LOL The title sounds more like a threat! |
saaron:Biafra is dead, yet they've taken pains to employ an army of misfits whose only job online seems to be seeking out Biafran and Igbo threads to comment on! Biafra is dead, yet they send their fulani army to come down to the Alaigbo to spill innocent blood! Biafra is dead, yet they rush to court to bully the judge into making dubious rulings proscribing IPOB and the Biafran flag! Biafra is dead indeed! ![]() |
prolog2:Benin Republic was once a part of the Oyo Empire, Niger was once a part of the Sokoto Caliphate, Georgia was once part of the Russian Federation, hell...even Queen Victoria was once Empress of India, so what's your point? ![]() |
Adelaide2:He does bear a striking resemblance to a younger Chimaroke Nnamani. |
SmartPolician:It's supposed to be our own 'Agbara industrial estate', but unlike Agbara that Obasanjo linked up with a dedicated gas supply, Emene doesn't have any constant power supply. Besides being close to Lagos, this is another reason Agbara attracts many FDIs and multinational corporations. Ordinarily, the state Governors Enugu has had since 1999, together with other Igbo elite and organisations should have mounted pressure on the central gov't to give Emene the same treatment given to Agbara, but since they're near useless, lack vision and don't have a Igbo-centric outlook, nothing happened! As we speak the federal gov't is doing the same thing trying to link up Kano with gas, yet it hasn't occurred to our useless elite (esp' the ones in APC) to put pressure on Abuja to include Emene, Onitsha, Nnewi and Aba in the plan; to be done same time as the one in far away Kano...not later! |
Handsomegod:Ugwuanyi is a little too dull for my liking. He's not bullish and aggressive enough regarding development of Enugu city and making it a world-class destination for business and tourism. Maybe as some claim, he's facing other towns and zones in the state and so doesn't have enough to spend on the capital, but besides those new roads i saw built in Nsukka, i haven't seen anywhere else the money could have gone. We need to see at least one world-class project built in Enugu city that would define his tenure as Governor. It could be funded either solely by the gov't, jointly in a PPP arrangement, or solely by private finance. Areas of investment could be: upgrading the AIIA local/int'l terminals, expanding the runway while adding a taxiway; rebuilding Presidential Hotel, finishing the int'l conference centre, building a park (Enugu still doesn't have a park in the mould of the millenium park, Abuja), or investing in healthcare (the diagnostic centre is yet to be finished but it's a good place to start). The HELIU estate being built looks promising, but one is yet to get an idea of what will be delivered, or is it gonna be yet another regular unserviced housing estate like we already have all over the SE? |
He's an intelligent man, and ordinarily could have relied on his intelligence and antecedents to drive his political fortunes. But this is Nigeria, where intelligence and good antecedents, though desirable, are not enough to succeed in politics....you need to have a powerful godfather that's in control of 'the streets' and political structures at either the state, regional or national level, and who equally has the billions to back it up! ![]() A 'dark horse' like Macron could never win the presidential elections in Nigeria...lai lai! |
Yyeske:What the f/uck are you on about? Is it the same Anambra that joined in the stay-at-home directive called by IPOB? The same Anambra that saw huge crowds come out to welcome Mazi Kanu? I will always place the interest of the generality of Ndigbo first before talking of state this...governor that, constructs of 'one Nigeria' fashioned to divide and hold us down as a people! Look where the potentially great Igbo race is today in your bloody 'one Nigeria' (Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia, Delta-Igbo and Rivers-Igbo) and compare our fortunes to those who at best are supposed to be our equals: Rwanda, Botswana, Ghana, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Dubai, etc. Look where we are in comparison to these other great nations, and come back to tell me 'one Nigeria' hasn't held us down and destroyed what it means to be Igbo! Alaigbo should be running neck-and-neck with these countries, or even surpassing their developmental efforts, but instead we're stuck in 'one Nigeria' to be measuring dic/ks with other potentially great but equally unfortunate races like the Yoruba who ordinarily should also be competing with the likes of those great nations mentioned earlier! We're now reduced as a people to be celebrating mediocrity like street lights and roads when instead we should be reaching for the stars! Gidgiddy made a salient point when he stated that the absence of justice and fairness in Nigeria legitimises IPOBs agitation, and all you could respond was to essentially say that 'might is right'....mocking the fact that Mazi Kanu has been declared missing and that there's fuc/k all we concerned individuals can do about it! No true Igbo man would take the position you've taken concerning our fight for emancipation in 'one Nigeria' and the IPOB issue....no true Igbo man would be such a kiss-arsse Buhari/Fulani lover to the detriment of his people the way you've been carrying on on this forum! You're a fraud! |
