By the way,Buhari is doesn't give a damn about courts.. If not El-Zakzaky should be a free man
The supreme Court is not the chief justice. The supreme Court requires a quorum of at least 7 judges to sit. The 7 justices vote on decisions and the majority carries the day.

BUHARI WILL ONLY UNDERSTAND MASS PROTEST, NOT COURT'S THAT HE DISOBEYS. I AM WITH FFK, I WILL FLY INTO NAIJA SOON. I AM READY TO LAY DOWN MY LIFE TO SEE JUSTICE DONE!!!!!!
Did Onnoghen say he is innocent of charges?

Is Tinubu the Chief Justice of Nigeria?

What concern Onnoghen with Bullion Vans entering Tinubu's house? Big men in Nigeria do not go to bank, the bank comes to them.

If PDP people engage in mass protests and civil disobedience, what do you expect APC supporters to do?

All Atiku has to do now is make the pronouncements and all you paid BMC crew will discover that this country is too big for the dullard to call for elections, and still forcefully take power.

We would queue behind him and watch the country burn till justice is done.
And you think you and your family will not burn along with the country, while Atiku and Buhari's family would be chilling, watching the show on CNN from abroad with pop corn in hand.

If Buhari had said the same after the charade that was the 2007 elections that declared Yaradua the president, what will you have said?
Buhari went all the way to the supreme Court and lost with a verdict if 4 to 3 against cancelling the elections because the elections was done without serial number.

Since you want to talk, how much of Abacha loot has been recovered till date?
Forget how much of Abacha loot - recovered or unrecoved. How much was available for Abacha to loot vs how much available to Jonathan. Under Abacha crude never went beyond $16, it fell asleep low as $8 at a time. During Jonathan crude went beyond $100 and even peaked at $140, and a production volume of over 2 million barrels every day.
Abacha in his 8 odd years did not make the money Jonathan made in a single year.

Let me hear any Igbo complain about Buhari again.
It is called the Kanu effect, and I think it was a strategy employed by APC strategists. As long as igbos don't vote or boycott the elections, APC is safe.

Abacha's corruption was way less than during Jonathan. During Abacha, corruption was restricted to him and his family members ( he was selfish ), so even when crude prices went as low as $8, we managed to survive.
During Jonathan, corruption was democratised and liberalised. Dasuki was sharing money like confetti. Alison Madueke and her boyfriend friends were using dollars for tissue paper. Even though crude sold for over $100, before Jonathan left he was borrowing from world Bank to pay salaries.

What Nigerians are you talking about.,?

Buhari won on the strength of almajiri. That was where he crushed atiku.
Atiku lost majorly in Kano, Kastina, yobe. Those are not exactly the smartest Nigerians out there.
They probably voted for buhari because he is a better Muslim than whatever atiku plans to do with the NNPC.

Buhari lost among educated Nigerians.
He lost in the highbrow areas of Lagos, he lost in Abuja, he lost in the east.
Those are the smartest places in Lagos.
Have you not wandered why Atiku wins high brow areas like the capital and rich urban areas, while Buhari wins the poor villages and ghettos?
It is simply that the lazy elites are not finding it easy anymore. No easy money to throw around as most of the loopholes are being blocked. Abuja is now a ghost of itself. I see many oloshos relocating to Lagos as patronage has drastically reduced. I see many corpers coming to Lagos from Abuja to search for jobs, which was the reverse just a couple of years ago.

You should be far more than this.
Stop following the illiterate bandwagon. Of what use is NNPC as a government corporation?
Till date, not a single working refinery. Just issue oil licenses, sell crude for FG and share money.
The corruption in that corporation is mind boggling. Most oil producing countries worldwide
have since
That's the core mandate of NNPC. So you want Atiku's friends, which he promised to make rich to be in charge of selling crude, issuing licences and sharing our crude sales?
Russia experimented with selling their oil corporation, they regretted it and had to buy the various components of their oil corporation back at huge expense. That's was how people like Abrahamovic became instant billionaire.

Buhari is the better man and a thinking man's choice. He performed relatively well economically, Angola and Venezuela fared worse. He failed security wise though and is clannish in his appointments.
Please explain the bonded. Let's compare and contrast Atiku's and Buhari's grades, courses attended and diplomas obtained, then we can speculate on who is more educated.

