OYA.
EVERYBODY, E DON DO.
We're not fighting. This is just a discussion.
Love your neighbour as you love yourself, that's how the world should be.

the message is simple and clear.
''I like you as a good friend, pls don't ever dream of bringing in anything romantic. I'd hate that''.
Has it never occurred to you that some people just value your friendship and hope this kind of situation doesn't come up in the future.
For some. It's a deal breaker.
If she wants you, she'll tell you.
But from her reply, i do not think she does.
So tread carefully, else u could jeopardize ur friendship.

plaetton: He he he.
Funniest one so far.
Here they go again.
The bible is not to discerned with human common sense.
So idiocy is the prefered method of understanding?
First drink the religious or holy ghost drug and then get an understanding?

Funny enough, I agree with you 100%. We non-religious folks always tell you that religious beliefs are creations of the human mind.
The irony, funny but sad, is that no religious person agrees with this, yet,you keep repeating this mantra that god, holy ghost and scriptures are not to be understood with reason based on facts or even common sense.

What a tangled web!

Human philosophy will only have you spinning in a web?
Are you saying that your education was a big waste of time and resources?

Stop quoting scholars.?
I guess we should be quoting holy ghosts?

What are you still doing in this planet since you reject human understanding, human philosophy , education and scholarship?
u do not deserve any time wasted to reply you sensibly.
So i'll summarize it thus: talk of a lost man.
Christianity EtcRe: Who Was The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved? by Wislet(f): 3:00pm On Oct 07, 2012
Billyonaire: Mary Magdalene was Jesus' Loved Disciple, there is no point hiding this obvious truth, because it does not in any way reduce the personality of the founder of Christianity but it can go a long way to put human face on this great King of the Jews. Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ were great friends, and lovers.
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL..
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Daughter To Achebe: We Are Disappointed by Wislet(f): 1:31pm On Oct 07, 2012
DailyNews: Of course na...at least Hausas showed them a bit of what they can do to them in june 12 1992. Despite the fact that the victim even shared the same religious faith with them, they told him TO HELL WITH YOU, like they always tell them that they (Yoruba) are fake ...ims, yet they refuse to learn their lesson.

Nigeria can only witness true progress, development & peace when Northerners stop being domineering & desperate to hold power & to force every other citizens to worship God in their own way. If at all they want to rule themselves forever & practice their religion without interference, let them declare their solemn interest to be their own separate nation & see if Ndigbo won't host a big farewell party for them & even dash them properties to start life with smiley
worse scenario: in all the charade, they want to tie down a whole people that can think for themselves.
How is it ever healthy to ALWAYS be the leader? No one else should have that privilege?
And you want them to cower and serve you like slaves?
And yet shout ONE people?
PoliticsRe: Achebe's Civil War Memoir's Invitation For Fresh War — CPC by Wislet(f): 12:51pm On Oct 07, 2012
CyberG: I am sure you know so little about the war but lies you read on NL. If ojuku says be is prepared for war with the iboz and he will finish the other side quickly, would you still expect apology from the people he planned to finish quickly? Yes, I have the evidence but if you descend to insults and abuse, I will see no need to even have a rational conversation on this issue.
talk rationally dear.
Insults or anything like that was not seen anywhere, don't know why u bring that up.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Daughter To Achebe: We Are Disappointed by Wislet(f): 12:42pm On Oct 07, 2012
DailyNews: Yes dear, I feel so glad seeing you here & not in the romance quarters, lol. It hurts so much.

Remember in the Bible, Christ said: woe unto that one that will betray the son of man & give him to the enemies. He never talked about the people that will kill him, the Phariseas, he dwelled much on the one that will betray Him & sell Him to His killers. It hurts even the spirit realm to betray your friend or loved one.

