It was a cascade of tears, whimpering sobs and free flow of emotions on Tuesday afternoon as the remains of Pastor Dare Adeboye was laid to rest.

The cleric was buried after a Farewell Service at the Youth Centre, Redemption Camp, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. In attendance at the farewell service were his wife, Temiloluwa; his three daughters; his brother, Leke Adeboye, other siblings; the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo; his wife, Faith; as well as his son, Pastor David Oyedepo Jr.

Dare was later buried in the presence of friends, family and church members.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that Dare, the third child of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, died last Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family. The 42-year-old was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before his death. He was father to three daughters.

US fuel pipeline hackers  – A cyber-criminal gang that took a major US fuel pipeline offline over the weekend has acknowledged the incident in a public statement.

“Our goal is to make money and not creating problems for society,” DarkSide wrote on its website.

The US issued emergency legislation on Sunday after Colonial Pipeline was hit by a ransomware cyber-attack.

The pipeline carries 2.5 million barrels a day – 45% of the East Coast’s supply of diesel, petrol and jet fuel.

The operator took itself offline on Friday after the cyber-attack. Work to restore service is continuing.

On Monday, the FBI officially confirmed that DarkSide was responsible for compromising Colonial Pipeline‘s networks, saying that it was continuing to work with the firm and other government agencies on the investigation.

During a speech about the economy at the White House on Monday, US President Joe Biden said that he was being “personally briefed” on the situation with the pipeline each day.

South Africa is considering a new law that will allow women marry more than one husband, in the same way that polygamous men are allowed to marry more than one wife.

The Department of Home Affairs which proposed the law in a 67-page policy document also called Green Paper on Marriages, stated that the current marriage act does not promote equality.

The policy document highlighted that the current marriage legislation is discriminatory as it does not recognise Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Rastafarian marriages. The policy document also called for polyandry to be legally recognised as a form of marriage.

The Green Paper proposed three new marriage regimes to bring equality in marriage laws. One of these options is a gender-neutral marriage regime.

Actress Iyabo Ojo Vows  – Actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed to resist any attempt to release embattled actor, Baba Ijesha who was arrested for molesting the foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape accuser –  Kathryn Mayorga, is demanding £56million in damages, the UK Mirror reports.

Newly released court’s documents show the former model is seeking the money after accusing the Juventus forward of sexually assaulting her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.

Kathryn wants £18m for “past pain and suffering”, £18m for “future pain and suffering” and another £18m in punitive damages.

The 37-year-old’s expenses add up to £1.4m with legal fees of £1.1m, giving a total of £56.5m, which is equal to two years of Ronaldo’s salary.