At least we have seen Buhari's WAEC or is it Cambridge grades, we have seen his secondary school and course mates in India and the US. Have you seen any evidence of Atiku's certificates or course mates?

You are now conflating unrelated issues. You said Buhari had nothing to do with some economic and infrastructural progress, that it was on auto pilot. I do not have problems with atmosphere of miracles, the only problem is the faking and acting of miracles to deceive the gullible audience.

The main problem of Pentecostals are harassing people in busses, streets, homes, business day and night. They impose their religion on children in schools without the consent of the parents. They even sometimes force non believers to pray and fellowship with them at work places and offices.

You can agree on that too
Not necessarily. It is the Nigerian brand of Pentecostalism that are too forceful in trying to convert non believers. These problems are not so pronounced in other African countries with he same colonial history and same Muslim - Christian division, ie Ghana, Sierra Leone.

Also before the advent of the Pentecostals, the there was much more religious harmony between the Christians and Muslims and even the traditionalists.

I'm a Christian but me self know that we are hypocrites, see Sunday is Public holiday for the whole country because of us, we force Christmas on the north, send WhatsApp BC to them

But If they send you just 1 WhatsApp BC about Allah, wailing will start, we mock their religion more than they mock ours

Muslims aren't vindictive, if they were, Nigeria for done turn to Iran since
I agree that Christians, especially the Pentecostal brand tries to force their religion on others, but they are not responsible for Sunday and Christmas. It was our colonialist who imposed western ideals and social, political and economic system on Nigeria. Sunday and Christmas are not necessarily Christian culture but those of western civilisation. Turkey, India and Indonesia, which are basically Muslim countries observe Sunday as work free day.

The number 1 problem is making it a Buhari vs Atiku issue. There are other candidates for Christ's sake. Everything must not be about "if she isn't pro-APC, she's pro-PDP". Some of us are not pro any party. We are pro good governance regardless of ethnicity, religion or political party.
Most Nigerians are realists and not idealists. Only PDP and APC has the reach, the clout and the war chest to win national elections in Nigeria. All other parties are just jokers.
If the other parties are serious, they would have tried winning elections in local government area first. If people see their effectiveness and difference, they would then win elective offices at state level, before gunning for the big one.
That's how it is done world wide.

Elections to me put you in such a tight corner that you have to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea, and when you factor in that some of (if not all) the candidates go extra mile to rig, it leaves you wondering whether your time under the scalding Nigerian sun is ever worth it. But here's what i always tell anyone who decides to carry on the adventure. "Look at the current administration, are you satisfied with all they've done? Can you stand another 4 years of their rule? If not, throw them out."
Not all all, most people are disappointed with the current administration... But then what is the alternative? At least Buhari has anti corruption as his main campaign Slogan, even if it is selectively and haphazardly done. What is the campaign Slogan of Atiku? I will sell NNPC and I will enrich my friends?

Just shouting Nigerians are suffering because of Buhari won't cut it. He was expected to detail his strategy out of the economic doldrum we find ourselves in.

ariketalks:
One thing is sure.
If we return Buhari and his cohorts to Aso rock today, then we have failed and our predecessors and successors will not be happy with us.
The country is hard, people are suffering all because of these people. Prices of food items have been on a steady rise since this man came into power, security is at an all-time low, many people are feeding from hand to mouth but a single man has spent a chunk of the nation's treasury abroad on his health, after hypocritically saying 4 years ago that he would ban foreign health trips for government officials. Apparently charity doesn't begin at home for some.
To those who intend to sell their votes, voices, power and common sense for a derica of rice or some meagre amount of money, please think again. Will that be adequate for you and your family to feed conveniently for another four years? Do you think these people care about you?
If Buhari truly wants the best for this country as they claim, then why the desperation to remain there? If his primary aim is not to loot, why the need to serve two terms? Isn't it obvious to him that his government has only brought untold hardship to Nigeria(ns)?
THINK!!
This is a man who has been in power for 4 years with nothing to show for it. Now he is asking for additional 4 years. LOL! To do what exactly? To finally bury the country that is currently on life support?
I am not for any candidate. I am for common sense, and throwing out whoever fails to perform up to expections, out, because the power to choose leaders is solely ours.
I am sure you are from a part of Nigeria that had always hated Buhari and would always hate Buhari no matter what he does.
Even though I must confess that Buhari did not live up to the expectations of most of his supporters, your reasons for hating on Buhari is weak.

