I was not sleeping either and i am not an Ibo man so no reason joining IPOB. I am only speaking for average Nigerians who are tired of elite class eunisam: |
For the very fist time i listened to Kanu and he made a valid points. Our elite class had taken us for granted and their sons and daughter are now taking us for granted and now is the time for every Nigerians to raise up and fight for what is left before nothing is left to fight for. Kanu has begin to awaken the spirit of average Nigerians irrespective if you are Igbo or Yoruba. My only prayer is Nigeria should divide without war cos war will take us back 50 years. |
Petroleum products still move by road for short distance but freight moving are regular and that's is why there is less accident. dannytoe: |
The reality of ground is staggering. APC has performed so bad that the worst of PDP years is better than the best of APC. Buhari has done completely opposite of what he promise that even his Northern allies can't help but confess to his failure. Hunger knows no regions and you forget ethnicity in the face of hunger. APC might still be able to salvage the situation but the look of things spell doom for them and they are on their way to lose 2019 election. |
APC chose to ignore reality on ground and concentrate on PDP. PDP is never their problem but numerous election promises that are yet to be fulfill. Average Nigerians does not care about party in government as much as the economy is OK but APC makes it worse off directly and indirectly. Nigeria problem has gone beyond what propaganda can fix and APC better get it house together or it will be a goner in 2019 |
I will like to meet and possibly chat with Nigerians in Virginia. I don't do Nigerian churches and it's hard to come by Nigerians around here. |
I am not a fan of Fayose but he have point. Buhari have children schooling abroad and goes to London for common ear treatment, only to claim he is a modest person, what will he do if he is flamboyant? Everything about Buhari is contradictory. He accused GEJ of wasting tax payers money on private jet while he is wasting foreign exchange just to pay parking fee while the jet gather dust in London. He accused Yaradua of not resigning due to his illness while is he London sick and the economy is on autopilot. Buhari will end up being the worst president Nigeria ever have.... NwaAmaikpe: |
What is salesmanship? Commerce should be merged with economics. Our curriculum needs to be overhaul to meet 21th century educational demands |
I took time to read your write up but could not make sense of it. Your write up has nothing to do with the post and you made the worse thing worse off by losing sanity and cursing people old enough to be your father and grandfather. You may have reason to be against Afenifere but you still need to pass your point across with sanity. Learn to be civil while you make your point.. lilytender: |
Cute profile pic.. What happen to your left eye? fastgyal: |
Judiciary is not an extention of executive arm of government and not meant to do the biding of the executive. EFFC and executive arm of government in APC led administration always crucify anybody perceive to be corrupt without doing their diligent home work and get their fact right and end up losing the case because all they care about is scoring political point. GavelSlam: |
I'm against calling Nigeria names but I can't help but think see stuff like this. We want FDI but act like we are in store age. who is going to want to invest in our country if we still have cow and camel in streets? hmmm.. |
I know you're a learned person but I beg to disagree with you on your assumption. First, APC is not a selling brand right now except they turn around and fix things ASAP. As things stand right now in Nigeria, PDP will win even in APC stronghold because of APC performance has been awful. The new part new structure in ground before talking about winning election and we are yet to see that. TonyeBarcanista: |
Hope so too but I find it difficult to believe how APC blow the good will people gave them in less than 2 years. APC candidate will have a difficult job to do in 2019 in selling his manifesto to the people because of this present administration is a let down. ivandragon: |
I agreed with you partially. GEJ is never a saint and has his numerous fault but he is the only one in PDP now that command respect from North to East, South to West and PDP will only be a viable opposition if GEJ chaimpion the cause of fixing the broken PDP ivandragon: |
Nobody or a politician is a saint either. I'm not a fan of GEJ but he has yet to be convicted of any currupt case in any court of law. He is too soft but stealing public funds might not be among his doing. Tell me how many properties he owned in Nigeria or how many houses he owned outside of Nigeria and I will accept he is corrupt. Average Nigerians had seen beyond APC propaganda and not again will those propaganda work out for APC in winning election cos of the abysmal performance in government. GEJ is the only person is PDP for now who can command respect across board and position the party. PDP does not necessarily need to win election in 2019 but a stronger opposition is good for our democracy and the way APC is performing now, Labour party stand a better chance to win an election in Nigeria ivandragon: |