Ndigbo are so bitter & disappointed with Yorubas for always betraying Ndigbo who cherish & trust them & always stood by them. Not because we lost a war, of course in war someone must lose, but is not over yet cos Nigeria is yet at war- BH, etc are more than war, but this time the enemies will slain themselves while Ndigbo watch in ecstasy smiley
lol. Romance, ehn?
I like politics too.
And yea... That is the crux of the matter.
Wonder why the yoruba(some) think Igbos hate them. They have no clue.
All these fights are just a way to pour to them the pain they feel as a people about the turn of events, especially when they needed them.
If only they can see the truth.
If you can't help your friend, it is better to remain detached from that situation than to aid (your) the enemy.
Because...after all said and done...(your supposed friends)the same people you aided will not bat an eyelid to do away with you if they have to.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Daughter To Achebe: We Are Disappointed by Wislet(f): 12:25pm On Oct 07, 2012
DailyNews: What pains Prof. Achebe & the whole of Ndigbo community is not the fact that we were attacked for wanting to be free from a tribalistic set of ppl tagged a nation, but the fact that the people (Yoruba) we loved, cherished & saw as our true brothers, betrayed us & sold us to our known enemies (The Northerners).

We hardly mention Northerners cos we know them & they know us, we two are good opposites, & we know how to settle our feuds, but the Yorubas hve always betrayed Ndigbo who trust them. Igbos love Yorubas, but Yorubas are traitors by nature; they can be so cunning, & what I see Achebe trying to fore-warn Ndigbo is to always be watchful of Yorubas, to always trust them with caution.

Yorubas can sell their friend for selfish gain. Ojukwu released Awolowo from jail, Awolowo publicly agreed that South-West will secede with South-East, then he turned against Biafra on the die-minute.

The Yorubas always forget that Hausas hate them. They always love to jail their heroes- Awolowo, Abiola, Fella, Soyinka, et al. If not for Ojukwu, the Hausas would have killed Awolowo like they killed Abiola & later consoled them cunningly with OBJ whom they know too well won't ever do anything that will favor the Yorubas solely.

Yorubas if sensible enough, ought to have known their true enemies- the Northerners, but envy against Ndigbo economic progress won't ever let them stop hating Ndigbo.
is this my dailynews?
Thank u for this dear.
The heart of the matter.
When u're betrayed, especially by someone u took so much to heart, the hurt is not easily wiped away. Especially when they insist they were right.
It's painful.
We can only hope that Nigeria has opened her eyes. Let the evolution of many years not be in vain.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Daughter To Achebe: We Are Disappointed by Wislet(f): 12:20pm On Oct 07, 2012
Billyonaire: An average Igbo is a champion of cheating in Business and an average Yoruba is a champion of back-stabbing. We were dragged into that needless civil war, because of the greed of few men. Both tribes should change from their evil ways! The old have given way to the new, in these days and times, the South and the West, should avoid the mistakes of the past and be better men than Ojukwu and Awolowo! The past is history, today is a gift, thats why its called Present.
Thank you my dear.
May we be wise enough to realize that whatever happens to our nation, it is the man on the street that will bear the brunt.
All these people we keep defending have enough money to jet themselves out of the country, while you that is fighting their battle for them will bear the consequences.
Grow up people! And open your eyes while you're at it.
Is statements like this that keeps widening the gap of unionism. We are not one, just aspiring to be. Another thing, the state is already heated up, lets not sweep matters under carpet. When it comes to married coupled, we advice them to settle their differences amicably, so is Nigeria. When matters are swept under the carpet, resentment towards each tribe builds up the more. Lets call a spade a spade. I'm open to mature opinions cos i'm stil a baby in this matter.
nobody is saying sweep issues under the carpet.
Are you people having a meaningful discussion on this thread?
Is fighting blindly and insulting one another the solution to the problem?
When everyone will be ready to dispassionately address the core issues without tribal sentiments, that is when you can say it is time to talk.
PoliticsRe: Achebe's Civil War Memoir's Invitation For Fresh War — CPC by Wislet(f): 11:59am On Oct 07, 2012
Igbos are not cry babies.
When your own people were killed in their millions, its memory alone is heart wrenching.
A simple acknowledgement and possibly an apology for not intervening fast enough when the massacre was going on against a particular people in the north, is enough to defuse any hurt and tears remaining from that time.
Not defences up and down.
We continue to ask: what happened during the war? Were we there?
We can find that answer in our present day with the goings-on in the north. War against a group of people- again.
Is someone doing something about it? Is the government acknowledging to the people that they see what is happening, and do everything in their power to stop it?
When they protest, what is done?
Itt is easy to call them 'ungrateful, troublemakers', when the people involved are not largely your people.
Let us leave sentiments aside pls , and face the situation head on.
When something is bad, say it is bad. Do not colour it even if your brother is involved.
The solution to This nation's problem will be when the right apologies are given/adequate security is given to the same people you want to be a part of the entity Nigeria.
How can they live comfortably when history against their people is being repeated?
And the same ELDERS posing as advisers cannot deem it fit to 'advise' their own people to stop killing innocent citizens.
See how fast they have come out to talk about a book. Yet the same people conveniently ignore that the atrocity going on in their backyard is of greater urgency than a mere book.
May God have mercy on us as a nation.
So much hypocricy!
The past is past.
A book is there to learn and move on...not fight over it.
But the War going on presently at our backyard? Why can't they channel that much energy into a more urgent topic?
Which of them has ever opened their mouth to address it?
God's wrath will not spare the wicked. Because it is wicked to keep silent while people are dying just because they aren't your people.

