AdornHomes: AdornHomes:As fast as they are selling, how come the number of units left are increasing? Is the estate expanding or do you have your numbers wrong? What title documents does an outright purchaser get? |
ihebrooke:This one is really lovely. Good job. In the coming months, you should get a ring from me. Meanwhile, I am staying tuned to this thread. |
Johnie, thanks for your effort. Very much appreciated. |
Good job Johnie. You've gat mail. Cheers. |
johnie:Good job Johnie. Sorry for the delay in responding. Folks, the pix below were graciously provided by Johnie. Phuck NL, the torture ends huh?

Please wats the current exchange rate for GBP. Thanks. |
@Ihebrooke So amazingly rare is the maturity you have shown on this thread. On top of that, your designs are simply marvellous! Keep it up, you will go places. A couple of questions, please pardon my ignorance: I am guessing you are an Architect or "designer", is that right? You show exterior 3D views, but when it comes to dimensioning the interior (e.g. deciding how big the kitchen and bathrooms etc will be to fit into the overall external limits of the building) are you able to provide those too or is that for another professional? Are you also able to provide internal 3d views? Kip on rockin! |
It is such a shame that the entire property section has been taken over, almost entirely, by adverts. It does not add any value for any agent to advertise his properties individually in separate threads - why not group them instead? Imagine, today one agent posted more than 20 separate threads advertising different properties. What stops him from posting all those adverts, all of them together, in just one thread at once? Agreed, agents are desperate to sell and there are fewer and fewer buyers out there, but why is it that when you have one agent that has 10 properties to market, he goes ahead to create 10 separate threads, one for each property? Can a single thread not be created by that agent and all his properties be listed there instead of SPAMING the entire property section? If you advertise a group of properties in one thread, you can easily update the thread if one property (out of the group) is subsequently sold or whatever. And we get to reduce the number of adverts which are crowding out the other non-advert threads in the property section. If agents group their adverts, it will make life easier for the mods, forum members and the agents/advertisers themselves. It will also save Seun disk space and bandwidth. Also I support the OP's request for sub-boards. I particularly like coolguyz's suggestion. Lawyer/Seun abeg please grant us our wish and create sub-boards in the property section and also encourage each agent to post all his adverts in a single threads rather than in multiple threads. These adverts have become an almost unbearable nuisance. Thank you and kip on rockin! |

Ihebrooke, Isn't it the norm in Nigeria to have high fences? I noticed the fences for your duplexes are "relatively low" with "transparent" upper sections. Beautiful designs though. |
johnie:Not heard from him, but a look at his profile page shows he was active on Nairaland as recently as yesterday (Friday) morning. I am sure he is fine. |
johnie:Johnie, kindly forward to "Afroquest at Yahoo dot com", please ignore spaces in the email address. I will convert to a smaller file format (PNG?) and upload . . . that is if you are still having probs with your laptop. Have a good weekend. Cheers |

axeman85:I agree with you more or less. However, I think that if the road is expanded (more lanes), as they have said they would, then the traffic constraint will be limited to a few metres to the toll gates. For me, progress has been too slow - I heard they are still struggling to complete a 6 km stretch from the Exxon end. May God help us. |

orin1981:How do you guys think this charge will be levied? If for example it is NGN 50, will it be "per pass" or "per day" for a given private car? johnie:Worry not, Johnie. I am sure folks lurk around, read and enjoy your exchanges with Megastu (as I always do). It is just that some of us have no clue what is happening in that axis . . . diaspora, did I hear you say? . . . and that is even the more reason why such a thread is needed. Will gladly chip in whenever I can. Kip on rockin! |
gowaga68:Thanks for the rates. . . . regarding your lost id, probably best if you PM Seun or one of the other super-mods. Kip on rockin! |
Whats your email please? |
gowaga68:Thanks Gowaga. Have a great weekend too. |
ric123:You are welcome. |
S.O.L:@S.O.L Is this Speed Of Light? |
Looks like the shyt has hit the fan, as far as interest rated on FD are concerned in Nigeria. I've been to a few banks and all are offering single digit rates, despite the fact that I am dangling over 10 million before them. I was told that rates have been crashing over the last month and the trend is likely to continue. Those of you who managed to fix at higher rates should count yourselves lucky. Perhaps when your current fixes mature, you will be hit with the lower rates . . . that is if you decide to continue fixing. Seems I would have to consider other options apart from FD afterall. @rof Thanks for your help anyways. |
Just to announce to folks that, after months and months of foot dragging, I finally decided to open a diamond reach account. Good first impression, took about a week from application to first online banking logon. Thats a lot better than the experience of folks like NBA and Etin. Expecting my ATM cards this week (i.e 2 weeks from start of application). |
Nick1:I dont know about UBARemit, but as for the NSE website, I noticed it hardly works (read doesn't work) at weekends. If you want to use the site, check during weekdays, say evenings. |
gowaga68:Hmm, aboki. It is not good for those (of us) whose primary earnings are in Sterling and primary expenses are in Naira! It is not good for those having a huge stash of Sterling, who were thinking about changing it to Naira - and had already budgeted how much it would be, bla, bla, bla. You feel me shey? Aside from the selfish reasons above, weakening Sterling (and dollar) will make imports cheaper, which will make it more attractive to buy foreign products which is bad for local manufacturers. It will also encourage "expatriation" of funds from Naira to Sterling which will worsen the liquidity squeeze in our Economy. DOnt also forget that our major source of revenue is oil, which is sold in USD. If the naira's value strengthens too much, oil revenue (in Naira terms) will decline. gowaga68:Good man. |
Apologies to all those who requested this form from me who I didnt respond to promptly or eventually. I dont visit the travel section regularly so I tend to find out about the request rather belatedly. I never dreamt so many people would be wanting this form and I dont think this request/response approach is the most efficient way of sharing it. What I am going to do is to upload the form onto a shared file hosting service and paste the link here, so that anybody can download it for themselves, without having to come here to ask for it from me, OAMJ or indeed anyone else. So here is the link to the (zipped) file, uploaded to my esnips space. Download from the link. http://hotfile.com/dl/30608528/dd8bc35/NPF-Character-Report-Form.zip.html OR http://www.esnips.com/doc/14880079-4421-4a77-bb67-11a978909a2c/NPF-Character-Report-Form Saying thanks won't hurt. Cheers and kip on rockin! |
3ndy:My sister, done. Check your email box. Cheers. |
