Slynation:Which two women fought? Maybe you watched the wrong video. On woman assaulted another woman, the other woman did not lift a finger. In law it is called assault, and the woman who assaulted face a jail term. |
lailo:Atiku if he becomes President, does not have the power to conduct a referendum on secession of any part of Nigeria. Referendum would require a constitutional change which must involve the national assembly and all the state assemblies. It is even illegal for Atiku to sign such written agreement. |
Chuks9000:I watched the whole presentation, my wife and I had a good laugh. She being igbo can't get her head around how normally intelligent igbo guys fell for this guy. The whole presentation was done shabbily and as you said lackluster. His whole message could be passed in 3 minutes instead of rambling for a whole 30 minutes. The use of projector was ineffective, he could have simply used video grab or video recording app. His claim is now beyond absurd. He claims there are three other Jubril al-Sudani, meaning that Buhari not only has a body double, he has body quadruple, meaning there are three other Buharis apart from the dead original one. He even almost insinuated that it was one of the body quadruple that was sworn in on may 29 2015. |
Corrinthians:So you are telling us that Biafra has been given to Kanu including Benue and Rivers states? So which is which, will IPOB still carry out their referendum along with voting on Saturday? |
teufelein:And you are brave to orchestrate a violent revolution? You think you and your group or even tribe will survive a violent revolution in the 21st century? See what violent revolution did to Libya and Syria, and you want to replicate same in Nigeria? Election which you guys are adverse to is the only feasible way to get your brand new country bereft of colonialism, subjugation and oppression of the common man, any other way will lead to untold hardship and doom. The world is so polarised now that the conflict will be used as an avenue for the world powers to settle their old scores and project their influence. |
fuckboys:No. Because he scampered away at the first sign of danger, after boasting of "biafra or death". Maybe you are to young to know Gani. Gani always had a bag packed with his clothes, toiletries and drugs in case IBB's SSS came. He only asks for 5 mins to get his bag and follow them. Gani underwent the worst prison treatment at the hands of IBB. It was the disease he contracted in one of the prisons that eventually killed him. Fela's mother was killed by the military and he was unjustly incarcerated by Buhari, but he did not run away and continued fighting the military with his music. Kanu on the other hand tricked the courts into giving him bail on health grounds, putting his sureties under great risks. As soon as he was freed, he started threatening and boasting. At the first sight of soldiers he ran away, not caring who is killed or maimed by the soldiers he invited. |
fuckboys:Yes. True freedom fighters don't run and leave their followers to die. Throughout history true freedom fighters were prepered to die while fighting for their cause. Read about William Wallace and how he died to achieve independence for Scotland. |
goodnessme1:So who should we mention, Kanu, Ojukwu and Jonathan? MKO is responsible for the democracy you are enjoying today. Gani fought the IBB regime to a standstill and is responsible for opening the political space to multiple parties. Now, tell me who has contributed more to Nigeria's democracy than these two. |
goodnessme1:Kanu is a dictionary definition of COWARD. Nelson Mandela did not run away, he only travelled around the world gathering support and funds to fight the apartheid government. He went back after his travels and was thrown into prison for 27 years. Same thing with MKO, he came back after traveling to gather international support to confront the Abacha junta. He was eventually arrested, jailed and killed. Jesus never ran from anyone, that would be an insult to christians, it was his parents that fled to Egypt while taking him along as an infant, he had as no say in the matter at all. Anyone who believes in a cause must be ready to die for the cause. It was not a must for Moses to go to the promised land, he only led his people to it. I could not imagine a Gani or Fela running from anyone, not even Buhari as a military dictator. |
IAMTHEHERO:You are partially right. GEJ awarded the contract in stages and funds are to be released also in stages. If funds are not released for a particular stage, the contractor simply packs his equipment and leave. So in reality while GEJ released the funds for the Benin-Ore phase, Buhari released the funds for the Ore - Ijebu ode phase. |
candlewax:50% of zero is still zero. You need to confirm the commission before you can start making any projections. I don't know the commission structure of betKing but Bet9ja pays on total turnover weekly. Betking might be profit sharing. If on the day you went there were not much customers and they don't work on Sundays, how come the weekly commission is average of 45000 to 55000 weekly. It does not add up. As I said confirm the commission from the agent panel. |
candlewax:When is the rent due? You will need to put that into consideration when negotiating to buy the business. A rule of buying an existing business is first determine the profit ( commission minus running costs), and then multiply by 6 months. Don't forget to include a manager's cost. Either you act as the manager or you hire a manager. It a good idea to extend and expand the business, but make sure you analyse your customer base. Who are your present customers and who are the expected increase. Are they traders around, okada riders, surrounding residents, agberos, workers, etc. |
candlewax:Just one cashier generating N45,000 to N55,000? That is a bit steep. It's quite stressful for just one cashier to be playing sports, sharp sharp, racing etc. Will the one cashier work 15 hours, 7 days a week? Won't the cashier go for break or ease himself/herself? Maybe your friend handle a second cashier. Then what about online customers? Who manages online customers? Online customers are very important to increasing commission. If it's bet9ja, the commission came yesterday. Demand to see yesterday's commission. Also demand to see the outstanding debts for today. It is written on the home page. |
