or refineries. Dangote is building the largest single refinery in the world in lagos, and it is expected to be functional by the end of next year. It has little with NNPC,except licensing and regulations. If you do not know the functions of NNPC, check their website. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) |
See the reaction of NNPC staff after hearing the News that Abubakar Atiku lost the presidential elections.

QDubz:Landmines are laid on land and are triggered when you walk through it, drones fly in the air and avoid Landmines. How will a jammer jam a manual hand operated drone? As I said, jammers will not be practical along a 2000 mile length of wall. Drones are similar to a helicopters, while helicopters uses 2 blades and are usually driven by fuel engines, drones has multiple blades and are driven with battery power. Here is another drone used to lift persons to higher altitudes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg__zXMeSgo |
beatcoins:Anti drone guns along a 2000 mile border? This drone was actually lifting a human and there are lots of Drones on youtube with humans in it. The main problem with these types of Drones is that Drone manufacturers are forbidden from building it. If you want one you have to build it yourself, and that takes quite some expertise and money. |
QDubz:not feasible. It's impossible to put motion sensors on the over 2000 miles wall that would cover the whole Mexican border. Radar do not work on ground level or very low altitudes. Planes bypass radar by flying very low. What's the use of jammers in stopping human operated drones, besides, you can install jammers on the entire length of the wall |
beatcoins:I did not realise the above video is a hoax as I did not read the YouTube comments. The concept is highly feasible though. A drone that can lift men high into the air is not very difficult to build. See another one here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At3xcj-pTjg |
In this era of cheap drones, president Trump and his Maga thinks a simple wall will keep intruders and drugs out of US side of the border. So lesson China learnt more than 1,500 years ago. Here is a drone that can carry people, drugs and guns across a wall in seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAbCGsntQis |
muykem:Ordinary $20 million. Money that is not up to what the Senate president of Nigeria spends in a year. And someone will tell me that Ghana is better than Nigeria. |
johnydon22:Although I have not had enough time to go through all your posts and the thread in general, from what I can gleam, you seem to suggest that theists have an objective basis for morality, which is their God. As a result all morality emanates from the wishes, instructions, commands of their God. The problem with this argument is that the wishes and commands of these God's are most times discriminatory, contradictory vague and inconsistent in nature. Take the rape example, according to all religions (including Judaism ), raping an adherent is morally wrong, but raping non believers is not even considered immoral. There are examples in the bible where Jews were instructed to rape virgins in conquered territories. Same with with killing. Killing members of the same religion or sect is amoral, but killing apostates or unbelievers is even viewed as a moral duty. This was the attitude the Christians took to the Americas to murder most unbelievers and is the same attitude Muslims have today in Northern Nigeria, Syria, Afghanistan. |
VaselineCrew:If you are talking of a mostly homogeneous country, then you should be talking of over 200 countries. In Delta state alone you should be talking of at least 4 countries. We could still have Oduduwa, Arewa and Biafra as 3 beautiful nations in the future. You think Arewa and Biafra can remain independent nations for long? Many of the hundreds of tribes in the north will start jostling for independence from the Fulanis once Arewa is created. Same thing with Biafra, the Aniomas, Ikwerres, the Ijaws, the calabaris, and others will be fighting to free themselves from igbo dominanation ( remember Adaka Boro ) Maybe the Yorubas can form a viable nation as they had been under one political unit under the oyo empire. So there is really no need for violence, just put pressure on reps and let's get a national conference going. That advice should go to IPOB. They should pass through state and national assembly, instead of threats, protests and sit at home. |
Same way most Chinese have never seen Harmattan before. Different climate.

Here is a video of a Nigerian who was arrested by the police for disturbing public peace by preaching in the streets of London. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDwxVLZEzBo |
asdfjklhaha:He will teach his student and children after he is dead abi? I wonder if dying a hero would feed and pay school fees of his children. He did the right thing. He can then write a report to INEC commissioner detailing his experience and at the same time wrote a petition to the commissioner of police or IG of threats to his life |
SaintNemesis:The people rigging did not know there is a mole in their midst. The mole was probably using one of those spy cameras embedded inside a cap or glasses. |
donwhit:If you look at the ballot boxes closely, you will see 2019 written on the ballot papers. You still doubt that both PDP and APC rigged?
|
donwhit:Are you sure you have enough bandwidth to watch the video? 2019 was clearly written on the ballot sheets. |
Dronedude:You mean the people in this video were APC agents acting like they are PDP? |
crazygod:why not post the original unedited one here so we can see. Are you saying it was APC that was thumb printing in this video but was edited to show PDP? |
mhizdebbygold:If you come out in multitudes, it will be more difficult for an unpopular party to win. Yes, you guys should have doubled your game and rig if opportuned. If you guys give any candidate 6 million votes, no candidate will ignore you again in any election. |
SouthEastFacts:You don't seem to understand how and why people vote in elections. It is the party that is aggrieved that participates more in elections than those that are satisfied with the status quo. Igbos are highly aggrieved with Buharis government and his no love lost relationship with the Igbos, while Atiku is showing love to the Igbos. Reason dictates that Igbos would troop to the polls to cast and defend their votes, while yorubas who are somehow please with Buhari will show aparty. Imagine if 50% of Igbos came out to vote and give Atiku even 70% of their votes. |
mhizdebbygold:Forget Orji Kalu and Rochas, if 50% of the over 2 million registered voters actually voted in Imo, the number of votes diverted by them would not have mattered much. What helped them is voter a aparty and voter suppression. |
SS/SE did not fail Atiku. Hoe can you say SS/SE failed atiku when he won all SS/SE states. It is only in rigged elections (like those in Yobe and Burno) you will see one candidate win with over 90%. In any normal elections the difference between opponents is usually not more than 30%. That is why I say that apart from voter suppression in Lagos, the figures in the south west represent the actual wishes of the people. It was the Igbos that failed Atiku, they simply did not come out and vote. The figures from Abia, Imo, Ebonyi are appalling. There was so much voter aparty on south east states. The better Igbos realise their votes is their real strength and their ace for negotiating with Nigeria the better for them. |
No election in the world is worse than Iwu's 2007 elections. An election conducted without serial numbers, and election where two elections was conducted at the same time, same place and same ballot boxes, but one was cancelled after voting due to violence and the other was valid. This happened in Imo (Iwu's own state.) Agreed this election was rigged in Yobe, Burno, and Manipulated I Lagos. This was the same scenario in 2015, only difference was that rigging was curtailed in PDP areas like Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta. Rigging had always been part of Nigeria's election culture and be best rigger always win. We need to demand for true electronic voting and monitoring to eliminate or at least reduce rigging. |
ogbonti:What is the source of Tinubu's wealth? You guys are so irrational that sometimes it borders on schizophrenia. In one breath you say Yorubas are slaves to Tinubu, in the next breath you as "what is the source of Tinubu's wealth?" Are you telling us that you do not know Tinubu's company , alpha beta, and it's relationship with Lagos States government? |
MT:And you have not heard of revocation of visa after it has been given. Britain revoked a whole citizenship and you are talking about ordinary visa. |
Mordecai:Says the first person that would walk to Benin Republic at the first sound of a gun. |
Superman7:Banks are private businesses, they can come to Tunubu's house on judgement day. |
MT:How you want take reach America? |
