Sorry to his family. But this issue of PMB and being taken advantage of. Will those who claim to have businesses among our politicians employ someone like that to manage their businesses? Can they employ Septuagenarians and Octogenarians as managers in their companies? Yet it is either they want to manage Nigeria and/or they want people like these to manage the affairs of the country. How can Atiku, Tinubu, et al who will refuse to employ those older than 30 years in their organizations of less than 1million employees now want Nigerians to employ them to run this country. SmartPolician: Some of them will keep stealing (not armed robbery). They will sell office equipment, and ask for and accept bribes just to survive. Most of them who don't do it don't have the opportunity. You cannot pay a man with family peanuts, expect him not to steal in his office and turn around and say you are fighting corruption. The joke is on you. With high inflation rate, minimum wage should not be less than 100k. What will the private schools teachers steal? Avoid generalisations. Many Nigerians are surviving based on the communal lifestyle and fear/love of God shown towards them. By God's grace, I have received help from Christian brethren when I ask this year as well as from family and that's how I have also done my little to help those around me especially those I see that I can help and those who ask when I have. NIGERIANS ARE GOOD PEOPLE, I PRAY FOR THE DAY THIS NATION/S WILL HAVE GOD-FEARING LEADERS TO HELP HARNESS OUR POTENTIALS. |

BRATISLAVA: I believe there are probably evil forces.
But I do not believe that people getting sick is to spite wealthy family members. I think they are simply selfish and don't want to help, so they claim the sickness is a thing.
I've seen it play out a lot. People let their mothers die, while on trendy vacation abroad, because they just don't want to give them any money because they feel they're trying to gobble all their money. Definitely, there are many instances where people get ill for many reasons and are abandoned by selfish children or family members. This is a seed that always brings its reward as I believe the word of God which says, "Honour your father and mother so that your days may be long on earth." For the situation we are referring to here, I think the OP only expressed his fears about such situation not being the case with his mother. |

BRATISLAVA: How can you believe that thing about people getting sick to drain others?
What if the years of suffering are having their toll? And if they fall sick and are draining, is the way out running away?
Children care too little for their less well off parents nowadays. Me, me, me. Yet these parents were selflessly bringing them up. You'll see a guy lavishly living life to the fullest, once he hears his mother, father or siblings are in need he begins to act like he's under pressure and there's no money. Money is truly the root of all evil.
May we all be rich parents so that our children won't play us for fools. I believe such because it exists sir! You disbelieve such if you disbelieve the existence of evil forces. |

HoopyNg: Accepting Jesus Christ Today and Amending your ways to be at peace with God should be one of your immediate goals.
The Life you are living now is like a vapor. Here today and Gone tomorrow. Your position, Personality or money will not withhold or Hinder when Death knocks.
Anytime! Anyday! you could be Gone..Living In the Consciousness of Eternity is the key. Living a Life Pleasing to GOD in Christ Jesus is the only way. A Life Pleasing to GOD is a Life Lived in JESUS Christ who was crucified for all our sins, so you have no excuse if you don't make heaven, you will only have yourself to blame, because Jesus Christ has already done all that is required, all you need to partake in his finished work is just to accept that you are a sinner and ask him for forgiveness, then ask him to come into your life and be the lord of your life.
Living for Jesus Christ is the Life that Guarantees Heaven after Death. Accept Jesus Christ Today before it is too late... Read John 3:16. |

