Politics / Re: “To Hell With Your Food!”- Angry Youths Reject Sanwo Olu’s Feeding Program by wristbangle: 7:26am On Apr 23, 2020
It's a pity that the brain of some Nigerian youths are ridden with poverty scope. Those in this thread not supporting Oworo youths to have turned down the poor palliative measure by Lagos government are one of the problems in this country.

Looking at the food package, one will see that the food content can't feed a toddler let alone an adolescent. Sanwo Olu is stingy and greedy. Lagos generates alot of money from tax, business, etc. Each household can be given N20k without feeling the heat in their pocket.

Crime / Mushin Residents Over-run 1 Million Boys In Ilupeju Amid Lockdown by wristbangle: 8:02am On Apr 21, 2020
On Monday afternoon, residents of Mushin local government countered the notorious robbery unit identified as One Million Boys in Ilupeju area of Lagos State amid the Coronavirus lockdown.

Specifically, the youths in Mushin, both male as well as female charged towards Ilupeju vicinity to defend the neighbourhood. Reports emerged that the infamous coterie reportedly known as One Million Boys were in Ilupeju also to carry out an operation; which would eventually be unsuccessful.

Mushin is renowned as one of the most notorious neighbourhoods in Lagos State, Nigeria. It is largely a congested residential area with inadequate sanitation; and also low-quality housing. Over the years, the crime rate in the vicinity has been appalling; however, on Monday, April 20, they were prepared for the archrival, One Million Boys.

Since the Coronavirus lockdown commenced, the infamous group, One Million Boys have been terrorizing the peace; as well as tranquillity of those who reside in both Lagos and Ogun State. They have instigated chaos as well as pandemonium in various local government areas on the mainland; however, residents of Mushin were armed with matchetes, guns and other dangerous weapons.

According to an eyewitness, Mushin boys marched towards Ilupeju area after it was announced that; members of the infamous gang were in the vicinity.

While several social media users said the notorious group never entered Mushin; others said they said they fled when they saw a large number of youths waiting for them.
Furthermore, an eyewitness tweeted;

“Contrary to the reports going around.

1 million boys didn’t actually advance to attack the Mushin area.

Mushin boys teamed up in their large numbers marched on towards Ilupeju to take them on. They wouldn’t dare to enter Mushin of course.”

Politics / Re: Oil Price Collapses To $11 Per Barrel Amid Covid-19 Pandemic by wristbangle: 8:19pm On Apr 20, 2020
haywire07:
It's hightime Nigeria stopped international sales of oil in full capacity.
Let us channel ample amount of the oil to a reservoir and save up for a better day.
Cut deals with some African countries and use their reservoirs if ours is filled

When we save enough, the Government should declare our refineries ''out of service".
Luckily, Dangote refinery is near completion.

After this Covid -19 pandemic, we begin to sell from our reservoirs for the main time, while the refineries will be under renovation.

And also very importantly is the need to diversify.

Good input but we need to ask ourselves these questions.

1) Where will revenue come from to sustain the economy ( in terms of salaries, infrastructure development, etc) & budget if this is implemented?

2) What will happened to the Naira value?

Diversification is what the economy needs. Agriculture sustained us before oil era and this is what we need to place our focus on.

And the question is, "how many states of the federation have the intensive care unit now and how many states are having theirs ongoing?

We will talk about what the intensive care unit be converted to after the pandemic.

Good job by the FG in regards to the bolded, more efforts should be applied.

Together, we will win this pandemic war.
God heal the world.

We Rise!

The FG has failed woefully in providing palliatives to the vulnerable and masses at large. It's only in the ears we heard they shared N20k to citizens of Lagos and other lockdown states, this is audio by the way! I have never seen a person who received payment alert to this effect, not even a kobo.

Countries whose per capital income and GDP not up to Nigeria are sharing essential goods to cushion hunger among poor citizens. This tales by moonlight of yours can't fly and you know deep down this government is demonic.

I'm not surprised the pastor's wife turned into a runs girl. Sometimes, some Christian bro are the architect of their own downfall. I'll tell you why and how.

