How did you come to this conclusion? Do you think your wife is happy about your loss? Don't you think she wants to be happy and enjoy a good life as well? Why would she put you in debt so that her baby would suffer.
You are going through a difficult time. But you need emotional strength to get through it. Don't complicate matters by making your wife an enemy.

People who go into marriage with the wrong idea of what it entails will have problems. Marriage is not a bed of roses as people think .
When expectations are not met, resentment may sent in leading to abuse, lack of respect and eventually divorce.
But if two people are willing to make it work, communicate effectively and seek to make each other happy, things would be easier. |

Captainrambo2: it was doctor okojie that started this.
If you dont want a PhD leave the class room and get domiciled in the hospital.
There will be others Of Course there will be others. But the medical practice itself is all about experience. Even the best medical Students may not be the best Doctors. Doctors who have had residency have more experience in practice to pass down to students than someone who simply got a pHD. Even residency comes with research as well. |

*It's not about subjectively equating residency to PhD, it's about is it a PhD?*
If it's not and you want to lecture, go earn your PhD, it's not a must.
Else, do your residency and practice alone without lecturing. That's where your foolishness lies. So it's not about the value it brings but the certificate. You are an educated illiterate. This Country won't grow with your likes having a say |

Common sense should tell us that it doesn't work that way. Mtcheeew Must you comment? Do you know what residency is? How do you think taking lectures in the classroom about medicine is the same as actually being in the field practicing medicine and as well taking lectures which is what residency is |

I used to be a male feminists until my ex showed me, almost slipped into depression bro, I am no longer a frea*king feminists whilst noting that I strongly support equality - I am just against the black women’s version of feminism targeted at destroying men!!!
Guys fear girls, always keep receipts and evidence of whatever happen between you both. You are judging by an experience with one pathetic girl. Toxic women have created a dent in the image of feminists. It wasn't supposed to be that bad and is the reason I don't identify as a feminist. I don't need that term to stand my ground as a woman. You seem fair by your idea of equality though. |

Vyolet: Weaker men, do you mean the type of men that are not ready to provide for their families? Do you mean the ones that are cool with their wives being the sole provider financially as well as being homekeepers? Do you mean the ones that are not ready to remain like our forefathers but still want the women to remain like the women of old? I mean the type of men that abandon their wives with kids with the mind that the kids will come looking for them someday after the woman has taken care of them?
If you are referring to these men, YES, they are weak and not fit to live among humans. girrrrrrrl |

Topic is vague and therefore brings interesting perspectives to the idea of feminine strength.
Most traditional men dislike the idea of modern men being more loving and tender towards women. They are quick to term it a weakness. They hope that men stay largely unemotional like their fathers.
A good, smart modern woman knows not to choose them which breeds a level of hatred for the high self esteem, hardworking smart woman. So they are quick to term her feminist and a host of derogatory terms. |

RisenPhoenix: To the op's culture it is a sign of disrespect. The SIL also considers it is a sign of disrespect and is doing it deliberately. The op's husband also considers it a sign of disrespect and is permitting it. The point is that the op feels disrespected in her home. Whether your culture considers it as disrespectful or not is not relevant, nor is it a meaningless complaint. Intelligent and open minded people tend to be accomodating and tolerant and understand that what is considered acceptable in one culture may be very much unacceptable in another. Address the issue not your prejudice.
@skyfornia with your close minded attitude I predict you will soon have no clients. The real illiterate is the one who still doesn't have a multi cultural understanding of the world despite the presence of the internet. so apt. It's a shame that Nigerians are showing pity for these people. When APC realised that there was forgery involved and that the deputy Governor presented forged certificates, why didn't they change the candidate? Why go ahead to give Nigerians a forger as Deputy Governor. This is them taking Nigerians for granted and we deserve better.
The supreme Court has ruled and it is the right judgement.
Let others take a cue from this. |
