OP: Pipedreams. 2008 Why Are Ladies Like This? Is Sex A Gift To Men?
I met this lady on saturday walking down with her sis. I holla at her then we exchanged numbers. We chatted briefly on saturday night after she saw a watsapp status of me stunting with my guy and revving the streets in my ride while doing a video. She hailed me for being a flexer.
Fast forward to Sunday Afternoon we chatted and she said she was a bit bored so I invited her over. I picked her up half way at Opebi and we drove to my crib after a brief stop over at Chicken republic for takeaway entertainment.
We got to the crib and after eating and while watching DSTV i made a move and she said it was early but was moaning and we bleeped two rounds, then I dropped her off at Ikeja with some little transport money 2k. I never asked her out or told her i needed a GF.
Why do Naija girls feel after sex you owe dem something? So stupidly entitled. Didnt we both enjoy it? Lmao. Now because i did not call yesterday and text shes getting pissed off. Watsapp chat below. |

ibechris: I totally disagree with u.
Don't use your situation to think others are passing through the same thing u are going through. In fact, the problem with most Nigerians is that, during courtships, most intending couples don't discuss matters that are of concern to their future.
They often don't prepare for the future and that is why, many are in dire need of financial and moral uplifting in their marriage.
In China,an average Chinese don't ever talk about marriage except they are able to acquire an apartment where he and his wife would live, but here in Nigeria, immediately a guy makes 5million naira he runs to marry and spend virtually all that he had acquired just to impress everyone.
That is why u see most marriage crashing on a daily basis.
Another reason is,most men marry liabilities and come back to regret ever making that mistake. I am not perfect, but I remembered asking my wife her financial role if we get married and what we would be investing our money into as time goes on. I also remembered, she once told me,that she would like me to take charge of whatever investment we shall be putting our money in since I was more versed in investment than her.
We discuss a lot that i can't say here.
Many intended couples invest so much time in preparing for wedding than preparing for marriage and the future ahead.
Lastly, before u prepare for marriage, sit down with ur wife to be,discuss money matters with her, don't marry a man or a woman who has no job,no hand work or education. If he or her parents are not rich, pls be careful. Some may be lucky while others may not be.
Note: many homes are enjoying their marriages and I am one of them, with this,i think I have made my points
Good luck. Interesting POV. |

EcoBrick: https://punchng.com/dna-ooni-hosts-renames-americans-with-ile-ife-root/ Oh, wow! What DNA testing company they used was not clearly stated though. AfricanAncestry.com Patriclan and Matriclan tests link you directly with the nearest ethnic group via the paternal and maternal lineage in Africa in their database. This is the same ancestry DNA test the African-American TV journalist, Mr. Sam Ford did in the early 2000s and he visited Lagos, Ibadan and Ile-Ife in the late 2000s to trace his Yoruba paternal roots. The visit was shown on ABC7 News in the U.S. and when he stood within the Oranmiyan shrine in Ife, it gave me goose bumps. The current Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi should invite him specially for recognition and a Chieftaincy for being the first African-American to use DNA to trace his roots by visiting Ife. The iconic Americans, Judge Glenda Hatchett and the delectable Quad Webb both have direct maternal ancestry to Yorubaland based on genetic markers shared by Yoruba women. The last ever slave ship (Clotilda) that sailed into the entire U.S. from Whydah (Benin Republic) in 1860 had a lot of Yorubas who are from today's Benin Republic and Nigeria on board. Some Fon and Nupe (Tapa) were also on board that infamous slave ship as they finally landed in Mobile, Alabama. After the American Civil War in 1865, the survivors among them all regained their freedom and founded Africatown in Mobile, Alabama. The other ancestral tests are from 23andMe, and AncestryDNA, but they only show you your ancestral tree and do NOT tell what specific ethnicity you are closely related to based on your paternal and/or maternal lineages. RESHARPENED: There are people who think Musk is a saint. They think everything he does is right. They are wrong.
But he's a BULLY. Forcefully imposing blue check marks on people who say they don't want it. Just because he can.
If only those people have the balls to leave Twitter.
He's trying very hard to undermine legacy media. He continuosly brings their credibility to question while positioning Twitter as the sole custodian of truth.
Guess what?
He owns and control 100% of Twitter. Yet, everyone is lining up to suck Elon's di.ck.
He will always do what's best for him.
For instance, when he reported his Starship taking off; he only posted a video of it taking off. Not where it exploded.
Most videos that show that are from third party sources.
That's obviously cherrypicking what to report. Just like the media he castigates do. It's doing what's best for himself.
Musk is smart but he's no saint. Only dumb people think otherwise. |

