I kind of support the shoot at sight order of ballot box snatchers and election defrauders, but the issue is, just as biased as Buhari's anti corruption war has been which is just fight against opposition party and other tribes he does not like, this shoot at sight order will be mainly for PDP and other opposition parties.

So literately, Buhari is commanding Nigerian Police to shoot PDP party agents and supporters
angry

If you like go and snatch ballot box .You will die for nothing. Be warned
Don't mind PDP and their wailings. Out of over 70 parties participating in the elections only PDP is feeling very pained by the directive to shoot ballot box snatchers.

Please help me ask him which of the offences is more serious, snatching of ballot boxes during elections or shooting of ballot box snatchers?

Of course, because Buhari is damn nepotistic! His corruption fight is only against opposition, but dines and wines with APC corrupt bigwigs.
Who is talking of corruption fight? We are not even talking about Buhari's nepotism(which Buhari is guilty of), we are talking about criminals who attempt to steal the wishes of the people by snatching ballot papers during elections. If possible, I will also support shooting all those who alter and allocate votes after the elections.

It is obvious that ONLY PDP will bear the brunt of all the laws. Nothing will happen to APC because APC is a 'saint', no matter the level of contravention of the law.
Of cause, as it is only PDP that is screaming blue murder over a directive to shoot ballot box snatchers.

Today, after watching the tyrant make that statement. I was shocked. There is a Constitution in this country and it stipulates the penalty for electoral offences. But as always, Mr. Muhammedu, being an Islamist, has ignored the provisions of the constitution and call for his illiterate supporters to kill people.

Today, after watching Mr. Oshomole, frankly speak Hausa in clauses of the speeches, to please the Northern Masters, as a willing slave from the Southern divide, who are great at dividing the South in worship of the Masters, I have finally made a decision.

That, this country, is no longer a place for sane minds and therefore, I have began arrangement to relocate. I have been one of the best minds who believed I could stay put and be proud of Nigeria, but I can no longer be proud to be a citizen of a country where barbarism is celebrated.

It is a shame. That a President, can threaten citizens with Death. It therefore means that El-Rufai was just speaking for his master.

I keep wondering what is wrong with Islam, that those who fall for this religion are almost always crazy.
Try the shit you guy get away with in the US and see if you will live to say constitution. Take a gun to where people are casting their vote and attempt to snatch a ballot box and see if any armed officer will ask questions before blowing your head off.

Don't mind the sinking tyrant and his bunch of occult morons.

They are the ones twisting the word of the murderous tyrant to suit there murderous inclinations. Supporters of this idiocy are the reason there are large scale killings in the land on daily basis.

Nowhere did tyrant mention ARMED ballot snatching. But his hopeless supporters had to import that into the narrative just to satisfy their god's quest for innocent blood. Even armed robbers are not killed extra judicially except in cases of self-defense. It's folks like the tyrant supporters that lynch people on the street for stealing bread. No single value for human life.

The tyrant threatened POTENTIAL "ballot snatchers" with military extra judicial killings DURING AN ELECTION WEEK and they are here and there supporting it.

Shame on all of you, if you are one of those who support this madness.
I support it wholeheartedly. Ballot box snatchers should be shot on site. Snatching ballot boxes is a coup against the nation and coup against democracy should receive death penalty.

Ballot box snatchers don't snatch ballot boxes by asking nicely, they come fully armed and shoot sporadically to drive away election officials, party agents, observers and even security men, before they carry the boxes into their hideout for thumb printing.

It is expected that PDP and their supporters will cry foul, because they are afraid the directive will affect only them. You don't expect master ballot box snatchers to applauded the move as they are afraid.

F15 fighters don't win wars, determined ground soldiers do. Ask Israel in the Israeli - Hezbollah war or the American -Vietnam war.
Even in the ongoing war against ISIS it's the Pershmerga forces (kurdish fighters) that are taking territories from ISIS.

The above is a big problem for Buhari, he is trying too hard to be an "Oyinbo Democrat" thatplays by the rule when his opponents in the POP are the typical, wicked Nigerian Politicians.
Every time, he would say "l don't want to interfere" so they don't say l am a military dictator!
Nigeria is peculiar, Nigerians are peculiar and Nigerian Politicians are the worst dcumbags that ever lived.
Especially PDP Politicians who would do anything to create chaos and steal "power" like they steal our money.

