men support men ...women support women...
I've seen it on this forum Many times so domt start..
...a woman cheats...youll see the female monikers blaming the man for causing the infidelity...saying only bad husbands have bad wife...it goes both ways...

both gender believes their gender don't just get up and cheat, especially not with a maid and marry her at the end...

Keep telling yourself that.

What many ladies forgets is, at a certain time that man despite all the ladies flocking around him, left them, even disappointed many, make enemies of out some and choose you to be his wife.

The guy saw something in you that he did not see in all the other ladies around. The guy have met, probably slept with countless ladies before now, but specifically sort you out and gave you a ring and publicly declared to the world that, you are the chosen one, his wife and the mother of his children. At that point, no other lady matters much.

Now fast forward to now and start observing the breakdown of your once wonderful union……something must have made this man to do a 180 and start looking at other women…..ask yourself is it possible that, you stop being that woman you once was, that same lady that caught her attention?

Something attracted him to you, is that thing still there, I am not talking about things physical or body features, those one fades with time both in ladies and in guys, I am talking about you the person.

One mistake ladies make is, they see marriage as a goal and the marriage license or wedding as the final act that will keep their man….men on the other hand seeks peace, there is nothing more valuable you could gift your husband that is more than peace….give him peace and he will love you to pieces.

If only you all would say this when it's a woman cheating. But we all know how it goes, "fear women".

They can't use Russian federation assets (especially it's foreign reserved) seized to rebuild Ukraine. They seized assets will be needed for bargaining in the future.

You don't burn bridges they you will eventually need in future. Some Western politicians have mentioned it. But it was down played.

That's why I said, to what extent? What I know for sure is that some of those assets will definitely go into aiding Ukraine either directly or indirectly. Here is what I mean, some of these assets make profits even while they're under the control of the West pending the outcome of the war and any follow-up negotiations like you said. When such assets worth hundreds of billions appreciate in value, the profit is always tangible. Therefore, the key element here is the time between the seizure and the release of these assets (a year is like day in international relations). That's exactly how finance works. Time is everything. Like I said, the West will try to aid Ukraine and they will not do it all from thier pockets.

Except Russia lost the war, Russia won't pay a dime by being forced into it.

The assets are already seized at the moment. It's now a question of, what will the West do with it? Give it all back or give some of it to Ukraine? Tike will tell.

Zelensky said the war already cost Ukraine 550 billion dollars and all Germany could offer is 40m dollars grin
I don talk am, west won't rebuild ukraine

This is Germany though, not the West. Just like Germany, many other nations have either assisted or pledged to assist the country, some contributions are more than that of Germany. It says the donation is for reconstruction but the question of who will eventually rebuild Ukraine is not yet on the table cause the war is still ongoing and stopping it is the priority. When it's time to rebuild Ukraine, no sane person would expect the West to do that from their reserves (at least, not the entire amount). The expectation is rather something similar to what happened after Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. Russian assets seized/frozen by the West are definitely going to play a great role in that. The question is, to what extent? I mean, it's very unlikely that the West would just free all Russian assets and pretend the war never happened, don't you think?

The person above is just ridiculous. I mean, why do most men on this platform always find a way to blame women for everything? Even when a man cheats, they still blame the woman. See the way he's calling out the lady for possibly losing guard as if the man is some animal driven by instincts alone. If it were a lady that got into an amorous relationship with the husband’s driver, y'all would have been dishing out unprintable insults to the entire gender. Now, it's a man, and you just want to give him a soft landing by placing a good deal of the blame on the wife even without knowing the whole story. I'm guessing the last paragraph is to make us believe he's got some sense of objectivity; funny. I don't know where y'all learned that treating men's debauchery with kid gloves is a way of being manly. Sexism is ugly.

It's just so sad that inspite of how objective and realistic you are, you drew the line at the genders, and with women.

Great post, but I am curious to know the parameters used to rank Toronto as such.

Thanks sir.

"Recognized by both the United Nations and the BBC as the most diverse city in the world, Toronto stands apart as a benchmark of multiculturalism. According to official data, over half of the city's residents were born outside of Canada, making it home to nationalities from around the world."

Where in the UK? You're probably referring to England or Ireland. I'll give my personal opinion.

UK Pros:
1) I prefer the UK weather
2) I get more value for my money in the UK malls
3) The UK has more architectural beauty
4) There are more Nigerians in the UK
5) You get more vacation time in the UK
6) The UK is more central and nearer to other countries including Nigeria
7) The currency is higher in the UK
8 ) You don't have to worry about drastic changes in policies and laws when you move from one city to another (except you're moving countries)
9) The English language is enough to take you everywhere in England and Ireland
11) Arguably, the UK has more jobs
12) The UK has a richer culture/history
13) There's a better sense of community in the UK
14) The UK has one standard timezone, so you don't have to worry about time difference while traveling across the country.
15) I'd go to the UK if I'm into administration/management/business.

