An average Nigerian dislikes egalitarianism. They only cry out when they are not on the favoured side. |
Lol... we're so shocked. |
Wow |
Whether bitterly or sweetly, the fact is that you're reacting and that's all she needs. In showbiz, you are your own signboard. Do everything to get attention. |
World power |
He's been doing that. Did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. |
jahguide2268:Ok |
jahguide2268:What makes it war though? |
Has* Played* You* |
Whine? Is your partner whining about something this morning? |
Lol |
What I don't understand is men seeking virgins to marry while the same men praise each other when they sleep with multiple girls. Why are you working against yourselves? |
Biodun556:Abiodun, what is this space for? ![]() |
I think the plan is to put someone else in that position. Presenting Lauretta first, knowing fully well that people will reject her, could be just a strategy to eventually shut the people up when they bring the actual person they intend to put there. |
I thought Agbani Darego made a record as the first (and only) black person to win Miss World. |
OP, I think your title is a bit ambiguous. Someone might be led to believe he supports the regulation. **Edite** Thank for editing |
He changed the constitution to favour his bidding. That's the MO of dictators. They change the constitution and ask the world to mind their business cause it's internal. Though, unlike the some opinion, ECOWAS and AU played far more role in putting him in power than the UN, and ousting the former leader seemed to be the right thing at the moment. There were massive protests when he (the former president) refused to step down even after losing the election. The country was divided and the two groups of loyalists were heading to war. That was what attracted the attention of the outside world. And quite naturally, regardless of the decision taken, they'd sure be a party unfavoured. Again, regardless of what happens, Africans don't trust the white skin (for a good reason). So I'm not surprised people are saying the Europeans forced the president on Ivorians while it was actually the Ivorians that sought help when the former leader refused to go. The good thing is that the same Europeans are asking him to leave now. It's clearly about the constitution than the person. The problem with Africa isn't the leaders. It's rather the mindset of an average African man. Everyone there wants to be somehow superior if not explicitly unequaled. Regardless of how rich an African man is, he'd still not be satisfied until he's richer and more regarded than the people around. Equality and mutual respect is unafrican and this can be seen in all aspects of their life. |
Two female daughters? |
Lordjiggs09:Oh.. ok |
KAM3KAZI:Yup! |
Inventionalgeek:About the Android part: Android isn't necessarily for poor people. A lot of people just prefer Android. The most expensive phones in 2020 run Android (Samsung high end phones are more expensive than Apple high end phones). |
Populous singer? |
blackcherry:I think most are. They are leaving for the US and Canada too. And when they move, they move for good. Lol |
I don't get, the award was presented on the 6th of September, 2019 and reported on Nairaland more than a year after? |
Lol @bounty |
mormoney85:That one is more like marriage. In marriage, papers are signed and two parties must agree before divorce is approved. |
Nice |
What does clapback mean in this context? More like a conversation. |
ezenwajosh:Well, Nigeria is not like a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. It's more like marriage with signed papers. Divorce is usually not feasible until the two parties agree. |
Righteousness89:Well, you hear of deaths like this cause it's not a regular thing. In Nigeria, people die in hundreds in the North and the world hardly hear about them. Generally speaking (without making distinction between the South and the North), Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places to be. |
She found herself in a coffin when she woke and the next thing she did was just to go and cook as if that was some usual stuff? She wasn't terrified? She didn't wonder why and how she ended up in there? I expected more from the writer. |