It was not Buhari's rise to power that made food prices rise, food prices had been rising steadily since the 70s. In economics it is called inflation. Nigeria's inflation rate is usually between 12 - 14%. Add that to the rising dollar exchange rate (we buy most if our imported items in dollars), you can now account for the ever increasing cost of items including food. Nigeria's good problem is structural and had been with us for decades
During season, prices of food items like tomatoes, onions, yam, palm oil become very low due to a glut in the market. During off season these same food items becomes exorbitantly expensive as there is acute scarcity. We have zero preservative management.

On Buhari's health expenditure, there is no way that Buhari's medical cost is a chunk of the national treasury. The country's treasury is divided between the 3 tiers of government and each tier budget for their expenditure through their legislature.

Medical expenses of all presidents and vice presidents (including former presidents and vice presidents) and their spouses is taken care of from our treasury. Those of states are taken care of from states treasury. That is the Law. So even if Buhari was not president, he would still have been treated from our treasury.

When Alex Ekwueme became critically ill, he was flown abroad for medical treatment from our treasury.
Read the report here;
Alex Ekwueme flown abroad for treatment

The Second Republic Vice-President, Dr Alex Ekwueme, was on Sunday airlifted abroad for further medical treatment.

Ekwueme was hospitalised at Memfys Hospital of Neurosurgery, Enugu, for chest inflection on Oct. 29.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the elder statesman departed the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday in a white air ambulance with registration number N605AJ.

President Muhammadu Buhari had last week approved that Ekwueme should be flown abroad for treatment.

Iam Igbo and luckily for me I grew up in the east, the notion I feel around me back then as an Igbo man was that a Yoruba man cannot be trusted due to what happened between ojukwu and awolowo and this thought was passed down to us by our fathers who fought the biafran war and i dont blame them for that but fortunately for me I only judge a man by his principles as a matter of fact my clearing agent is a Yoruba moslem. coming to ipobs, I don't support KANU right from the first day I heard him speak let me state clearly that ipobs is not up to 20% of the igbo population so they don't represent the Igbo race. The igbos and yorubas holds the future of this country but they need to come together.
I don't really understand what happened between Awolowo and Ojukwu, and also how what happened between 2 individuals can affect a whole tribe.
The popular rumour is that Awolowo promised Ojukwu to secede once Ojukwu declares secession and that after Ojukwu declared secession Awolowo reneged and joined the northern led FG. This narrative makes no sense at all.

First of all Awolowo was not in any position to declare secession, he was not a military man, he was not even the premiere of the westen region (assuming a premiere can declare secession). Awolowo commanded no troops. The Nigerian troops were under the control of Gowon, while the eastern troops was under the control of Ojukwu. Where would Awo fit in. The most senior Yoruba officers then were Ademoyega, Obasanjo, Banjo, ogundipe, are you insinuating that these senior soldiers would take orders from Awo?
Even if Awolowo was the premiere of the western region, he would still have no powers to unilaterally declare secession.

I think it started after the war but the current generation cannot point to anything as the cause but now the Hausa's have instigated the division and their elites are enjoying it right now.
There was no enmity between Yorubas and igbos after the war. Many igbos came back to Lagos after the war and reclaimed their properties. Awolowo and Zik made up and became friends, they almost formed a political alliance 1978 to contest against the northern dominated NPN for the 1979 elections. Obasanjo and Ojukwu made up and became good friends until Ojukwu's death.

The hatred between Igbo and Yoruba actually started in this political dispensation and became exasperated first by Jonathan's defeat and kanu's rhetorics. The relationship is now so toxic that I doubt it can be repaired in the near future. Both sides have dug in. It is the Hausa/ Fulanis that are the main beneficiary of the hatred between igbos and Yorubas.
