Butterflyleo: I carefully thought about who the owner of the 70m pounds which was returned is and the only one that comes to mind is the malabu scandal involving GEJ, Diezani and Dan Etete.
Italy asked UK to freeze $81 million dollars which is a part of the main looted money and linked to Dan Etete.
Converted to pounds, that must be the money.
GEJ and his looting crew.
I spit on GEJ, PDP and all they represent.
Looting our common wealth with so much impunity. As repugnant as the actions of many Nigerian politicians, don't deceive yourself that GEJ govt starting the looting spree. I was doing some cleanup this morning and stumbled on these TELL magazines: TELL July 12, 1999 'How the Milads Plundered The States'; April 19 2004, 'Cartels of Fraud'; June 7, 2004 ' Prodigal Governors: How they Squander Federal Allocations'. A lot is still being plundered even now. Ask each member of the NASS to show you evidence of constituency projects. |

It's the generation- children- produced by those of them with this mindset that I pity. This warp view of getting children from different women is a strong demonic attempt to destroy the African values attached to marriage. I can't imagine the society peopled only by the children of this Timaya and his likes... It will be a kingdom of man eat man. MAY GOD HELP THOSE WHO SEE THEM AS MENTORS! |

Analytic and factual piece. Though I think the title is not very appropriate. The depth of understanding about the economies of the 3 broad regions of Nigeria is an eye-opener that sets me thinking. The analysis of the welfare packages and what they portend for the nation is troubling really because of the elements of truth I see in it. The more reason this country should be restructured for each regions to practise and utilise their unique abilities and talents to develop the nation. MAY GOD HELP NIGERIA! |

tomakint: You can imagine just take a look at the N6 billion to cater for feeding of the police are they feeding the whole of West African Police?
on inec's budget...meals for police
Let's do some Maths people.
N6,000,000,000 / N1,000 per meal = 6,000,000 meals.
6,000,000 meals / 2 days of elections = 3,000,000 policemen
Let's assume the policemen are fed twice daily. That means: 3,000,000 / 2 meals = 1,500,000 policemen.
Now the question is: Is INEC deploying up to 1,500,000 policemen for the 2019 elections? Because the last time I checked, Nigeria has about 300,000 cops in employment. The rest will go for overhead cost and 10 percenters to grease the wheel for the release of the money. After all the potholes and traffic jam on its way, 4-5 billion out of the 6b may eventually arrive in INEC's acct. |

Tribute to Barr Halima Buhari - (PRESIDENT BUHARI'S DAUGHTER)- A hard working Nigerian Youth
She was last in her class in UK where she tried so hard to study Law.
Twice She failed to pass The Nigeria Law School exams required to qualify her for Legal practice in Nigeria.
But when her father became president, she was granted a free pass in the Nigerian Law School and was called to bar almost 3yrs ago...
Now she has been given a Board member Position at NNPC earning over N7-million Naira per month amongst other fringe benefits as the President's daughter while ordinary Nigerians who study hard and make good grades in schools at home and abroad go years without job or have lost their jobs and livelihoods under her father's direct supervision, and others who are lucky, receive (#30,000 N-Power) monthly for 24months or less and the same people are the ones shouting "Sai-Baba Buhari' while rewarding him with "Mr. integrity" Title.
Nigeria is a SAD case...
Dauda Hassan if it's true. Then it's a sad and heartrending reality we must face as the gulf widens between the governed/masses and the leaders. |

Dickson in bayelsa state have said it times without number that Niger delta state are all pdp states. let us see how it unfold. Let's hope the ND/SS PDP put its house in order. My observation was confirmed recently that the APC govt has decided to pick Akwa Ibom/Cross River as their partners/collaborators in the 'settlement' of the South South so Akpabio issue fits in. |

Ofodirinwa: They're also regulated in Imo state. If they enter a community they have to forfeit their weapons and the locals will either walk the cows through the 'route' or will send them back where the came from if the community doesn't want them around (most don't). since vigilantes started doing their jobs, they have been scarce that's good to hear. I hope Imo's own is as effective as Anambra because just last week, the herd of cows made us to stop and wait along Onitsha-Owerri expressway. |
