You are right but he is not writing CV, cover letter or applying for a job. He is just looking for positive comment and possibly a solution to his problem.

Ralphlauren:
Well, when you are unemployed with 16 years banking experience and desperately in need of a job, use of English DOES matter.

For example, you cannot send a CV, cover letter or an email full of grammatical errors to a potential employer and expect them to take you seriously.
CareerRe: 16 Years Banking Experience As A Contract Staff (Age Barrier) by xandy84: 8:40pm On May 14, 2017
I'm not trying to excuse his use of English but when you're jobless as a man, correct use of English will be least of your problem. I'm sure he has a family to feed and his use of English does not pay rent either.

Ralphlauren:
I agree.

His use of English isn't great and it is a major turn off for any serious employer.

CareerRe: 16 Years Banking Experience As A Contract Staff (Age Barrier) by xandy84: 8:28pm On May 14, 2017
Guess all you can comprehend is the whole story is the mistake he made? Someone is in a predicament and all you can do is insult him. I pray one day you don't get in his situation so you don't get to forget I'm, am...

tomdon:
You need to first learn the difference between am and I'm. At 41 you're still using such shorthand.
The root of your problem is not farfetched oga.
CareerRe: 16 Years Banking Experience As A Contract Staff (Age Barrier) by xandy84: 8:22pm On May 14, 2017
Nice write up and an eye opener for younger generation but there is little or nothing NLC can do about it. Contract is optional and you don't have to take it if you are not comfortable with the terms of the agreement and the high unemployment in the country makes employee at the mercy of employer. There is Temp agency that hire people on temporary basic in America and the government can't do nothing about it. The bottom life is we all need skill that can put meals on our table cos paper certificate is going nowhere in Naija
PoliticsRe: Sule Lamido For President 2019 Campaign Vehicles (Photos) by xandy84: 6:09pm On May 07, 2017
Sule Lamido is one of the most brilliant and intelligent politician in the North. He turned Jigawa to morden city from beggars colony. As much as I'm not a fan of Northern agenda, his achievement speaks for him and he stand a better chance compare to Sherrif etc. Buhari should just call it a day in 2019 cos he does not have the health or the intelligent to govern a complex nation state like Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: 2 Years After: Do You Think Nigerians Made Mistake Voting Buhari In As Presido? by xandy84: 5:24pm On Mar 29, 2017
I have an ex gf who argue with me in 2011 that Buhari would have fix Nigeria if he had won the election. fast track to 2015, she voted for Buhari and he won and a year later, she is singing new song of how incompetence Buhari is blah blah blah.
The reality is , Buhari might be a good man but he lack the skills, knowledge, experience or education to government a complex nation like our. Buhari had not own or control any organisation or company except cow, so he can't help himself.

we are jokes as a nation and the way handle things make other nations see as as land of jesters. What us the point od a hearing for certificate authentication? what happen to the school releasing a statement about the certificate? Why waste the taxpayer monies on stupid hearing when the school can just release a statement and the scandal is over. Our nation is governed by people who see every opportunity to waste taxpayers money. SMH
CareerRe: What Can I Do With A Degree In Philosophy? by xandy84: 9:01pm On Mar 14, 2017
There are jobless lawyer still. What you study in university should be a foundation if you graduated from non professional discipline. Nothing is guaranty even if you study medicine. My ex girlfriend studied speech pathology and is she jobless. She is an American in studied in one of the best university in her state. The reality is simple, identify your passion and go for it. if it's your passion, you will always find a way to excel in it.
@ Op, As much i would love to advice you to go into professional certifications, that does not guaranty you a job still. What i will advice you is to deep search your soul and find your passion and you are good to go...

what if every law applicants were automatically admitted, won't there be jobless lawyers. ..??

PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To Buhari And Trump Phone Call by xandy84: 6:30pm On Feb 13, 2017
Do you think average Nigerians without no political affiliations care if Buhari speak to Trump or not? All we care about is MR president be back home and fix the ailing economy so that millions of average Nigerians can afford to provide for their families. Our economy is going south all people like you can think about is Mr president talking to Trump. Talking to Trump my a$$

PassingShot:
Some people are just born stupid. I mean plain stupid!

You wanted us to believe the president is dead or bed-ridden and incapacitated, and now that Trump has called him against your wish and prayer, you still want voice or video recording!

A year old baby knows that certain things cannot be claimed, if they didn't in fact occur. One of such is the conversation between two world leaders.

Some morons on Twitter still doubt the call despite Garba Sheu constant tweeting his tweets to @realdonaldtrump and @POTUS. How useless can one be!

Wailing zombies should wail with sense now!

I have nothing in place. I grow up around poultry and I have liking for it. Was thinking it will not be a bad idea to invest a thousand dollar or so and watch it grow. My choice of Lagos or Ogun state is due to close proximity to my family so they can check on it so I will be throwing my money away. Naija not smiling...

