goslowgoslow: You can never attain professorship in your life because what the man is simply saying is that LP and PDP could have defeated Tinubu with a joint ticket, even with rigging on the part of APC. Is that not a statement of fact? Unfortunately what you want to hear is that Obi won election..... olodo! Indeed... Nicely put. I have more respect for the iconic internationalist and 1986 Nobel prize winner, Prof. Wole Soyinka than these morally bankrupt ethnic bigots, defamers, and liars among the Ibos posting hate speech and constituting themselves into a major nuisance on NL, X, and other internet-based platforms. Boldideas: Let me put it straight once again, Peter Obi made Atiku/PDP to loose the election. Immediately Obi decamped to LP, I was like damn! Atiku is bleeped! And Obi is going nowhere!
Imagine Tinubu decamping to another party simply because Amaechi, Osinbajo, and Lawal refused to step down for him before the primaries, if he likes he should shout EMI LO KAN with Megaphones, he will not win anything.
So the fact is that Peter Obi made PDP to loose out in the last election, and rather for both Atiku and Obi to show spirit of sportsmanship and congratulate the one who was wiser than them all, they're busy giving Pizzas and yoghurts to SANS in the name of tribunal and supreme Court brouhaha. 😂🤣😃 Well said... I registered for NIN around 2013 or 2014. I didn’t register again when people were rushing to do sọ recently. I had to go Online 2 mouth ago with the believe that I should be able to print my slip (the one carrying the NIN number because the one they gave me when I registered didn’t have NIN number on it) through their website. Luckily for me, I got information on how to print my national id card itself in to ways: one need that you Download the NIN app on google play and generate your unique log in information which I did. I paid roughly N1200 through remita and got the id card sent to me in pdf format. You can print it on plastic card also. Me save mine on phone and printed it later Impressive. |

NYSC and TRCN have enormous Data that are very critical for Decisions making.
I think NASSIM/Npower also has a reliable Database of Unemployed Nigerian Graduates.
To the guy above me, I understand your reservation.
But, it appears that more competent people are taking over the helms of affairs of some different ministries and parastatals of recent.
Take a Clue at how NTA all of a sudden revived.
I recently updated the NIMC app on play store and I can tell that the recently released version is better and I can give it a rating of 4.0, hopefully, it will get to at least 4.5 in the nearest future.
The government should invest more in staff training. Especially in Data Science /Analytics as it will champion accelerated growth and productivity. |

For celebs to ignore them the last time they publicly came out to beg shows they're tired of the incessant begging. It's the public begging we see, only God knows how many times they privately reach out to those celebs. It's so sad that they lost a strong pillar in their family, that shouldn't mean they should turn themselves to serial beggers. How sustainable were the 2 original helps for Dagrin's fam? There should be a "teach them how to fish" condition attached to any financial donations not these media stunts. So many money donation publicity stunts out there. |

Corrinthians: Ultimately, only Easterners will be left hanging onto the false claims that Obi won that election. Heaven knows he lost, so does hell.
I'm sure Obi himself knows he failed but wants to cling into the lie in order to keep himself relevant until the next round of election. But if anything, and he stands for the position yet again, the beating would be worse this time, given how much how headless mob have shown their apathy against freedom of choice and expression.
They've all but resorted to baiting the military to take over. Imagine the wickedness. Not to mention all of these don't for someone who was crowned a cataclysmic failure by his own people when he was the Anambra state governor. True that. |

Tflex01: Normal. As it should be.
Remi Tinubu, a Delta woman will be forever grateful to God for marrying a Yoruba man. You are wrong here. Senator Oluremi Tinubu is paternally an Ijebu woman from Ogun State (not the Ijebu-speaking parts of Lagos East in Lagos State) and maternally an Itsekiri from Delta State. Itsekiris also have strong Yoruba ancestral roots from Ijebu, Ilaje, and Ife sub-ethnic groups. The other component of Itsekiri migrated from Bini-Edo to Ode Itsekiri (a community originally founded by Ijebus led by Chief Lenuwa) via Prince Ginuwa (whose mother was also from Ile Ife), the exiled son of the then Oba of Benin in the 1480s. Reno Omokri's mother is also an Itsekiri woman who is descended directly from the Itsekiri Royal family lineage, but Reno's father is an Urhobo, an Edoid sub-ethnic group in Delta State. Hope this helps. |

I can bet Moremi Ojudu’s appointment has nothing to do with her father. It must be from her personal relationship with Tinubu when she led a protest to Tinubu’s house during the Buhari administration. It’s good to see that Mr. President didn’t consider the betrayal of her father in his relationship with her.
Congratulations to all the appointees. They should all do their best in helping the president to succeed.

Commentus2: Mis-yawn! Should Nigeria break, there will be nothing like northern Nigeria as presently constituted. A broken up Nigeria will more likely be in the format: West, North, Middle Belt, East and South-south! Most of the minority tribes will choose the side that favour them!
That man should wake up, his postulation can't never happen! Bump. Junaid passed on a few years ago. He must have said this while he was cerebrally delirious. Offa, Jebba, Share and Ilorin, etc, in Kwara State are proper Yoruba cities/towns geographically located in the heart of Yorubaland in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria, just like the Ebiras, Igalas, Idomas, Tivs, Jukuns, Nupes, Angas, Taroks, etc. |
Family › Re: What Habits Did You See In Your Father And You Are Determined To Change by XAUBulls: 3:37pm On Sep 16, 2023 |
Skyview01: While thinking and reminiscing, I am thinking of my childhood and growing up, as kids, whenever our fatger would come back from work, we would allwys all run out of the house through the backdoor at the sound of his car horn.
The biggest reason is immediately he is stepping in, he would start complaining about things not being in their right places.
Chores not being done or improperly done, house not clean enough and he would always have something to complain about in an angry tone of voice.
I came to believe it was his own way of dealing with a stressful day at work and over time, it kinda created some tensions between us.
I told myself, no matter what, if I had my own family, no matter the stress I pass through during the day, i would never take it out on the kids or wife.
So whenever i come back from work and i see chores not done properly, my father's reaction would flash in my mind and i would take a deep breath and go the opposite directio , ask the kids and wife how their day went. and generaly chit chat about them without making them uncomfortable around me.
At the end, I might ask my son, "sweetheart, when are you going to wash the dishes? Even at the peak of a very stressful day, I would find a way to smile and go to my room in solitude.
Secondly, shouting at the children while correcting the. My dad as a true Nigerian man would yell at a high octave while correcting us and it frequently drives me crazy as a teenager.
With my kids and family, I practice a low even tone of voice while i am angry or making neccessary corrections. I find this to be very effective as it made the kids receptive and willing to change.
The results, kids are free with me and can discuss virtually everything in their lives with me.
So, what did you see your father do while growing up you were unhappy with and wanted to change in your own family. There are too many dysfunctional younger and older people in the society because of what they've learned from their parents, who equally picked up bad personal and ethnically-specific, narcisistic cultural habits from their own parents and ancestors. |

They then proceeded to make the popular ‘female turned male student’ the president of the Accounting Club as well as Class tutor of his set without anyone observing that he had changed his gender.