You will see a true Christian bro, who has been set apart for God's work looking in the wrong direction for a spouse or obviously going for a runs or wayward girl due to her physical appearance/attraction. And then he tries to change her by telling her to stop wearing this, stop doing that just to make her look perfect and suitable for him. The runs girl too, happy she's seen a permanent mugu, will adjust ( not genuinely born again) and then begin to play along until they.get married. But you know what they say about a leopard that doesn't change its skin, a runs girl will always be a run girl and later in life, she'll easily go back to her old ways because she was never really regenerated in the first place.

It you're truly a born again bro or sis, don't ever make the mistake of pampering sinners into marriage.
Dont try to convert someone because you want to marry them. Let them get converted first of their own accord through God. Then go through sanctification by the Holy spirit ( which is a huge process on it own) before you can say for certain this one will make a good wife and help me actualize my God given purpose in life or help in my ministry.

A lot of young christian bro are deceiving themselves these days but they always reap it in the future. Imagine what that man and his ministry will be going through right now? This could destroy his ministry and even make him lose his life or even eternity.
He probably forced his lifestyle on her but now she's back to what she's good at. Hmm...
A word is enough for the wise. Except if you as a bro or sis was never really born again.

Shalom

A lot of wisdom embedded in this statement and this shows your level of intelligence, exposure and view about things in life. I like you already

snitchbitch:
There are some elements of truth in this post. I read some articles about how they were burning infected Chinese citizens in Wuhan. It was reported that sulphur(iv) oxide was seen on the satellite images of Wuhan town. They were burning the infected to produce electricity. The Chinese are inhumane. May God save us. They have concluded their tests on the people. Their tests were successful. It was meant to control and keep tabs on youth uprising and protests on people in their big towns like hongkong and Beijing. I even heard that xi ji ping hardly goes out too, instead he uses his body doubles. Nothing concerns them if millions die as long as they are still in power.

You truly read that article with patience. The current wave of the pandemic and other consequences were mentioned in it which are being experienced now. Communist governments are barbaric in nature. Abusing human right to achieve their aim is common in their DNA.

Religion / Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome On 5G: Lagos And Abuja Shut By FG For Installation Of 5G by wristbangle: 4:27pm On Apr 07, 2020
menzo4u:
The 5G has some certain risk, and this is normal in the history of any technology invention. The 4G we are currently using, the electricity we enjoy today, even some drugs we use come with their side effects.

This is why every new technology is usually subjected to series of tests before being widely used. This is not the first time a pandemic will happen in human history, linking 5G to a virus is very very wrong, and that is why it is called CONSPIRACY THEORY cos it is an assumption that holds no fact or proof.

According to Pastor Chris, "What killed people in Wuhan, China was not the virus, it was the 5G".

As at April 1, 2020, 5G has not yet been in full use in many countries. Less than 40 countries currently have 5G networks, but there are now confirmed coronavirus cases in 183 countries.

1. For example, Burkina Faso has 364 confirmed cases of Coronavirus with 18 deaths. 5G has not been tested in this country. If Pastor Chris' claims that people died in Wuhan because of 5G and not coronavirus is true. What killed the people in Burkina Faso where there is no presence of 5G?

2. Lesotho is another country which has tested the 5G, and also commenced the full commercial use of 5G. As at today, 7th of April, 2020. Lesotho has not recorded a single case of Coronavirus. Why is it that the 5G that killed people in China has refused to kill people in Lesotho despite its usage over there?

3. Thirdly Yemen is another country with no cases of Coronavirus or death relating to the virus. And 5G has been tested in Yemen. Why is 5G not killing them over there?

If the coronavirus symptoms were the result of 5G exposure, it means people are not supposed to recover until they are moved away from the area where there is 5G. How come people are recovering and they are still in the 5G area?
So many questions begging for answers

This guy resonance my thoughts. Kudos to you bro

APCNig:
Nigeria is teaching Corona Virus a lesson of it's life. While they are dying in thousands in the so called developed nations, Nigeria is treating and discharging formerly infected patients. We are not just giant of Africa, we are giant of the world.

Our leaders are not arrogant like Donald Trump who has continued his boasting, chest beating and spewing trash while Americans have continued to die in thousands. We have recorded TWO DEATHS so far and treated and discharged many that means whatever we are doing about the COVID-19, we are doing it well. So, USA, Italy, Spain, France and others should get book and biro, get table and chairs and sit down in a class while Major General Muhammadu Buhari and our Starboy Babajide Sanwo-Olu teach them CRS 101: Introduction to Crisis Management.

Take it easy and stop the unnecessary boasting.
