immortalmortal:
Most ladies these days go into marriage for the wrong reason. They rush into marriage either because of pressure or for financial stability. They realise afterwards, that its not all "happy-ever-after". Married Women cheat for so many reasons, Some for fun, some for emotional gratification(mostly with their ex or someone who has captured them emotionally), some cheat for money, most who cheat do so because their husdand cant satisfy dem sexually. If its okay for a man to get what ever satisfaction with another woman, i see no reason why a woman should not do same.

I bet you enjoy every bit of it knacking someone's wife tongue tongue tongue.Im not the one to judge as long as it's a mutual affair undecided

But your citations are true with married men's dispositions towards their wives.Lack of love and care tops it all. Many marriages are just too terrible to look at, nothing attractive to make the single get hooked.Little wonder the trend of baby mamaism.I see lots of women who are trying to get out after a kid or two and when they finally do,few years later they are swimming in money they lacked when they were married.
True that.

When you tell men that their wives should never have male besties they think we are joking grin grin. There is nothing like bestie in any friendship between male and female , 98% of the time besties are usually their fvckbuddies.

It's just so bad that women are very promiscuous this days , I myself have had my fair share of married women, God have mercy on me. I'd still blame the husbands though because when this women narrates what they go through though the narration might be one-sided.

No care, love attention, sexless marriage are some of the things married women go through, their husbands are no where to be found, am talking about well to do women not paupers , but all the same husbands in the house let's love our wives and show them care and attention, if they begin to look outside trust lots of young Guns like me are ever-ready to give them what they want.

Well, our traditional society felt marriage is all women needs.Alas,I found out that Nigeria women are evolving and infact in the most drastic way.
I have a former acquittance, a very very intelligent guy who now lives in Canada with his family who confided in me that his boss,a woman fired him because he refused to sleep with her.She is rich, married and influential.

Not entirely true.
In my location here in the FCT, many married rich women sleeps around at will.Infact,my former boss used to sleep with one,a politician wife then in the Estate. She comes around at night,do her thing and drive off.We attend same church and she carries herself well like she does no shit.

Well,it's no news that there is now a surge in women, married women committing adultery in today's Nigeria.Out of
10 adultery cases on nairaland, more than half has got women as the culprit.Infact, only this week on Frontpage, more than 10 cases from nairalanders has been recorded.

Why now? What went wrong? What could be the reasons for the skyrocketing cases of cheating wives? shocked shocked shocked

Revenge?

Bad xxxx?
Economic limitations and the need to keep up financial independence in gender competitive Nigeria?
Domestic abuse and subjugation?
Religious ingenuity by respected clerics?
Age?
Social media and it's larger than life attributes,a platform where disadvantaged persons can paint a picture perfect life and get away with it?

OR?
Has men become really effeminate?

I now noticed this ugly strain in NL, disgusting yet calls for deep reflection. Our men are becoming more and more loquacious than their female counterpart, they complain too much. This bantle of 'bitterness' associated with Nigeria women as been thrown to the men.Its really disgusting to say the least,I think women are supposed to be the talkatives here and not the men.Omo,the rants are getting worst with the males ñot even giving the women chance to express themselves EVEN on threads that are specifically for the women.I believe that it shows there are more jobless men than women in Nigeria.Loads and lot of verbal assault been hurled and women who have now decided to see nothing wrong in being a baby mama or a LovePeddler. Now,many of them glorifies the word.We can see that with the way a lady exposed her white pant in a birthday photoshoot recently.

So many damaged marriages.Single women and men competing in corporations, having illicit Bleep, going home to sleep like nothing happened , resuming next day competing with each other all over again.I have friends in the island who live like this. The married ones still sleep around, the single ones keep late nights with different guys and in all I noticed they value money more than marriage. As long as the money keeps rolling in,Omo _penis no hard to get,na money be de Koko. sad
And it is what it is.As long as _vagina ain't free,_penis is and so for the women,it's a win win for them You pay to get mine by cash or otherwise,I get yours any damn time I want. So?