candlewax:I have two sport betting outlets, so I understand the business far more than you and even your friend. Sports betting agents are suffering right now. The business is not as profitable as it was even a year ago. This is due to dwindling economy, more competition, betting fatigue among customers and sky rocketing running costs. A shop with a weekly commission of N45,000 - N55,000 is hardly making any profit. Running costs will eat up most of the commission. You pay cashiers, pay for receipt paper, fuel, bandwidth and maintain equipments like generators, computers, printers, TVs, monitors. It's quite complicated managing sports betting shops. Don't forget to inquire about other hidden costs like shop rent and outstanding NEPA cost. Also make sure there are no debts on the agent account. As I said, if the business is bringing in good profits, he will not sell. I have been offered many betting shops and the excuse of selling is always relocation. There are many betting shops for sale all over lagos right now. Do your due diligence well before doling out cash for the betting shop. |
candlewax:Bad idea. He can claim he left N1 million in his bag or an IPhone x and call the police on you or even sue you. Let him carry his own load with his own hands or get a witness to be present and pack his load outside your house in his presence. Call and tell him bluntly, that you he cannot stay in your house, that you need your privacy and peace of mind. |
candlewax:And the wife and kids no like money? Guy, scrutinise that his business well, there is something wrong somewhere. No one sells a profitable business, even if it is in kano. Besides, he is selling the business and not dashing you, so you should have the upper hand. Not many people can pay cash in these Buhari times. Kick him out. |
Mbediogu:Explain how this relates to some igbo's obsession with who Yorubas vote for. |
booblacain:That is false. In the Game of Thrones any one is dispensable. IBB killed lots of northeners to maintain power, including his best friend. Abacha not only insulted northerners he disposed the sultan of Sokoto and sent him on exile and kill the most prominent northerner at that time. Even Reno himself had insulted many southerners including his fellow Niger Deltans to please his master during the immediate past administration. |
Mbediogu:It is a mystery why you guys are so obsessed with who Yoruba wants to vote for. Why not concentrate on who you and your people decided to vote for and leave others to vote whomever they wish to vote for. |
PapaAdanna:If you betray people for a living, why will the same people rely on you to succeed in their ambitions? The most reasonable thing is not to have any expectation from betrayers, but tomorrow the same people will still cry betrayers. |
DrMuzungu:How did Tinubu rise to power under Obasanjo's presidency? Weren't Tinubu and Tinubu sworn in on the same day, and left on the same day? What should Tinubu be grateful to Obasanjo for? |
BlindAngel:Could it be that it was because someone sent 6 of his kid's to study in the UK is the primary reason he could not afford N25million to buy presidential nomination forms? If he paid N25million for nomination form and at the same time send 6 of his kids to school in the UK, would wailers not still scream " thief" and ask how he is able to do all on presidential and military pensions and allowances? |
dokyOloye:All these because Buhari sent his kids to higher education in the UK. Can you compare the physical and financial assets of IBB,Abdulsalam,Marwa, etc with that of Buhari? So for Buhari to prove to wallers that he is Mr. Integrity, he must send his kids to public schools and live in rented apartment. |
Rigel95:First of all, Buhari did not send three children to school in the UK at the same time. Secondly, as a general, posting and operational allowances are quite substantial. My little in law who is just a rating receive up to N10,000 to N15,000 every week. Soldiers out on military assignments are meant to receive allowances everyday. The problem nowadays is that the top officers sit on the allowances of junior officers. A former president or governor receives substantial amount of monies and official benefits from the government, not to talk of additional benefits as a retired general. |
jellington:Don't mind wailers. They expect that someone who was a governor, a petroleum minister, general, a head of state, and PTF chairman and a civilian president would not be able to send his children to school in the US. If that is the case then no public officer or worker could ever send his children to school in UK. |
shosky1794:Don't mind wailers, they wail at everything Buhari says or does. If Buhari sends his children to ansarudeen high school, they will wail "religious fundamentalist", Boko Haram, etc, but Buhari sends his daughters to UK, they still wail. Most of them that claim to school in the UK or know someone that schooled in the UK, have fathers that have not attained one tenth of what Buhari had achieved in life. Some former presidents built whole universities or presidential libraries, they hail, but Buhari simply sending his children to school in UK, they wail. |
Oritsewhandey:Which school did Atiku supporters attend? |
I thought IPOB people say we are in a democracy and that there is freedom of speech. According to them the man only made a threat and not actual action, so he has not committed any crime. |
porka:You guys can straighten crayfish with your twists to issues. Buhari commenced a projected on the drawing board for years and you are saying credits should be given to the person that signed the contract but did nothing. In one breath you say Yar Adua cancelled the contracted signed by Obasanjo (even though it's the same party), and in another you said government is a continuum and it is a must that Buhari must continue with a project signed by Jonathan (even though they are in different parties). What happens if Buhari also cancelled the project? Nigeria has tons of signed and abandoned projects scattered all over the country, are you insinuating that we should not give credit to future governments that decide to commence or complete abandoned projects? |
ojikeebere12:What does "the farm, which belongs to the family of Onnoghen" mean? Does the farm belong to Onnoghen himself, his father or his grandfather? The if the farm is making so much dollars, where are the tax receipts? He cannot tell US that a whole chief Justice is evading taxes. |
Arysexy:No wonder people from your side are famed for being mannerless, simple opinion or observation and you a spewing insults. No steel company in Nigeria produces steel plates, what all these Chinese steel companies are producing are steel rods and steel nuggets. I don't know about him manufacturing tyres, headlights, windows and wind screens, etc. Each of these components require heavy machinery and investments. It makes no economic sense whatsoever to attempt to manufacture every component for making a product. You will not have economics of scale and managing each production outfit will be virtually impossible. That is why there is something called the supply chain. Companies built on manufacturing a few components for specific industries. Engine (including gear box),wheel and few components ( like electronics, shocks, ) are more than 30% of a car. |
