MINNA— Three people including the paternal grandmother have been arrested by the Niger State police command for slaughtering a 9-year-old boy and using the body to prepare peper soup delicacy.

The incidence happened in Koso village in Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State.

Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, Mr. Olusola Amore, told newsmen that the family of the late boy had reported Liman Doo Mohammed’s mysterious disappearance to the police on the 9th of last month.

However, another report hinted the police that they should beam their search light on the paternal grandmother of the deceased, because he was last seen in her company.

He said based on this vital information, detectives were put on red alert to closely monitor the grandmother called Fatima Sarki’s movement.

Also arrested with her were other relations suspected to be her collaborators.

Amore said on interrogation, the grandmother confessed to have been involved in the dastardly act and mentioned one Zhitsu Aliyu whom she said actually slaughtered the boy.

Another accomplice mentioned was one Amina Musa, who was accused of helping to cook the boy’s remains.

All the suspects have been charged to court on a three count charge of criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide and cannibalism.

According to the Commissioner, ”The pots and plates the suspects used in cooking and serving themselves with the said cooked human flesh were recovered and are now exhibits.”

The Commissioner revealed that between the months of August and September this year, a total of 65 raids were carried out within the state and a total of 182 suspects were arrested.

According to him, 39 of them were released after interrogation while 143 have already been charged to court for various offences.

He called on people of the state to join hands with him in waging total war against crime and criminals in the state.

The US Secret Service, the elite unit tasked with protecting the president, has been working to recover from recent scandals involving agents and prostitutes, and drinking on the job.

It now is facing new embarrassment after a man armed with a knife was able to jump the White House fence and enter the first family’s residence.

The following is a fact file about the Secret Service:

– A dual mission –

The Secret Service, which is a 6,500-strong force, was established under the auspices of the US Treasury in 1865 to protect US financial systems, a mission that endures today. It is now tasked with fighting high-tech financial crimes and fraud.

+ The agency’s mandate was expanded after the assassination of former president William McKinley in 1901 to protect the president, vice president and their families on American and foreign soil.

The Secret Service — part of the vast Department of Homeland Security since 2003 — also protects former presidents and vice presidents, their spouses and their children up to 10 years old.

It also watches over presidential candidates (a responsibility introduced after the assassination of senator Robert Kennedy in 1968), foreign leaders and foreign government delegations visiting the United States for official visits or major national or international meetings

– Top-notch training –

Known for their night-vision goggles and earpieces, Secret Service agents are armed. Some work as the president’s bodyguards, and others are positioned as snipers on the White House roof. Some agents are plain clothes officers and others don fancy attire for official receptions.

They are trained at the James Rowley Training Center near Washington, DC, where they learn to shoot close range, emergency first aid, site security protocol and the detection of financial crimes.

– A history of attacks –

President Harry Truman escaped as assassination attempt in 1950, as he was working from Blair House while the White House was undergoing renovations. Agent Leslie Coffelt managed to tackle one of the two would-be assailants, but nevertheless became the only member of the Secret Service killed while protecting a president.

President Ronald Reagan was shot and critically wounded in Washington on March 30, 1981. Special agent Tim McCarthy intervened and suffered serious abdominal injuries.

The assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas prompted a Congressional investigation and Secret Service reform.

An investigation of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the US House of Representatives concluded in 1979 that the Secret Service had not fulfilled its duties, had information that was not efficiently used, that its agents were not adequately trained and that Kennedy was not properly protected.

– Internal scandals –

In 2012, about a dozen agents assigned to protect US President Barack Obama were suspected of hiring prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia ahead of an Americas summit there. In a report released in late 2013, the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general’s office said there was no widespread sexual misconduct among agency employees.

An investigation by Congress found that Secret Service agents had hired strippers and prostitutes in 2011 ahead of an official visit by Obama to El Salvador.

Three agents assigned to protect the president in the Netherlands in March 2014 were sent back to the US after a night of drinking in Amsterdam before Obama’s arrival.

– Security breaches –

A gate-crashing couple snuck into a White House state dinner attended by Obama in November 2009 and managed to have their photo taken with Vice President Joe Biden.

A homeless US army veteran armed with a knife jumped a fence and entered the front door of the White House before he was apprehended. Investigators later found 800 rounds of ammunition in his car. Obama said Monday he was “concerned” by the security breach.

The next day, another man tried to approach the White House on foot and then by car before he was arrested. An investigation has been ordered and safety procedures are under review.

Two young men Friday met their waterloo in a failed attempt to kidnap a lady supposed to be a student of the University of Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

The ‘9ja Oni Baje’ Foundation Int’l disclosed that the failed kidnap attempt which occurred between the hours of 3:30-4:30pm was along the Mary Slessor Avenue very close to the University main gate.

Daily Times gathered that the hoodlums who were beaten to a pulp were intercepted by the angry mob when the lady raised an alarm for rescue.

“One of the thugs were beaten to just a few inches to death while the other one escaped the extremes of the outrage as he ran into the University of Calabar Main Gate’s Security Post,” the foundation said.

It however said, the attention of the Joint Military Task Force/Police in Calabar Municipal were immediately called upon by the University of Calabar Surveillance Unit, who immediately arrested the kidnappers.

You said God revealed things to you. What were they?

