Pls educate us how a private jet is an asset? The plane swallows $30,000 on fuel ALONE! Minus d pilot's salary and maintenance costs.
You dey mind the olodo. Something you cant sell for the same price once you move it around the tarmac.

freenature: Its so funny grin that people just talk without knowing the full length of their subject, do you know that pastor Adeboye and Oyedepo are both writers of christian books which does not only sell in Nigeria but in more than 47 countries in the world so how on earth will they not be able to afford them , and also remember that those whom God has used them for also bless them with gifts that comes in various form (money, cars, houses etc )... and also the members that supported them in getting the Jets deem it fit for their pastors to have it to aid their journeys wherever they are going outside the country. .....
JK Rowling sells more books than all Nigerian Pastors combined. She will never buy 4 private jets!

stagger: A typical trip by a man of Bishop's status will go with a pastoral staff of at least 10 persons. He travels worldwide for preaching engagements.

Instead of paying between N300,000 to N1,000,000 in air fares travelling to sometimes three speaking engagements a week (AND THERE WILL BE FOOLS HERE WHO WILL SAY THAT THE AIR FARE IS TOO MUCH ASSUMING THE MEN OF GOD TRAVEL WITH COMMERCIAL ARILINES), the church decides to buy an aircraft to ferry them around.

- No Aero style delays. (my wife once had her flight delayed by Aero for 18 hours!)
- No sudden cancellations like Arik Air did and stranded all their international passengers.
- No poor services or aircraft where the ACs are not working properly.
- No coffins in the sky like Dana Air (where two pastors and their wives died because they flew on a stupidly decrepit plane).

My company once paid $12,000 an hour to Aero for a medical evacuation in Delta state. You think say that money na beans? Wouldn't such money be used to buy a small aircraft or a chopper that can be used for such purpose?

SO what is the joke? If a church can afford to buy an aircraft for its pastoral staff, WHY NOT?
It's actually cheaper to charter than to buy. And, having four aircrafts is taking the pisss. It's not like he lives in the sky.
When you park an aircraft overnight in MM airport hanger around year 2000 cost 200k. So, tell me maintenance, aviation fuel, Pilot salaries, airport taxes and other miscellaneous expenses directly charged to maintaining the fleet. It doesn't make economic sense!
If you say Tuface and Dbanj cant afford a 140 Million house then you obviously dont know what you are talking about. I am no fan of Dbanj but I tell you Dbanj can afford a 3 million USD house easily. He already own houses in Lagos, London and USA. Tuface spent close to 70 Million settling his baby mamas.

Nigerian musicians are not poor at all. Our musicians are in line to make as much money as American musicians in no distant future. Even Nigerian comedians are living large, one of them was reported to have purchased 2 cars for 37 million naira last few weeks, that shows they are doing well.
Have you seen Daddy showkey lately?

Romance › Re: Ways To Avoid Men? by wonlasewonimi: 5:10pm On Sep 27, 2012
Gracious10: Often times men approach me, I try to be respectful, friendly and accommodating. They usually leave their phone numbers to contact them which I never call them. Sometimes they insist to have my number which I give them with hesitation and next thing I see are tons of calls a day which I ignore. Not that am being a snub, I really don't know what they want and refusing to give my number may be seen as being too forward (insinuating that they want r/ship with me) or mean depending on who's involved.

So my question is How's the best way to ignore/avoid men without being disrespectful and rude? I just got out of a r/ship and won't want to date anymore.

Thanks.
What is wrong with this? If you don't have huge amounts of data and/or don't have significant performance needs, why is this a bad idea?
MS Access shouldn't be used as the back end if you deal with sensitive information be it small annd large organisation. I heard a bank was using it. Don't know how far it's true.

Google Oracle virtual box. Read up on it. Download it on your apple machine, you can then install windows 7 on the virtual box. I'm at work, I can't write in detail but it's easy.
