Has anyone rechecked his WAEC 2011 result online? Some adjustments have been made to the earlier results!

Goodwill International School, the first private secondary school in Ikorodu, Lagos State is recruiting graduate teachers in the following subject areas:

a. English Language
b. Yoruba
c. Geography

Interested applicants should forward their CV to goodwillcollegeik@yahoo. com or admin@goodwillinternationalschools.com. Interview will hold on Wednesday 7th September, 2011. Successful candidates are expected to resume on 15th September, 2011.

Interview consists of a written test based on WAEC SSCE Syllabus as well as micro teaching.

Please DO NOT send your CV if you are applying to teach any other subject as vacancies do not exist in other areas.

I wish to appeal to applicants not to send their CV if they are applying to teach any other subject that the three listed in my post as we do not have any vacancy in other areas.

It is better to deal with the root cause of the problem. I have a friend that had simiar problems and in her own case her cheeks also swelled up. She simply used Splina Liquid Chlorophyll along with some Shake Off (both products of Edmark) and she didn't have to remove the tooth. The pains disappeared and swollen cheeks came down. There are schools where examination malpractice is not seen, heard or touched and yet students are doing very well. You know them by the number of candidates they register (more often than not fewer than 50). My school is one of such and to the glory of God, we recorded 97% pass (29 out of 30 candidates) had 5 credits (English and Maths inclusive.

Besides, students who go through schools where exam malpractice is abhorred often excelled in higher institutions and we have had so many of them with 1st class and 2nd Class Upper.

It is not the present Government in Ogun State that took over private schools. Private schools in Nigeria were taken over by Government during the military rule. Some states have since the return to civil rule began to review the takeover and have started returning the schools to their original owners. In Ogun state, the administration of Gbenga Daniel returned some schools but the Nigerian Union of Teachers in that state kicked against it and as\eked the present administration to reverse the decision of the Gbenga Daniel administration. Funny enough, many private schools have been established in the state after the initial takeover and some of them are owned by teachers who are still in government service and so members of the NUT!

My first daughter is getting married next month. I was already dreaming of a bride price of about N3.5m because I have all receipts for her education plus professional examinations and got an accountant to work out the interest (she is actually an accountant herself). But the young man was lucky because when I went to my Dad in the village to ask what the family takes he gave me a list and behold I saw Bride price is fixed at N35000. So I guess I will have to grudgingly allow these lucky guy to pay just N35000. Or do you think I should appeal against these 'outdated list'? After all what can I buy wit 35k? And I was thinking of changing my car!!!