T.B Joshua is a messiah. He is not a real human being. He is a special creator from God and it is only God that knows why he chose to use that body. There is likely no man of God who is spiritually endowed. It is only those who are filled with the spirit of God that can understand him and that is why demons tremble when they come close to him. Again, I want to say T.B Joshua is the fulfillment of the promise of God in Mathew 21 verse 42 to 44.

You said God revealed the building collapse to you. Which other revelation has God shown you that has come to pass?

God has shown me many Prophecies like the fall of the Catholic church and the fall of the Pope. I sent these prophecies via mail to SCOAN. I even call the church but nothing tangible has come out of it.

Why did you send it to SCOAN and not the catholic church?

Well, I sent it to SCOAN because I had contact with them and I told some Pastors in Sweden but they did not believe me. I told them about the missing Malaysian airplane but they never listened to me. My Challenge in Sweden is racism.

Have you been able to speak with TB Joshua since Saturday?

No, his security officials were very arrogant. They go as far as pushing and treating you like a dog. They did not want me to talk. I was detained on Sunday around 8am till 9:45pm in a room with no water or food. My family did not know where I was. At 9:45pm, they told me to come back the next day that I will see the man of God. The next day, I was at Gate 5 as agreed. They began to push me here and there and when they saw that some people were attracted to the scene, they carried me into the same room and locked me there. It was when I was released that my wife told me it was someone who saw us when we were walking into the church premises that told her and she began shouting and this led to my release.

Why do you think God sent you instead of somebody close to TB Joshua?

God has sent me to America to empower a man of God. I also got a revelation about President Obama and other pastors in Sweden prayed for him for two weeks.

Have you met TB Joshua in spirit?

I met him in the spirit and in the throne of God.

How?

It takes a spiritual person to understand who this man is. For me, I have to know you in the spirit to confirm whether or not you are a man of God. If TB Joshua were a white man, I believe, we will be paying nothing less than $10,000 to go and visit him. But, here in Nigeria, people don’t believe him and I am giving them another five years and they will know better when this man’s mission will be accomplished.

Are you are saying, he has a mission to be accomplished in five years time and will be taken away like Enorch?

God will take him and everyone will see it. Then, the people will know. But, until then.

Is that a fresh revelation?

It is not like a fresh revelation, but, the consequence of the threatening of his life. He will not be killed but he will suffer.

Are you saying all these to get the man’s attention, perhaps when the story is out, he will call you over?

No, I am not. I spoke with one of the man’s wise men called, “Wise man Daniel and made him understand that he was a prophet of T.B Joshua while I am a prophet of the Almighty God. He apologized immediately because he knew I was not kidding. I told him I will put the power of God to test in his presence so as to know that I am not an ordinary man. God will always rescue TB Joshua from any trouble but I am more concerned of the lives of the people that may perish if no preventive measure is taken. I am not in government but a spiritual leader, and whether people like it or not, I will be going back to my country. I have told God that, this would be my last time in Nigeria and I will not come back.

And what if God sends you to people like Adeboye, Kumuyi among others?

I don’t take a contact of someone I don’t know in the spirit. Many people call themselves men of God but in the real sense they are not. I can’t talk or authenticate someone who I have not met in the spirit.

What will happen if you are not able to see him?

This is my seventh visit to SCOAN and everything God has shown has happened. So, if I can’t get him this time, I will not come back.

Ahead of Sunday, October 5, launch of Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother Africa, organisers have revealed three housemates for season 9 of the show, tagged “Hotshots.” They are Alusa from Kenya, Ellah from Uganda and Butterphly from Zimbabwe.

The show was initially scheduled to commence on the 7th of September, but had to be postponed due to a fire outbreak on Tuesday, September 2., at Sasani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa where the show usually takes place.

According to the organisers, three Big Brother housemates will be introduced on a daily basis starting from the 18th of September. This will be followed by regular updates on social media.

“We are breaking new ground and the website and social media are the perfect platforms to engage with the fans in real-time”, says M-Net Africa Regional Director (West Africa) Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu. “The show will go on, and both fans and housemates are in for some riveting television, coupled with all the drama, intrigue and heart-stopping twists that have long become synonymous with the reality show”.

Kidnappers at rise again:

Calabar- This afternoon a women was rescued in Egta Ogbor, near UNICAL after 4 men kidnapped her! One of the men was beaten to death and the lucky women was retrieved from them. So whr the remaining unlucky 3 kidnappers? Lol

HOW WAS SHE SAVED? In her residence in Goldie, close to Goldie Cemetary where she lives, as she was being winked away some men walking by heard her screaming for help in a car where the 4 hoodloop were inside with her, as they drove to Egta Ogbo traffic hold-up held them down, meanwhile those passers-by were still following them and thats was how they were caught.

POLICE CAME AND TOKE THEM AWAY! MY QUESTION IS WILL THEY BE KILLED OR FREE??

Firstly, it was a Pastor Oyedepo of Winners chapel that was banned from the U.K because of his exploitative style of preaching;

Secondly, it was another famous pastor, Chris Oyakilome being divorced by his wife because of “adultery and unreasonable behaviour”;

Thirdly, the church of a well known prophet, T. B Joshua who sees everything that will happen in the future collapsed with him failing to see that and warn off his members;

Fourthly, it was cash of $9.3 million found in the private jet of the official leader of Nigerian Christians, Ayo Orisejafor, all the way in South Africa.

It looks like God is fed up of people using his name in vain and for selfishness reasons, and is by himself beginning to expose the deception and inner dirty dealings in the highest places of Nigerian Christianity. Still watching.