Buhari needs to stop playing nice with these criminals, it was this Mr. NICE SYNDROME that allowed Saraki to impose himself on us as Senate President till today! Mr. Nice cannot survive Nigeria'dirty politics, he needs to learn from the likes of Tinubu.
That's the problem. Buhari is trying too hard to be a Democrat and is always on the defensive. PDP and it's allies bullied Buhari into removing the person in charge of logistics for the past 2 elections and put a completely inexperienced person there. Now, that there is a logistics catastrophe, the same PDP is putting the blame on Buhari. Some even said Amina Zakari from her position of head of collation centre sabotaged the logistics for the elections.
If it was someone like OBJ, he would have simply doubled down and even made Iyabo the head of logistics.

As I said, it is easier said than done. Moving out of an areas leaving ones house, businesses and commitments is not easy at all, except there is a full scale war. Even then, some people still have no where to go. At the hight of the Niger delta crisis, when militants and kidnappers took over the whole place, people were still residing in their homes and managing to do business.
In completely destroyed cities in Iraq and Syria, lots of people were still living among the rubbles.

The best solution is to protest, write petitions and shout on both social and print media to force the government to do what their primary responsibility is - which is to protect life and property.

oworoshoki, bariga and ifako is a part of Lagos state that have high number of young criminal that have develop the habit of killing day by day in that last 5 years.there are various street when you visit oworoshoki then you ask yourself if such places exist in Lagos. they call that area igologo estate etc .

all these criminal grew up in that slum and that location and they have develop the heart just to kill. most parent are to be blame why, they gave birth to children ,they did not train ,if you know you cannot train a child don't give birth, that environment is associated with poverty when a child is allow to find food to eat at young age and it develop into criminal that is affecting the society. dont blame government if you fail as a parent .

why they can penetrate and kill in oworoshoki is that they lack good security. these criminal comes from other area such as ifako and bariga.
Bariga is where the most dangerious boys reside .they enter oworoshoki and kill and go freely.

to eradicate this bad boys these three location must be clean of bad boys OWOROSHOKI,IFAKO AND BARIGA if not they will be wasting time .

they have been killing since five years ago and rob residents. A guy was recently arrested taken to the prison ,transfer from lagos to abuja but recently released ,he still continue in the habit, his nick name is swagar very dangerious boy,he grew up in oworoshoki but because of evil connection he has,he has been free and have confidence . his parent where not rich.

the police station in oworoshoki is just a place for transaction no major work going on there.

the killing started 5 years ago and they have kill so many young boys ,go to oworoshoki police station they have the records of number of death still yet zero arrest and the one that was arrested ,have been released .
This is the same situation in Ikorodu. The Cultists are so brazen and confident. People are scared of them. They are all well known but no one can report them, because they are connected to big politicians. if arrested they would be released in no time and would then come for you and your family.

To me Okoro is not a derogatory name, it's a very common igbo name. Igbos generic appellations are either Okoro or Omo Igbo. My wife is always referred to Omo Igbo by neighbours who don't know her name.

Tinubu that is alleged to call Igbos Okoro had 2 Igbos in his cabinet and had many igbo people in senior positions in his party.

Amina Zakari, a national commissioner at the Independent and National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been appointed to head the collation centre of the elections.

Zakari was appointed to head the committee on collation centre, one of the two committees for the election which the commission inaugurated on Thursday in Abuja.

Speaking during the inauguration, Mahmood Yakubu, INEC chairman, said the committee shall be responsible for the national collation centre – the International Conference Centre – from where results of the Presidential election will be announced.

Lol. And you're the head of CIA that knows everything.

In Nigeria rumours have more truth in them than official party political dribbling they feed us.

By early morning yesterday, I heard rumours that elections will be postponed totally or in some states. They even used alleged Kaduna shooting as one of the excuses lined up. If I had posted the info here, Seun & his mod goons would have banned me.

I and my friends even dismissed the rumours.

And what happened last night? Exactly that.

As a possible indomie kid, you might not know.

We had rumours about Buhari's coup long before 1983 coup against Shagari. Most people dismissed it. I grew up surrounded by investigative journalists. What I knew as a little kid about Buhari, many people will never know lifelong.
And he later struck.

I still laugh at people who claim Buhari didn't know about the coup. cheesy cheesy cheesy grin grin
If we are to believe every rumour being peddled by opposition or vested interests, then we would not be able to separate reality from friction anymore.

The election postponement, though annoying was not unexpected, INEC seem totally unprepared to organise the general elections and I hope they would he ready in one week. Election postponement are the norm in Nigeria rather than an exception.

There was rumours of a coup immediately Shagari won the election in 1983, The 1983/84 coup did not come as a surprise.

Why not explain the role Buhari played in the 1983 coup? At least we knew the roles Babangida, Abacha, Bako, Dongoyaro, Idiagbon and even MKO abiola. Did Buhari participate in the planning, execution or financing of the coup? References please.