Marriage in general is truly overrated.

It will surely get worst.

Thanks everyone for your words of advise, I decide I will inform her albeit diplomatically rather than let my dad do it.
That means it will have to wait till I arrive naija later this month.
We'd both be doing another round of tests together, I won't tell her I did it already to prevent her feeling like this was planned.

Will try to make it as spontaneous as possible and also sound like its standard procedure, just like people have suggested.

Thanks all.

The major reason why many of us abroad come back home to marry is that, majority of ladies abroad are old, some of us prefer younger women.
With that advanced age comes a lot of baggage, also you find cultural compatibility is also a huge part of marriage.

This is the reason why Indians and middle easterners abroad have the lowest divorce rate, marriage is deeper than just attraction for a marriage to stand the test of time, its advisable to marry someone with similar cultural values.

I have a few friends who have married here abroad but majority still go back to naija to marry just like me, I guess it all depends on how we see things.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Android Phones From China Transmit Personal Info Without Consent by XAUBulls: 7:08pm On May 04, 2023
adamusuleiman3:
Pre-installed system apps on Android phones from three popular Chinese vendors, as well as third-party apps, are reportedly transmitting personal user information without notification or consent.

Researchers at universities in the United Kingdom examined the Chinese version of the Android OS distributions run by Xiaomi, Realme and OnePlus headsets, experimenting with a number of devices.

The arXiv paper's authors measured the network traffic generated by handsets when in use, using static and dynamic code analysis techniques to look at the data transmitted by the reinstalled system apps.

"We find that these devices come bundled with a number of third-party applications, some of which are granted dangerous runtime permissions by default without user consent, and transmit traffic containing a broad range of geolocation, user-profile and social relationships [personally identifiable information] to both phone vendors and third-party domains, without notifying the user or offering the choice to opt-out," the research showed.

The packages transmitted to many third-party domains contain privacy-sensitive information related to devices, including GPS coordinates, network-related identifiers, phone numbers, app usage data and call histories. Comparatively, data shared by the Global version of the firmware was found to be mostly limited to device-specific information, which the computer scientists said sheds light on differences in privacy provision enforcement across separate regions.

Notably, the collection does not stop once the device and user leave China, despite the fact that different countries have different privacy laws. Furthermore, data was found to be sent to mobile operators even when they were not providing service.

"This poses serious deanonymization and tracking risks that extend outside China when the user leaves the country, and calls for a more rigorous enforcement of the recently adopted data privacy legislation," the study said. The findings, the authors wrote, highlight the need for tighter privacy curbs to "increase the ordinary people’s trust in technology companies, many of which are partially state-owned."

Gosh! That is too much information leaking out to mobile operators or third-party sources.

I am a 38 year old Nigerian American citizen dating a 26 year old Nigeria girl.

I grew up in Nigeria but travelled out to the USA when I was 25 years old, I am a citizen now and doing really well for myself.

I met a beautiful and godly Nigerian girl on facebook and we have been dating for some months now we are now thinking of marriage, she is in Nigeria while I am in the USA.

Some weeks ago my dad asked me to do some tests and send to him, (He is a medical doctor), I did them, turns out to be fertility tests and all was perfect.

I just told him about my fiance and my plans to get married in some months time and he said she has to do fertility test before he can agree to the marriage.

This was very shocking for me as he insisted that it is his position, I haven't told my fiance cos I dont know how to and my fiance is scheduled to pay my parents a visit for the first time in Port Harcourt in 2 weeks time.

My fiance is from Delta but lives in Portharcout as my parents while we are from Port harcourt.

My dad has said if I cannot tell her that he will, what do you guys think ?

Honest advise please and admin kindly push to front page for wider advise.

Thanks.
No BIG deal in your babe taking the fertility test. Your doctor father has a point.

Fertility tests when taken pre and post-marriage would enable men and women to detect potential fertility challenges that may arise.
Low sperm counts, high content of toxic metals in the body, tubal blockages, and fibroids cause major fertility issues.