aboyaji: I'll go first...
1. Cooking gas: Cooking gas is very cheap in ivory Coast. It costs an average of #330/kg of gas. So refilling a 12.5 kg cylinder should cost you #4125 at most.
2. Kerosene: kerosene costs relatively about #650/ litre in the fuel station, where the black market sells for #800/ litre.
Note : This country's oil production is very poor o. They're not even anywhere close to Naija's production.
3. Organisation: Ivory coast is very well organized that you can barely run into unorganized environment. Many areas are safely guarded by their local police officers stationed almost everywhere. You can as well make friends with the officers easily without any form of threat from them. They're very welcoming.
4. Very low violent place: People can move around as late as 10pm till dawn without the fear of harassment or violence. In fact, children play in the tarred road as late as 10pm. They have already come to terms about how safe they are in the country. People can stay up late wherever they went to without rushing back home due to nightfall. Night movements was my best !
5. Good Road network: I spent close to 7 months in ivory Coast and could barely see a road untarred. Almost every road I used was smoothly done and stretched to various cities and States. The only place my leg touched Sandy soil was in my compound because the landlord was still constructing more buildings in the site. So our compound was sandy at the moment. Tarred road stretched into all compounds in ivory Coast. It's not the responsibility of the government to do your compound, it's yours. I was marvelled by such development though I spent most of my time in the rural area.
6. Security: Police is your friend is the Moto in ivory Coast. Really nice people. I guess I've said it somewhere before now.
6a. Theft is ALMOST uncertainty. The prepaid meter of every individual house is stationed outside the main building without burglary or iron shield. Anybody can touch it. It wasn't even stationed very high from the ground level. It went only as far as 3-4 feets high. A child of 10 can touch it too.
Our apartment is in a 2 storey building comprising of almost 33 units of one bedroom apartments. The building was built like a shopping complex. All of the prepaid meters used in this apartments are stationed outside where everyone can see and feel it. But no one steals it, likewise every other houses there.
6b. Once there was a particular theft in my ivorian friend's shop that I know of. There were 5 boys who was involved in burgling his computer and phone shop one night. But before 5am, the boys were all caught with the complete stolen items retrieved. Funny enough, my friend didn't know. He was woken up by the police to come to his shop and see the guys. And he didn't have to SETTLE THE POLICE FOR DOING THEIR JOBS .
7. There is constant electricity in that country. CONSTANT. I only observed a few nightouts and those periods were understandable. They all know when the lights would go off in the week or month and have come to terms with it. Light doesn't go off intermittently as obtained in Nigeria. And throughout my stay there, I didn't pay for light bill or water. My caretaker didn't mention it to me too. I was surprised. Steady light
8. Economy: Their economy is very good. It's almost equaling to the Naira at the time I left. So, if you hear 500 CFA there, it's almost equivalent to 500 Naira. So don't do too much calculation.
8a. Minimum wage is very much respected and applied. A POS attendant over their is living a good standard life. A bar attendant earns about 20,000 CFA weekly... WEEKLY o. I mean a local bar attendant. How much more a corporate hotel or bar attendant or waiter.
8b. The money you earn can fetch you a standard living. Their money is easily made and spent too.
9. FOOD : Our area of specialty.
Food is over cheap compared to what's obtained in Naija. You can see someone who earns little but could afford chicken or any frozen food. Food is not part of their problems for now. Banana can go as low as 50 CFA or 50 Naira and it is not the small quantity we're talking about.
A bunch of Bananas that you can get from a roadside vendor in Naija for 800 could be gotten for 150 CFA. So you see it. Once I bought 2 Bunches of banana for 50 each, I couldn't finish them for 3 days.
9a. So sorry, vegetables can be scarcely found there my dear. I made most of my soup without vegetables. That part I didn't enjoy
That's for now. Anybody can add. Indeed. I first visited Cote D'Ivoire in the late 1980s. Abidjan was very organised. From the arrival at the airport and along the main boulevard right to the Hotel Ivoire in the Cocody District where I stayed. People obeyed traffic lights and zebra-crossings, etc. |

airminem: Nigeria men are spending a greater percentage of their lives single. There are many reasons for this, including divorce and longer life spans. Yet more and more men are also choosing to delay marriage. The median age at first marriage for a man has risen sharply from a low of just under 25 percent to its current high of over 40 today. This lengthened period of singleness brings great challenges to Christian men as they seek to live for the glory of Jesus Christ. I will consider a theological foundation for sex. As i said, the biblical standard for your sexual behavior is that sexual intercourse is reserved for the marriage relationship that exists exclusively between one man and one woman so long as they both live. If you are a single man, it is worth asking yourself, do you have an “It’ll happen when it happens” attitude? Is this a Christian attitude? Is it indicative of what God calls Christian men to be? |