Mercedes Benz is more expensive than Toyota anywhere in the world and if you can't afford Toyota, then you have no business pricing Mercedes. Honda and Toyota are on the same price arrange cos of their durability jaychubi: |
Common sense should tell you that they claimed to have found evidence of the looting. Witnesses can lie but fact and figures does not lie.. As much as I do not support PDP led government, APC and Buhari has been nothing but a total failure. Propaganda stopped working a while ago and an average Nigerian can see APC led government has nothing to offer and our economy is on autopilot. blackpanda: |
He must be power drunk not to resign and concentrate on his health. Anybody can get sick but when your sickness is persistent, then it's time to trow in the towel and concentrate more on his health. |
It's not wishful thinking. I'm telling you what I know. He can only get the maximum if the judge presiding his case is racist. He you ever heard about 3 strike? Google it and you will understand what that means in State judicial system though 3 strike has been long gone

|
I am not a lawyer but I am familiar with United States justice system. If found guilty of all the counts, all the sentences will run simultaneously. In sentencing a criminal United States, the judge consider a lot of things and first among it is if the person is a first offender or repeated offender, if the criminal is a first offender, the Judge give you the minimum keeping in mind or hopefully you will return because keeping in prison for a long time is it drain on taxpayers money. uote author=abbey621 post=57233772] I don't think you are familiar with the U.S justice system! He is facing 7 counts of grand theft and 2 other counts bordering on identity theft with each charge likely to earn 1 to 5 years in jail. This means if he is found guilty of all counts he could face 30 years or more, with a good lawyer he might not serve up to 5 years but certainly more than a year but with public defenders they won't even stress themselves. First offender theory is meant for U.S citizens, when it comes to foreigners and even permanent residents you are at the mercy of the court and there is no issue hotter in the U.S right now than cyber identity theft or cyberfraud. Best case scenario, the promoter Chukwuemeka confesses that Dammy was not aware of all those transactions, the attempt to use up to 5 cards for one purchase and that the Samsung phone used belongs to someone else, this might save him from a harsh sentence but the Nigerian stigma will always make this case a hard one for any defense team.
|
I don't think so. public defender is not a bad thing. its cost so much to hire a lawyer and considering his fake life, he might just not be able to afford one which leave him with no choice. On a normal circumstances, he should get less than a year if found guilty cos this a his first time and just a transaction. abbey621: |
Credit cards, Internet scam etc are federal crime in State. He is a first offender so I guess he just going to get a slap in the wrist between 6 to 11 months which is a misdemeanor but if he get a meet a racist judge, then he is in for a big sh**t. |
I'm not a fan of GEJ but if GEJ is a definition of failure, what is Buhari? Average Nigerians on the street will prefer pre May 2015 to post May 2015. GEJ has numerous fault and he is not an Angel but a clueless GEJ is better than brilliant Buhari considering the situation of things. my opinion though. TwoBottles: |
Nothing emotional about it. I just felt a suggestion to the problem will be more appreciated. Peace eledalo: |
JAMB should centralized the process and regulate it. JAMB does not need to open CBT centers but regulate the private CBT center who wish to participate and stipulate the price CBT centers will charge. GRE and GMAT do not have CBT centers across the world even in Nigeria but a center will never ask you for money cos they know it's automatic disqualification for such center. |
I'm not making excuses for his typo but the question is.. Is that your only contribution to the post? You can do better next time ..... eledalo: |
Nigerian mentality. Billionaire in State don't have a driver. Steve Jobs drove himself til death. Nobody has a driver here except the President and some very high ranking official. ettybaba: |
Good development but what is the point of unveiling WiFi? Providing WiFi is no dividend of good government cos almost every part of the world has WiFi even restaurant and train station. |
I don't have a poultry bro. I am just making suggestion to you. vislabraye: |
