This better be a dream. But have you burnt all bridges before relocating? I mean, sold everything, droped resignation letter, etc. If yes, better stay back in UK and count your wife as a 'loss'. Stomach it and move on jejely without wahala.

Even if you have not burnt all bridges, i would advise you to still stay back and move on.

As per your question, i doubt she will follow you to naija with that your format, as she's half way gone into another man's bold arms (according to what you wrote).

Bring some of your relatives in naija up to speed about your plans and reasons for it. They will give you ideas.

You can as well Say someone in your family is very sick or dying and that there is urgent need to visit naija. It must be someone of significance anyway. Else she wont move an inch.

I remember that very late evening when someone called me that MIL died. I told my wife, we left all what we were doing at home, grabbed the keys and traveled several hundreds of KM down to the village.

So.....that kind of format.

Sometimes my 2 year old daughter would say 'daddee, seee' pointing towards a direction. I would look at that direction and actually see something like wall geckos, spiders etc.

Sometimes i see nothing when she says ' dadeee, seeeee'.

Lol 😂 i remember, many years ago, when i was preparing for my bach eve. Popsy called me and said that he heard my siblings talking about me & friends arranging bach eve. I said yes, that correct. He said i should not do it, and if i must it must not be a night party, that we should do it like 12pm-4pm, and that there should not be any alcoholic drinks and stuffs like that.

With an innocent look, i said OK, i have heard. I left his presence.

Omo, the party loud gann, college chicks, booze, DJ music, food, smoke plenty well well, even my brothers inlaw came around and enjoyed themselves. Started the party around11 pm and ended like 4am ( on the wedding day).

Poppsy got a wind of how the party went and all that. Popsy didn't even mention it again till date.

What I'm saying is.... If possible do not engage ur popman in disrespectful arguments. "OK sir, yes sir, no wahala", should be your response when you went to his room that night, or whenever stuffs like this want to happen.

Just be a good person and be moderate in your doings, he won't bother you again.

There are lazy poor people I agreed but, I want you to know that poor people ain't poor bcuz they're lazy, opportunity is not there for many to succeed easily.

It's more disastrous if you are the only one struggling to pull out of poverty in the family, because the rest will keep pulling u back, in the end, same family same conditions and people wl be wondering if there's no generational curse on them.

If many of them are blessed with wealth, u will hardly notice the poor among them, at least others will support the poor one no matter how many times he/she fails in business.

OP thought that life is like some calculus, that you can just work and calculate through it. There is no hard and fast rule to living life.

Calls not going through, number on their website is s/off, they rarely respond to emails.