Martinez19: Are men hardwired by nature to stare at big butts and big boobs? No! The eroticization of a woman's breast is not natural but cultural. It is learnt not innate. There was a time in England when ankles, calves, hair and shoulders of women were considered more risqué than boobs. I read an article where a researcher was asking the men of a particular African tribe what they thought about "breast play", they were shocked . The idea that breast were considered sex objects didn't go down well with them because in their culture, breasts were for feeding the young ones only. It's not in all cultures that boobs have been eroticised.
Let me stop here. Do you think men are naturally hardwired to stare at butts and breast? Or do you think it learnt /cultural? Evolutionary hardwiring and social conditioning. |

PrettyCrystal: A Nigerian lady who is set to get married - has revealed how she met her fiance after her jewelry was stolen in Lagos. The lady identified as Uche Ajene met her partner, Sonnie who lived in Ikoyi area - after her jewelry was stolen by her housemaid.
The soon-to-be bride's love story was shared on social media. Read below;
So it’s a story about stolen jewelry and the quest to find it. My housegirl stole my jewelry... I got her arrested. Her boyfriend came to bail her out. I refused to budge until I got my jewelry back.⠀
Her boyfriend was the executive chef to some ‘big boy’ that lived in Ikoyi. The chef had access to resources that made my purnishing the girl difficult. And hence the ability to retrieve my stuff futile.⠀Then out of the blue a mutual friend calls me to inquire about my domestic issues.⠀
Came to find out he knew the ‘big boy’ who had complained to him about the one FCMB chick that was disturbing his cooks wife which is resulting in his cook not being focused which meant, he the ‘big boy’ wasn’t being served properly at home.⠀
Completely disgusted, I quickly took the number of the guy and called him.We agreed to meet at the George Hotel to discuss how to resolve this matter whereby I got my jewelry back and for him, his cook can resume his duties of cooking his special meals.⠀
At the George, I got there first. He walked in a little later and we connected like we were old friends. We spoke about anything and yet nothing. We met at the George at about 7.30pm. Finished from there at about midnight and, relocated out ‘very important’ discussions at the Wheatbaker where we stayed till 2.30am.⠀
So the question is did I recover my jewelry?⠀I’m sure you will agree that the heavens blessed me with a jewelry beyond my imaginations.⠀

sarrki: Capt Osakwe was so trusted by Gen Ojujwu that he entrusted his life to him. At the last hours of Biafra, Ojukwu had to make that historical departure from Biafra.
Ojukwu's failure to exit would have been a fatal error of sure death to him. Many other Biafran pilots were ready to do that last flight for the General. But Ojukwu trusted none but Capt Osakwe to ferry him to safety.
A wrong saboteur would have just diverted the plane elsewhere, and the rest is history. Ojukwu trusted Capt Osakwe who delivered him to safety.
Osakwe was from Umuikem village in Onitsha. Any side talk that Onitsha people were not supportive of Biafra is unsubstantiated. Even the chief justice of Biafra, Justice Louis Mbanefo was from Onitsha too. Mbanefo drafted Biafran surrender instrument, and he led Biafra delegates to surrender to Gen Gowon in 1970, Jan 15th.
..History lesson!! Bump. Onicha Ado N'Idu. @sarrki, Many Onitsha natives were locked up, died, and were forcibly conscripted into the secession move of the rebel leader as child soldiers during the 2 years and 6 months Nigerian Civil War. In a 2006 interview that I read, Olisa Agbakoba said he and his older brother were teenagers as of 1967 when they were conscripted against their will and taken to the battlefield after being earlier thrown into prison. He said Ukpabi Asika's role in the rejection of the secession and Asika's role in 1967 as the Administrator of the East Central State (Now the 5 states of the South East) may have been responsible for the maltreatment of Onitsha indigenes by Ojukwu's rebels. Meanwhile, their legal luminary father was safely in Lagos on Nigerian soil (outside the rebel enclave). |