Jega who is the person with the final say on election matters said he is ready to conduct elections and you an outsider says INEC was not ready.

Jega in his directive postponing the elections clearly stated that he was ready to hold elections but was virtually arm twisted by the Jonathan administration
Current State of INEC’s Preparedness
On Thursday, February 5, 2015, I was invited to brief the National Council of State, which is the highest advisory to the President comprising past and present leaders in Nigeria, on the level of preparedness of INEC to conduct the 2015 general elections.
I made a presentation to the Council titled ‘Preparations for the 2015 General Elections: Progress Report,’ in which I gave a detailed account of what the Commission has been doing in readiness for the national elections (National Assembly and Presidential) scheduled for February 14th, and the state elections (Governorship and State Assembly) scheduled for February 28th, 2015.
The summary of my presentation to the National Council of State meeting is that, for matters under its control, INEC is substantially ready for the general elections as scheduled, despite discernible challenges being encountered with some of its processes like the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by registered members of the public

In the delivery and deployment of electoral materials, INEC is also at a comfort level in its readiness for the general elections as scheduled (see the presentation to the Council of State). The Commission’s preparations are not yet perfect or fully accomplished. But our level of preparedness, despite a few challenges, is sufficient to conduct free, fair and credible elections as scheduled on February 14th and February 28th.

PoliticsRe: Difference Between 2015 And 2019 Postponement Of Elections by wirinet(m): 7:36am On Feb 16, 2019
The main difference between the two postponements are that the 2019 postponement was taken by INEC after emergency meeting of INEC'S commissioners (who are the people saddled with such responsibility), the 2015 postponements was done directly by Dasuki (Jonathan's government), with INEC initially disagreeing with the postponement.

The other difference is that while the 2015 postponement was not so disruptive to Nigerians as they had one week notice, the 2019 postponement is cruel to social and economic life if most Nigerians, as most woke up on election day itself to learn of the postponement. Schools have been shut for a week, most businesses had closed down and many people had travelled to their voting centres.
PoliticsRe: Reasons For Postponing The Election "United Nations" by wirinet(m): 7:23am On Feb 16, 2019
geadom:
EC'S INTENDED OSUN TEMPLATE BUSTED BY THE UNITED STATES

Nigerians should be grateful to the United States for saving our democracy today. This is why the party in power got frustrated about the international communities interference at one point and threatened “body bags” because they know, “Americans would know”.

We are a sovereign state, agreed, but there was nothing Nigerians would have done tonight to prevent Mohammadu Buhari from rigging this election, if not for the intervention of the USA.

The Buhari government in collaboration with INEC had an agenda on how to rig the election in favor of Buhari. This was what they were planning to execute tonight with the postponement drama when the United States government got a wind of it and called the INEC Chairman not to dare.

THEIR PLAN:

The strategy was to allow elections hold in 26 states and postpone it in 10 states. For the ten states, they had two plans: late arrival of election materials and security crisis.

The idea was to deliberately allow materials arrive late as we are already witnessing in some states, and INEC would have no option but to postpone elections in those states.

For instance, the aircraft that was supposed to deliver materials to Enugu was told it can't land because of bad weather conditions and it had to land in Port Harcourt. Right before us, elections in Enugu would have been postponed.

The crisis template was executed in Kaduna today. The news of Kaduna State killings of 66 people today was part of the plan to create an atmosphere of catastrophic so that INEC would postpone the election in Kaduna State citing security challenges. The news of the killings was fabricated and sponsored by the 3 inches 'body bag' Governor of that state.

For the 26 states that election would have held, the plan was to watch out for the outcome. If it favours Atiku, whatever the margin is, they would deploy heavy security agents to ensure they get enough votes to cover up the margin in the 10 states that elections were to be postponed as they did in Osun state.

With this plan, Buhari would be elected back as president, but the US said, NO!

Elections across the 36 states must hold simultaneously, they insist.
You should consider a career in fiction writing, you've got talent. The US calling INEC chairman and warning him not to dare. Very good line.

This is a postponement PDP rejects. If the postponement was to thwart APC's rigging plan, you would think PDP would be happy with the postponement.

How will postponement of election favour APC? Experience has shown postponements favour opposition than the ruling government.

Are you saying burning of INEC's offices and election materials is not good excuse for election postponement?

My beef with the postponement is the timing rather than the postponement itself. They should not have waited for the 99.9th hour to announce the postponement, INEC had ample time to postponement the election. They have seriously disrupted the social and economic life of Nigerians. This move will further worsen voter apathy as many voters would not be prepared to travel to their place of registration again.