I AM TIRED OF ALL THESE RANTS.
Pls can someone help us understand by telling us how these e-fights have improved his/her life?
Reason with your heads and not your emotions!
Stop heating up a society that wants to have its peaceful rest.
Igbo or yoruba, we are all one. Wonderful people at that.
Can we hear better news? God help this nation.
The war has come and gone.
It is ANCIENT HISTORY. Do you want to go back to that time?
Move on. Stop these meaningless insults all over the place before other nations wonder if Nigerians are okay in the head.
Read books and move on. You musn't fight over every one of them.

you guys should stop this e-superiority thing. Okay?
Even till 50 yrs from now, you guys would want to be at one another's necks.
Stop this childish behaviour pls.
We are all grown ups.
War was never and will never be a good thing.
Every group is liable to take the side of their fathers and their account of history.
None of us was there to understand things by ourselves.
What we should be doing now is to make sure that history doesn't repeat itself, cos it isn't worth it. Not puffing up like it's something to take pride in.
PEACE everyone. Learn to cultivate PEACE- for yourself and ur children.
Speak peace. Not coming on here to showcase childishness.
Christianity EtcRe: Who Was The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved? by Wislet(f): 7:57am On Oct 07, 2012
@ all those arguing.....
The Bible is not a book to be discerned with the human mind because it's beyond it.
If you want to understand it, why don't you consult the author?
The Holy Spirit is there to help you understand.
Human philosophy will only have you spining in a web.
And NO scholar has the authority of information in it. So u can stop quoting them. They are only humans like you.
yeah she did, except now she served only one man . also i am serious on this note: early christian missionaries who set out to convert the tribal europeans, used to keep p.rostitues with them who traded free se.xual favours to entice converts.

and another serious question that needs be raised is, how did jesus meet this prostitute ?, if not when on a visit to a bro.thel to make use of services. .
be very careful whoever you are.
The Bible is clear: There is only one sin in the world that can not be forgiven.
Do not blaspheme the holy Spirit.

1. Show soft n gentle confidence. Proof to everybody that u r financially secure. They will come running to you.
2. Never forget the God Factor
will you be happy with the one that came 'running' to you? Or the one you hunted?
Men are natural hunters. You cannot be truly satisfied with that one that fell in your lap on sighting your money.

I trust most Nigerians anyway to know scams when they see them.
