You don't get it and no point talking to a wall. Go back and read my post again. The complaint is not about being ban but about balance and fairness. LordAdam: |
You are one smart guy! It's a "bash Yoruba" thread that some of our people will swallow without thinking about when ibos start to think good of Yoruba, especially with what they they have been doing for the past 3 days. This is just the latest dope. To mock one's enemies and move on is one thing, but to squat and spread a mat on it and make it their own is strange, and we should be paying attention to this too, because these people are so desperate for more of this that they can almost reenact the crisis, talk of sick minds. They have opened close to a hundred topics about the situation within 3 days. They called us cowards and we said they are bigger cowards, they called us slaves and we said they are the real slaves. Everything has been said and we have heard them, but no, they just want to make the story their own. after1: |
Have you heard anything contrary from any Yoruba? If yes, then it's probably due to your constant cry of "this hates igbos and that hates igbos". Ariani: |
These are lies told by you ibos to make yourselves feel good and for your selfish interests, not a reflection of the reality on the ground. The only refugees in Nigeria are still you ibos, so don't think anyone is taking that from you. Seriously, remove the plank in your eyes before caring about dust in our eyes. And you can keep doing the part you are on and leave us to take care the part we are, we don't need all these back and forth with you ibos. I believe you have said your peace and if it's not enough, the floor is yours. We are not going to to change our stance on you and ibos versions of what happened, that's for your people to feel good, we aren't buying them. People who live in the area have said what happened, and that's the version we will be working with. ChoCandyDiamond: |
@ Op, which area of Ijebu Ode was that? Outdoor activities just got more dangerous! |
Lunatic! youngbyc: |
Nigerians sha! How is that a "suicide letter"? Couldn't they have been people who she felt were after her life? |
No denial at all, I just can't dance to the tune of my enemies. You have already hijacked this, so you can keep it and do it as you want. We will handle it our way when we get all the facts. vislabraye: |
Get your senses checked and learn to say it as it is. What the old man said is true. We are angry at the Hausas now, but telling the story the other way doesn't substitute for us standing up and fighting for our land. 0000A: |
They have done so to you too. It's a terrible thing but there's no tribe that has not been killed by fulani in Nigeria. They even killed your monarch, it doesn't get worse than that. And they have killed more ibos that any other tribe. ChoCandyDiamond: |
The first 27 comments are made by ibos on what supposed to be a Yoruba post. I thought the celebration should be over by now or at least should be wearing off as it's been 3 days already. They are like flies that makes you wonder if they have any other thing they live for. They remind me of a tourist that walked in to a dozen small monkeys and were jumping on him, while one was removing his hat, another one got the glasses and the rest all over him. 99billiondollar: |
If this all you got to say from the interview, you are either not Yoruba or you don't want to address the issues raised. I'm relieved that we now have a reason why Gej that SW voted for couldn't find a position for Yoruba out of 25 key appointments. Hausa/Fulani are insane but they don't hate us like the rest of the south does. 0000A: |
Good but not enough. And some people are talking about south coming together, God forbid! Still the "Regionalism and state police" stupid, since secession is not feasible right now. It's when you sit you can stretch both legs. Regionalism first and the rest will follow. |
Nonsense! May the class Mumu stand up! Truth be told, we can stand up for ourselves and still maintain every great thing in our region. Everything has a borderline, and we have ignorantly crossed from mere being accommodating to cowardly which has earned us the disrespect among Nigerians. We are the only people that do not go looking for trouble in other people's land and we are the greatest hosts in the country, yet we are the ones being derided right on our tuff by whoever wants without even trying. We have no confidence in ourselves. Every great people of the world protect themselves. Which people can our cowardice be compared to in the world? I really need to know! Ambode just sold Yoruba youths and must be made to pay for it, no excuse. How can you continuously put the future of your children in the hands of your neighbors because you want to look good in your street when no one else is doing that? It's called BABA ODE or BABA APA! And makes us look weak and vulnerable. It's not only stuppid but looks like the work of a mad people. Ovamboland: |
It's being proven as we speak in Ajiliti. And Ambode is a big coward and I know you are one too. abacus: |
This is what happens when we leave our stories in the hands of dishonest ibo clowns to tell for us. What stops Yoruba journalists with or without the help of the security agents from being in Ajiliti and interviewing people live home to home? So far the only corroborated part of the story is the cause of the chaos, the rest is different depending on who is telling it, from the police to the page of news paper. I can't see any life reporting on CHANNELSTV. Whichever way we look at it, this really looks bad on us. aresa: |
You are right! Now I know why Yoruba are called cowards, it's for reasons like this one. Yoruba are just ha! It's taking everything in me to not "lose it". What exactly is our problem? What are we afraid of? Why do we like to suffer fools gladly? Pure definition of cowards. Who is going to catch us if we refuse to be A push over? We have to now stand behind order people in our land. What happened to us? I'm thinking of doing a petition to either get him to rescind the appointment or we start campaigning against him from now for his re-election. How can we say we own Lagos with the way our leaders keep putting Yoruba interests at the back burner? What could be so difficult with "Yoruba's interest first"? HalfTruth: |
That "descendant of Oduduwa" is a scam and a line we Yoruba are using to deceive ourselves. How many times have you heard from "Bini" that our Oduduwa is not the same as theirs? The fraud calling themselves "Bini" are not the Yoruba bini. As for Itsekiri, I know, and they are the only people we should be reaching out to in the SS. The imposter "bini" should be a no no! OAUTemitayo: |
Are you Yoruba? And, who's talking about being fair? Why should an important issue like this be left for fairness in the hands of non Yoruba in a country like Nigeria? We keep showing the world that we lack confidence. There must be a curse on Yoruba that, they will never be able to protect what they hold near and dear. What we are doing is the true definition of cowardice. fyneguy: |
May God deliver us from these AKOTILETA leaders who want to please others at the detriment of their own people. In a society such as ours where tribalism reigns supreme, you are using people who don't love you to watch over important issues as this. Why can't the chairman and the members all be Yoruba? Can someone tell me why this woman can't favor her own people over Yoruba? Where else can this happen, nowhere! Only the stuppid Yoruba. Why won't Lagos be called no man's land! |
Tunde Bakare is Yoruba and he knows that nothing in the national conference is favorable to the Yoruba. The state police was killed, and the regionalism was not allowed to sail through. These are what Yoruba asked for but didn't get. So who cares if it's implemented or not? Nothing in it for the Yoruba. mekaboy: |
Hahaha! What a knockout! arresa: |
True, the double standard is appalling! |