UK Cons:
1) The UK is tiny compared to Canada. This includes the roads, the houses, etc. Everything just looks small to you the moment you move from Canada to the UK.
2) The UK is more traditional/formal. Things like the school you finished from, the social class of your parents, etc. matter more in the UK. In fact, I find the classism really disturbing.
3) There's more racism and homophobia in the UK. These guys don't fail to let you know you don't belong.
4) The people (especially in London) don't go out of thier to be friendly like you would expect in Canada (not like they're mean though)
5) The landscape here is generally boring
6) There's higher crime rate here

Canada Pros:
1) Salaries are higher in Canada
2) Canada has more natural beauty
3) Transition to citizenship is easier in Canada
4) Canada gives you access to the US economy (you can easily work for US firms as a Canadian PR and you can drive across the border to buy things at cheaper rate if you have your visa)
5) Nature! As the second largest country in the world, Canada has vast open space (the whole of the UK is not up to the size of Ontario, a province in Canada). Outdoor activities and nature appreciation are an integral part of the Canadian lifestyle.
6) People generally more friendly, welcoming and polite in Canada. Immigrants easily feel at home in the country.
7) Canada is less traditional and more progressive.
8 ) It is bilingual. The French culture is strong in Canada. You might end up learning French depending on where you live. Otherwise, you'd surely explore the rich culture.
9) Racism and homophobia are very much lower in Canada
10) Tax is a bit lower in Canada
11) Quality of life is higher in Canada
12) The healthcare system is better structured in Canada (don't be fooled, it comes at a cost).
13) Canada is a hybrid country. You get the typical American lifestyle in places like Toronto (tall class buildings, condos, long tarred roads, etc) and the typical European lifestyle in places like Québec City (Chateaux, gothic architecture, European culinary styles, etc.)
14) Workplace experience is better in Canada (far less beaucratic)
15) Crime rate is less in Canada
16) I'd go to Canada if I'm into Tech/Data science.

Canada Cons:
1) Canada is literally frozen in winter
2) Canada is arguably more expensive
3) The cities are more futuristic and not as beautiful as the classical ones in the UK
4) If not for immigration, Canada, just like the US, generally doesn't really have a very rich culture
5) Population is very low and the country is more laid back (less crime, less fun)
6) If you move from a big city like Lagos, you'd likely get bored in many Canadian cities
7) Due to the size, the country spans across multiple timezones and could be many hours behind Nigeria.

Summary:
It's really about your lifestyle and what works for you. In terms of day to day living, the two countries have a lot in common and they're really great. Canadians are basically English and French people in North America. The cities are named after European cities. Both countries have the same Queen. Both countries are extremely diverse, though Toronto is touted to be the most diverse city in the world. Personally, I find Canada a better place to live and the UK a better place for vacation. You generally have less to worry about in Canada but that means you also have more interesting things to do in the UK.

Foreign Affairs / Re: US Detains Over 5,000 Ukrainians by WoundedLamb: 9:37pm On Apr 20, 2022
The news came from RT and Putin's friends are so willing to accept it as fact. The same people call whatever comes from CNN propaganda. I wonder if they actually recognize propaganda or just decide to call some news propaganda based on whether it appeals to them or not. Only someone who's new to RT wouldn't know it not a news outlet but just an anti-West outfit.

That said, I think most people are confused by the word "detained". They were kept for proceedings, not arrested or kept in captivity. They're gradually allowed passage. The US does not leave its borders open for anyone to walk in, there's a process. The number of prospective refugees, though high, is still not up to the maximum capacity stated by Biden's administration. The country just recently extended temporary protected status for Ukrainians and they intend to take about 100,000 Ukrainians during this crisis.

Romance / Re: I Saw A Guy That Is Dating A Prostitute.... by WoundedLamb: 8:14pm On Apr 19, 2022
Y'all come here to shout as if you fell from heaven yourselves. At the end, you're all the same thing. The only reason scammers, ritualists, robbers, etc. aren't prostitutes is because the demand for male prostitutes isn't as high as that of females. Otherwise, do you really someone who scams people or kills for money has more moral standards than prostitutes? Do you really think the men that patronize these prostitutes have higher moral standards than the prostitutes themselves? The man you saw today, has he not been sleeping around too? People do hideous things for money in Nigeria, both men and women. You can slut-shame women from now till eternity, it doesn't change the fact that it takes two to tango.

Pets / Re: Just Got This Birds by WoundedLamb: 6:08pm On Apr 19, 2022
They're too young for non expert to easily identify but going by the bick structure, they likely feed on nectar or small aquatic animals or insects. You might not be able to provide these things. Any bird that doesn't have seeds and vegetables are its primary diet would be difficult to keep as a pet. Are you even sure they've been "weaned"? What if they can't eat on thier own? Can you make the required formula?

It's advisable not to bring home any animal you can't identify. By taking these ones home, there's a high chance you've cut thier lives short. If you want a bird as a pet, get any of those ones that have been bred over time to live with humans. If you don't want the overhead of keeping parrots, you can go for finches or canaries.

It'll be easier to identify if you state where you got them from.

That time we deh callam (ihe arurala)if you be Igbo you go understand

@bolded, you make it seem as if you actually see them having sex. It's natural to assume the worst about these kids based on apparent lifestyle, but many of them know thier limit and their parents trust them not to stretch it. That's the benefit of sex education. The freedom kids have in the US is mostly accompanied by sex education. Many teens have boyfriends and girlfriends. They party and flirt with one another, but "surprisingly", a good deal of them under the age of 18 still consciously stay away from actual intercourse. The wayward ones aside, many of them still see it as a big deal and a red zone all because of the sex education they receive.

In Nigeria, kids find out things on thier own and they secretly try them out. Adult men even sleep with underage girls and get away with it. And when these girls do it with thier male friends, everyone gathers to scream "girls! That gender!" without caring to find out where it all started. In most cases, they hit these children like animals and somehow believe they've succeeded in changing thier orientation. The whole thing baffles me. Why can't Africans accept the fact that kids need proper sex education to stay safe?