PoliticsRe: "It Is God's Will That I Will Become President Of Nigeria One Day" - Fayose by xandy84: 3:58pm On Feb 06, 2017
I am a Yoruba man and if there is any Yoruba man who stand a chance to be a president then the person is Fayose. You might not like his style of governance but give it to him, he has balls. He is the only governor in Nigeria that arrest Fulani menace while other governors are crying like a baby. On my personal opinion, he is the only man that enjoy general acceptance from majority of the Yoruba and Igbo people. Fayose stand a chance more than Tinubu to be a president of Nigeria one day.. my opinion though

PoliticsRe: Is $1 To N500 Ok?: Nigerians Protest At CBN Headqueters, Abuja (Photos) by xandy84: 3:10pm On Jan 27, 2017
Buhari has completely lost any public goodwill that brought him to power by being slow, took forever to appoint ministers and members of cabinet, hurriedly implement TSA and that put the economy is great financial stress. Buhari is on a free fall now and he will be surprise in coming months that an hungry masses is and angry masses and an angry masses does not care about death.
PoliticsRe: 72% Of Nigerians Ask Buhari To Resign by xandy84: 11:46pm On Jan 26, 2017
GEJ has lots of faults which is agreed but Nigeria and Nigerians made lots of gains during his administration but Buhari has a good heart to turn things around but he lack the knowledge, intelligence and to make it worse, he is too stubborn to listen to superior argument. Buhari administration has gotten to the level that average Nigerians can't feed their families and we are gradually turning to nations of beggars. Corruptions is secondary if you can't feed your family, pay rent and take care of your children

ivandragon:
fact remains... those still rooting for PMB are shameful hypocrites...

PMB in less than 2 years has surpassed all the atrocities of GEJ put together, yet PMB's paid Social Media Idiots still come here to defend trash.

they say GEJ attacked the media, PMB is doing that...

they say corrupt people were in GEJ's government, there are corrupt people now...

they say $2.1b arms money got missing, $4.8b oil money has gone missing now...

they blasted GEJ for the 14 people that died at the immigration exercise, yet they provide excuses for over 230 people killed in an IDP camp.

they abused GEJ for not visiting chibok, the applaud PMB for going abroad after 230 people were killed by the NAF

they mocked exchange rate at N216, now they provide justification for it at N490...

they kicked against removal of subsidy, now they see it as a move by a 'wise' regime.

they condemned foreign trips, now they think its for the good of Nigeria.

when inflation was at 9% they threatened fire & brimstone, its now 18.6% & they are preaching patience.

they blasted GEJ for every security situation in the country, now they blame the citizens for insecurity in the country...

Deziani is blasted for owning a home in Abuja, but Buratai is hailed as being prudent for owning homes in Dubai...

the hypocrisy is boundless...

bottom line?

argue with PMB's Social Media Idiots at your own peril.

Nigerians and superstition are like bread and butter. The man in the picture looks mad and lots of money is 5, 10 and 20 denomination. We are way behind among countries of the world and our mentality of someone is behind my progress from the village etc will further makes us as a nation stay behind. Time to leave those thinking and move on to jet age..

PoliticsRe: Buhari Moves To Sack SGF Babachir Lawal, Gets Likely Replacements - Naij.com by xandy84: 3:12pm On Dec 21, 2016
How does PMB no nonsense attitude feed millions of hungry Nigerians?. Millions of internally displaced people in the north are dying of hunger.I believe average Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria because sentiment, tribalism and religious bigot has eaten deep thru our bones. The country is getting hard daily and difficult to survive for hard working Nigerians and the government can't come up with any sensible policy to ease the masses suffering. I'm glad the blame game had stop and if nothing is coming from APC led government after almost 2 years in government, then time is running out on them for real.

quote author=Femich18 post=52133274]PMB is a no nonsense Man. we know he will definitely replace him if found guilty... Unlike one past president That Won't take any step....
His minister bought bullet proof cars, nothing our president talk. Another one scammed unemployed graduates yet he was mute and he wanted to rule us again.
I love Nigerians, they voted him out immediately!!![/quote]
TravelRe: DANA Airline Conveys Passengers From Lagos To Abuja Leaving Their Luggage Behind by xandy84: 3:40pm On Dec 16, 2016
Leaving the whole passenger luggage behind only happen in Nigeria. Airline can mistaking left your luggage behind and such airline will admit their fault and you will be compensated for such mistake.. for example, Southwest airline will pay you close to $3000 for leaving your luggage behind and I have be praying for them to leave my luggage behind but they never will.. Na joke ooo

mmsen:
It doesn't 'just happen in Nigeria', airlines leave luggage behind all the time.

It's unfortunate but any system that involves human beings will have problems because human beings are fallible.
PoliticsRe: It Will Be Well Soon – Osinbajo To Nigerians by xandy84: 7:48pm On Dec 06, 2016
Buhari honesty can't and will not do magic. The only way out is good economic policies which the present administration is lacking.. This administration need to call on well meaning Nigerians to proffer solutions that will propel us out of the recession and not honesty and integrity of Buhari which is nothing but subjective remark.