Americans and their cowboy, gung ho attitude. This was how they claimed Saddam Hussain had chemical weapons, we all know how that ended. How can we be certain someone else didn't carry out this chemical attack on civilians hoping the west will accuse Assad and help them weaken him. The wests intervention in the middle east since the time of Bush Jnr is nothing but an unmitigated disaster. |
Yyeske:See this Igbo wannabe making noise about Anambra doing this and that with IPOB. I'm clued up to your tactics though.....try to cause division among Ndigbo by making it a Ipob-vs-Anambra thing! I've always suspected you and that vile creature called chino (and all his other alternate monikers) are cut from the rag. Pathetic Buhari/Fulani arsse kisser! |
slimfit1:You haven't insulted anyone. It's the painful truth. For more than 50 years, the Niger Delta has been the goose that lays the golden egg for Nigeria, yet take a look at their cities and developmental indices and see if it compares with say the gulf states that are equally endowed! Nigeria has been a curse on these people yet they're too daft to realise it! Nnamdi kanus' agitation gave them a window of opportunity to assert themselves, yet they turned around and screamed in his face, "you want our oyel....Igbos should leave us the f/uck alone and go do Biafra with only their 5 SE states.....one Nigeria carry go jor"! Abuja is now very adept at confusing them with all sorts of tokenisms and gimmicks like NDDC, Niger Delta Minsitry and 13% derivation, yet where has all this got them? |
gidgiddy:They know what they're doing. Some in the judiciary are in cahoots with Buhari, and they're acting out the script he wrote for them. |
Ofodirinwa:Thank you. It's all this uncoordinated and mad rush to develop that has left our land stripped of its lush vegetation, leaving it exposed to the threat of erosion. |
Looks like doc didn't get the memo! Just imagine the temerity of this man to want to drag presidential ticket with the anointed one! Him no dey look face? |
FOLYKAZE:Ndigbo are quite aware of the fact that GEJ didn't get as much done as we hoped he would, but any shortcomings on his part wasn't done out of malice unlike the present case with Buhari vis-a-vis Ndigbo! Gej did more for other regions (esp' the North), but guess what, if tomorrow Ndigbo are asked to choose between him and Buhari, most of us will overwhelmingly pick GEJ in a heartbeat! Maybe if you lot didn't distract him with your boko haram he would have got round to having the time and money to do more for the SE. With the way the fortunes of AIIA Enugu were improving during GEJs tenure, i'm sure if he had won a second term in office the international gateway to the SE wouldn't be in the parlous state its in today! The new terminal there is also thanks to his gov't. GEJ wasn't as firm as we would have wanted him to be, this was one of the reasons the issue with Prof Nnajis' power plant dragged on for as long as it did! Likewise the issues of Anambra oil producing status and the lingering unresolved boundary issues with Kogi and Enugu, etc. You have reduced the way a gov't is perceived by a people (whether favourably or unfavourably) to material things......naira and kobo, and this is why you wonder why Ndigbo still can't stand that man Buhari. Of course the fact many like me think he's only starting to give the SE attention at this 11th hour due to the upcoming presidential elections is a matter for another day. You think it's acceptable that one of the tripods on which Nigeria stands is completely left out of heading all military, paramilitary and security outfits in the country? You think it's ok to declare that since a region gave you only 5% votes, that you'll treat them differently from those that gave you 97%? A wise president would have used the first opportunity to try and win them over (like GEJ tried to do in the North) not antagonise them further and make them realise they're misgivings about you were right all along! |
See them dashing in with their jars of vaseline in hand to w'ank all over this thread. It's funny how these hardcore Igbo haters are so desperate to link at least one project in the SE to their god. It's pathetic that three years after being sworn in to office, this is all he has to show....a couple of concrete pillars! Meanwhile, the Kaduna-Abuja rail line started by GEj is signed, sealed and delivered; the Lagos-Ibadan rail line is being constructed at the speed of light; the Abuja metroline started by GEJ is almost complete; a contract will soon be signed to deliver gas to Kano from Ajaokuta while Onitsha and Nnewi that are practically sitting on gas are bypassed; Kano, Kaduna and Abuja airports are being done up nicely for international operations; dry ports are being opened all over the North, and yet Ndigbo should jump for joy over a couple of concrete pillars that prove according to these Igbo haters that Buhari loves Ndigbo and is treating us fairly and on equal terms with others! |