I have observed it several times in different people.
When they are able to make a breakthrough in life (like getting a good job, graduation, financial breakthroughs),
something bad (like sickness or death) would affect their relatives, either the mom, dad, son, daughter or any close relative.
Please who else has noticed this, and why must it be so? Use godly wisdom and patience to calmly explain while you cannot meet the demands being placed on you as putting off your phone will not solve anything. I hope you are also not living a lifestyle that also sends out the wrong message to all them. For your mum, if possible, move her from the village to where you could watch her closely as she is being used by your uncle. About people getting sick as ways to drain resources is a clear and true situation brought about by ungodly demonic forces. Anything demonic or ungodly can only be faced by/with a godly response/actions. GOD BLESS YOU |
Christianity Etc › Re: This Dream My Fiancee's Mother Had Is Bothering My Fiancee And I. by writeprof(m): 5:39pm On Apr 02, 2021 |
DoubleFingers: N/B: This could be a bit lengthy, but please, read to the end.
I have been making preparations since late last year to settle down with my fiancee. I intend going to collect the marriage list this coming April to kick start the marriage processes.
My girl and I are very compatible in almost all ramifications you can think of. Honestly, she's the perfect definition of a supportive wife, well mannered and loyal to the core, just to say a few.
We now lived in different states, but we've known ourselves and have been seeing/dating each other in the same city between December 2016 and September 2019. I even made her to redeploy during her NYSC in 2018, to be close to me because of my intentions for her.
As usual, we've been praying and trying to seek the face of God to get divine revelation.
So on the 9th of this month (March), my fiancee and her mum visited a priest for normal pre marriage talk/counseling. The priest of course asked my girl some questions about me, which she answered sincerely. The priest then advised my girl and her mum to put everything in God's hand and be praying about it.
About a week later (around 16th or so), my fiancée's mother had a dream where my fiancée's hair was cut in the dream. In trying to understand the dream, my fiancee then called her cousin who is a Reverend, and the cousin told her that the dream is a bad dream, that it means "someone is trying to take her glory."
That dream compelled my fiancee and her mum to have two days midnight prayer (19th and 20th precisely) to cancel any bad dream.
Reaching today, my girl and her mum visited the priest again, to let him know about the dream. The priest then asked my girl about her understand of the dream. My girl said it means "widowhood." But my girl's mum was having a different understanding.
In summary, the priest then asked my girl if she had gotten a divine revelation, as to whether we're meant to be husband and wife. My girl said no has not. Personally, I've fasted and prayed severally to God to show me reasons not to marry my fiancee, but I'm yet to see reasons not to.
Honestly, apart from divine validation which I'm yet to get, I'm yet to see reasons why I shouldn't marry my fiancee. And my girl have been worried since this afternoon, thereby getting me worried also.
Now my questions are:
1.) What does it mean for someone's hair to be cut in a dream?
2.) Is it 100% compulsory that one must get a divine validation to have a peaceful and happy marriage?
Please, your honest contributions will be appreciated.
Mods, please help a brother if this piece isn't in the right section.
And help send it to front page for more response.
Thanks. Marriage was instituted by God and God has not lost interest in His children's marriages at all. That said, the devil is all out to fight against whatever God has interest in, so when you get revelations by yourself or through ministers of God, they are not meant to make you panic but to draw you closer to God for a peaceful resolution. You have been in courtship for some years, I hope you have not given the devil an opportunity to fight against the marriage by being involved in any premarital sex, if there is, confess and repent before your spiritual leader/priest for prayers to be said for you. The Dream: The Christian husband is the Christian wife's glory and covering. You fiancée's hair symbolises this. Thus, it is connected to the marriage. But by the fact of its revelation, it is meant to be prayed against if your hands are clean with God. I want to suggest being the man, a lot lies on you as the future priest of the home, to take time out now to engage in fasting and praying for at least 3 days. Marriage is too serious a business to be trifled with or engaged in without the certainty of God's choice for you. The fact that God has not revealed anything to you on not going ahead is good. But with this dream, pray as you make the preparations prayerfully and as modest as possible, do not allow FEAR to have the upper hand. GOD BLESS YOU |

But the practical lifestyles of parents, and leaders [in all spheres of life] especially those in politics who are at the centre of using governance to make life better for their people, demonstrated through virtues of transparency, honesty, truthfulness, hardwork, sincerity, kindness, diligence, positive reward for hardworking persons etc. YOU CANNOT RE-ORIENTATE ANY YOUTH BY SEMINARS AND SYMPOSIA. |

KenModi: Chai!!
President Buhari departs Nigeria to a foreign country for medical check up.
If you are looking for a sign of a failed government, look no further!
Just imagine the uproar that would happen in the U.S if Joe Biden goes abroad for medical checkup. Just imagine the news headline in the dailymail if Boris Johnson abandons London’s hospitals to rot and chooses to go for checkup abroad. Just imagine the commotion in Russia if Putin goes abroad for medical reason. Just imagine how embarassing the Chinese govt would be if Xi Jinping leaves the hospitals in Beijing to decay and goes abroad for medical checkup.
But in Nigeria, would continue to watch as the hospitals across the country including the nations’s capital Abuja rot and decay; ans whenever he has a headache, he jets out to the U.K to get medical diagnosis, treatment and then relax till whenever he feels like coming back to the country.
The president of Nigeria, can even go to the U.K and spend six months chilling and nothing would happen because the citizens are useless; people who despite the glaring suffering they were experiencing trooped out in their numbers at the last general election and voted to continue suffering.
Nigerians I ask, shame no dey us?? Even if we no get shame, we no still get sense join??
They are already preparing Tinubu to succeed him. A man who is one of the main contributors to rot and decay in the country. And I trust Nigerians, the majority of us would campaign and vote for him.
Nigerians, we think we are suffering now, make Tinubu enter Aso Rock, we go suffer ennn!! Toll gate go full everywhere from state to state, with the money going into Tinubu’s account and they would call it “internally generated revenue”.
I have said it and would say it again and again, we would continue to suffer in this country as long as we continue to vote the same people from APC and PDP repeatedly. Nigerians our mumu never do. No one suffers and smiles better than Nigerians. Sadly, this is not just a Nigerian problem but the African problem. I wonder why the developed world would ever take Africa serious. |