There are existing solutions for almost all the medical or infertility problems here as long as they are detected and treated by medical specialists.

Looooooooooool one of the greatest lie so far this year. This nairaland is something else I swear, 20 estates lool. When the list of estate owners in lagos were released, NO ibo man made the list. Jim ovia was one of the few non yorubas that made the list. 20 estates looooooooooool God have mercy, the rate at which ibo people lie is on another level, even lucifer can never feel comfortable around them.
That poster is a propagandist, very dishonest and a real creep tbh.
These young ethnic bigots think they are conversing with illiterates or semi-literates here online.

The BIGGEST real estate developer is Lagos State with multibillion Naira investments through LSDPC. This is followed by investments by well-known and silent Yoruba real estate moguls.

The list of the top 20 real estate investors in Lagos as of the late 2010s was posted here in the NL property section, and Jim Ovia who is of Ika ethnicity from Agbor in Delta North of Delta State was on the list. Agbor indigenes gravitate towards Edoid ancestry and culture as affirmed by the Dein of Agbor, and the name Ovia is an Edo word which refers to the "God of Iron."
No Ibo person was listed there.

NOTE: Delta North or Anioma is made up of folks whose ancestors migrated from multiple ethnic groups such as Bini-Edo, Esan-Edo, Yoruba, Igala, Ibo (Nri), etc, to establish new villages and settlements in that area with intra-migrations and inter-migrations over the last 600 years.

The legit people to buy lands from in Lagos are the ogas at alausa. Many of them bought lands and kept, until they appreciated before reselling. Those lands have original documents, verifiable anywhere because na dem dey allocate and issue documents so, they always ensure they get papers for any land acquired by them. It costs them nothing. They get approvals on a padi-padi basis and mostly on lagos state acquired and developed lands. If you patronise touts or omo oniles, OYO! If you want to buy from someone who wishes to resell, go to Alausa and verify those documents before you rear head, to avoid stories that touch

She paid this other family friend who was doing her third year to keep an eye on me and make sure that I don't get out of line and she would every now and then report back to my mother... Me and the woman became close and I thought maybe it was because she's a family friend, but nope, she was on duty.. grin grin

I only got to find out about it during the second semester... grin grin grin

During my junior year in high school my mom hired this other guy who was doing his senior year to walk together with me to school every morning, constantly come to check on me during break time, and to walk me back home after school.

My mom didn't even tell me about the guy until one morning I finished my breakfast and she told that there was someone waiting for me outside.

It was so embarrassing it felt like I had a bodyguard and this guy was not helping matters... During break time he'd come with his friends to the junior class to check on me... My friends would tease me and say that I've got a bodyguard.

Even when he had to stay behind after school to study, he'd make sure to walk me home with his friends and return back to school after making sure that I got home safely.

My home was not even that far from school.

If he couldn't make it to school, he'd ask his friends to fetch me and walk me home after school.

I tried talking to Mom about it and told her that I didn't need the guy keeping an eye on me, but she couldn't take a no for an answer.
Samantha, that cracked me up. You must have been 11 to 13 years of age then.

Your mum loves you, that's why she got the senior boy in high school to protect you back in the day from the potential Limpopo 'hood bullies and other vices. Lol.

Second one can still be in Lagos too considering the assurance making sales... Since one is already in surulere, the other can be somewhere on the island, we have numerous club houses and hotels there, Ikeja/Maryland is also a good area for great sales...

But if you insist on having it in other states aside Lagos, then Abj is the only state from the north, Imo, Enugu from the East, Ibadan is the only state in the west aside Lagos that can push sales a bit as most of the south westerners consumes more of beer.
I have been to all the state I mentioned above except Enugu, but I learnt it's also flooded with club houses and hotels, especially the students area.
NB: I'm not saying wine are sold only in club houses alone.

If you decides to go for the Lagos store, I don't mind working for you, I have experience about wines as I had worked in two different top clubs in Lagos.