deomelllo:Dude, we're still waiting for more. I said ten pages, and you've barely done two! Post more.....try and do two pages in one fell swoop! |
yarimo:Is it the same Nigerian courts that months ago said IPOB wasn't contravening any laws, only to change their mind later in order to help their master Buhari carry out his plan of tagging IPOB as terrorists? Besides, the army and the executive are all in bed together...all murderous birds of the same feather. |
Cooly100:Word! |
Good...can't wait! |
deomelllo:Nice to see you know i control you! I pull the chain and you flush like the little piece of s'hit you are! Still 9 more pages to go for today, now post more...i want more! |
Fela....OBJs nemesis! |
salam1:Do you really know what 'ethnic cleansing' means? At best, all you can say of Kaduna Nzeogwu and his co-conspirators is that they're murderers.....what has this got to do with Ndigbo as a race? On the other hand, the tens of thousands of Ndigbo and other ethnic groups slaughtered in the North since the 50s by baying hordes of bloodthirsty muslim fanatics.....now that's ethnic cleansing! Be corrected. |
Blue3k:Seems like you're enjoying this? |
deomelllo:We're well on our way...still 9 more pages slimeball! |
BetaThings:So this is your 'smoking gun' that justifies murdering Mazi Kanu and hundreds of other Igbo youth? 1st clip: i don't know the circumstances surrounding his statement in this clip. Probably he was emphasising the fact that the big Yoruba owned pentecostal churches in the country hardly ever invest or build any structures like universities or hospitals in the SE as they do in the SW. One may take exception to his strong language (which by the way was targeted at his kinsfolk), but there's a bit of truth in the accusation. At least the SE sees some physical benefit from its close links to the Catholic and Anglican churches. Besides, i'm equally aware Mazi Kanu apologised for his strong language towards Ndi-Yoruba when Fani-Kayode and Governor Fayose reached out to him when he was granted bail. 2nd clip: i've seen this one before. What makes you think they're members of IPOB and not just Igbo youth furious at the constant murdering of their kinsmen by the Buhari owned Fulani army.....murders which you and your ilk support and take delight in. Or you expect no kind of reaction following all the wickedness you show us? Any follow-up clips showing the number of Ndi Hausa killed by these youth? |
chris31:As much as i respect Zik, he's part of the reason we are where we are today (the stupid Nzeogwu coup being the major reason). While Awo and the Sadauna where busy putting their people first and playing regional politics, Zik on the other hand was busy carrying 'one Nigeria' for head, erroneously thinking he could mould a true nation out of the various disparate units. There's this clip AIT normally shows when Zik declares he doesn't care who becomes Prime Minister after independence, that so long as Nigeria is free he'd be satisfied. I always shake my head in disappointment when it's shown. |
Cooly100:No be me talk am. This was said 49 years ago by no less a person than the US Secretary of State! |
buhariguy:It's quite telling that you find it funny...the fact that Nnamdi Kanu may have been murdered on the instructions of your man Buhari. Though i reckon people like you are a necessary evil for the few naive Ndigbo that still think they're safe and will be treated fairly in this contraption you call a nation! The same malevolent forces that starved our kinsmen and targeted defenceless non-combatants during the uncivil war are still very much with us today, but some gullible Igbo are too comfortable and relaxed to notice! |
spiritedtete:You're not making any sense! If Kanu wasn't hitting the right notes how come Buhari (representing the core muslim northernern oligarchs that believe the country belongs to them) panicked and sent his murderous military after him? He got so spooked to the extent of hastily arranging for the Nigerian judiciary that's firmly under his control to declare IPOB a terrorist organization. This was done in the erroneous belief that he's covering his arsse just in case the ICC come calling! So much for a fair and just Nigerian judiciary. The Nigerian version of the blindfolded lady holding a sword and the scales of justice does things a bit differently in that she always takes a second to lift her blindfold and take a quick peek before administering justice.....and woe betide the accused standing before her if he/she happens to be a 'inyamiri IPOB miscreant'....they'd regret the day they were born! The fact that said accused would in all likelihood be innocent of all charges is totally besides the point....nothing must be allowed to upset the 'one Nigeria' gravy-train arrangement that's been set up solely for the benefit of a section of the country! |
deomelllo:You don tire? Post more.....i want at least 10 pages for today. Anuofia! |
Yyeske:Why should i when you never accorded her such a privilege to begin with? You first butted in with your unsolicited smart-arsse comment so you be prepared to have someone else put you in your place! |