Ynix: EXPLAINER: What's Happening in Sudan? (Burhan vs Hemedti) ~ Tosin Adeoti
Source: Facebook
Someone sent me a DM asking for an explainer on what is happening in Sudan in an easy-to-understand format. So here it is:
Why is everyone evacuating their citizens from Sudan? Serious fighting is taking place in that country to the south of the Sahara.
How did they get here? The two top generals in the country are fighting - Gen. Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan of the Sudanese army and Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo (known as Hemedti) of the Rapid Support Forces, RSF (a paramilitary group).
What? Do they not have a president to put them in check? No, they ganged up to organize a coup to send their president away. In 2019, President Omar al-Bashir was ousted from power. Al-Bashir had been the longest-serving leader of Sudan since the country gained independence in 1956, and the people were just tired of him. He was a really corrupt guy. For instance, $130 million was found in his home. He even went to jail after the coup.
I see. So who is the Head of State? Gen. Abdel-Fattah Burhan of the Sudanese army is the defacto leader. When al-Bashir was removed, the two groups formed a transitional coalition, called the Sovereign Council, together with civilian groups. A civilian, Abdalla Hamdok, was made Prime Minister. But two years later, in 2021, the two armed groups dislodged him when he asked for a full transition to civilian rule. The PM and multiple government ministers and officials were arrested.
LOL. Sounds familiar. Not surprised. Gen. Burhan, the head of the army, became the leader, and Gen. Hemedti, the head of the paramilitary group, became his deputy.
Lemme guess...they are the ones fighting now? That's right.
But how can a paramilitary challenge the army? Because this paramilitary group called RSF is as powerful as the army. RSF used to have access to the National Intelligence and Security Services of Bashir when he was president. Hemedti, their leader, was Bashir's trusted man. Over the years, Hemedti has forged powerful ties both in the region and internationally. He sent RSF forces to fight Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen, allying with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. All for profit. Gen. Hemedti is considered one of the richest men in Sudan thanks to a range of businesses, including gold mining he had access to when Bashir was president.
Interesting. So what's causing their fight now? In December 2022, after much pressure from the international community, a new transition plan to democracy was launched. A final deal was due to be signed this April, on the fourth anniversary of the overthrow of long-ruling autocrat Omar al-Bashir. The RSF says the army does not want to absorb them into their midst. The army says it's not so simple and that they have a timetable for the absorption. There are reports that General Burhan is not happy that Hemedti is aligning himself more closely with civilian parties from whom the civilian president may come. Burhan says he supports the idea of returning to civilian rule but that he will only hand over power to an elected government. Hemedti says he's trying to remove himself from Islamist-leaning Bashir loyalists and veterans who have deep roots in the army. There is also the question of who will become the leader of the army after RSF has been integrated into the army.
But why did the army throw the first blow? The Army said they had to stop RSF because they were deploying troops all over the country. Indeed, no sooner had the fight broken out on April 15 than RSF claimed they had seized the Khartoum airport, the presidential palace, as well as an airport and airbase in Merowe. The Sudanese army dismissed the claims as lies and maintained that it still controls all bases and airports.
Hmmm... what's the situation now? As of 23 April, more than 420 people have been killed, and more than 3,700 injured, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The US State Department confirmed on 21 April that an American citizen was also killed. The US isn't taking any chances and has cleared out its embassy in the capital of Khartoum. Other countries, like France, Germany, Japan, and the UK, have also moved to evacuate their diplomats. Thousands of residents have fled using unsafe roads, many to their deaths.
What about Nigerians? Over 5000 Nigerians are stranded in Sudan right now. Yesterday, the Federal Government said it is waiting for the Sudanese Government to give assurance before evacuating Nigerian students.
Which Sudanese government? I'm not Nigeria's foreign minister, please.
So, no end in sight? It doesn't look like the violence is going to end anytime soon. Sudan's army has reportedly said it won't negotiate with the paramilitary forces. Turkey, the US, UAE, Egypt, and others have called for immediate peace and offered to help mediate. Meanwhile, the UN called the situation in Sudan "catastrophic." Some aid groups have also had to postpone humanitarian aid to the country because of the violence. Experts are worried the conflict could turn into a civil war — which could threaten access to freshwater in the Nile, affect gold trade, and create another refugee crisis in the region. A brilliant overview... These call for true concern globally because of the size of North Sudan and the fear of conflict weapons spreading into wrong hands in other nearby African countries like the Libyan conflict did. |
