Good one there!
The op is an attention seeking liar who may even be the tenant refusing to pay his Yoruba landlord. The moment I saw "This Yoruba family" in his post, I knew it's a load of cow dung. The poor chap is living out his fantasy on nairaland grin and with all these "I caught", it's only a matter of time before he catches an asteroid. He's probably jobless and frustrated.

Politics › Re: 250,000 Houses For APC States: Nigerians Rebuke Buhari by ycat: 10:41am On Mar 24, 2016
You are asking for what even your own party can't do, it's too much and you will never get it, no president would abandoned his base just because he won an election. His responsibility to his party can't stand in the way of doing his job as the president. You are just wasting your time with your unrealistic expectations of a man you didn't even vote for. Buhari has a blue print that got him to power. Every state in Nigeria gets its dues. The rest is just howling.
rexzqcom:
This view is clearly a tunnel vision of national leadership.
The role of an idea national leader is growth and continuous expansion of base by extending the wisdom of his leadership views to nonproponents of them initially. Sectarianism and preaching to the faithfulls will not earn new converts, growth and expansion of base. Politics is a game of *addition*.
Politics › Re: 250,000 Houses For APC States: Nigerians Rebuke Buhari by ycat: 9:45am On Mar 24, 2016
Again, there will be things Buhari will discuss with his party that won't be extended to pdp states. That's why he ran on a platform and he's bound by its manifesto, part of that is to hold his party governors responsible for the promise made to the people. He doesn't have such responsibility with the pdp. National politics is one, his party politics is another. He's the president but he still have to keep his base together. It's none of Buhari's problem if pdp can't take care of its base. Buhari is giving every state its due, so you can't complain when he gives his party what due it, that's the place he was made, his backbone and source. You guys need to stop getting paranoid.

rexzqcom:
Is it only apc states that have housing shortages?
The problem is national. Since his party agendas won the national consensus as demonstrated by their electoral victory, their agendas should be the national agendas..
If for any reason any states , wether apc or pdp decide to opt out of the programs for their own better conceived one, that will be left for them and their resident citizens. The basic opportunities offered by the ruling party must be for all citizens regardless of parties affiliations. That's national leadership instead of being a sectional leader.

Politics › Re: 250,000 Houses For APC States: Nigerians Rebuke Buhari by ycat: 10:54pm On Mar 23, 2016
You got it mixed up. Buhari told his party leaders to keep one of their campaign promises, how is this pdp's problem? Buhari couldn't have made it a broad issue since he doesn't know what pdp campaigned on. What if pdp didn't have plans to build houses? If Buhari had said all states must build xyz housing units, you same people would still have either called him a dictator or Hitler. The president has the right to address his party and hold them to account on their campaign promise.
rexzqcom:
APC today can be a PDP state tomorrow. APC residents today can for one reason or another be tasked for housings need in a PDP states. These things are fluid, just like interstates roads networks. If you're partial to one section, every sections will eventually suffer the inconveniences.

What did democrats do when they had total control of the house and Senate plus the white house with the magic number 60 for filibuster proof in 2009 and 2010? Even Affordable Care Act only got passed with reconciliation.

Rs can be sent back to Washington, and even picking more seats on the way, thanks to Brussels and Syrian refugees reminder of why Rs are better in protecting Americans. The ever seeing red Blue dogs Ds nko? Centrists voice would be louder
Missy89:
Control of the congress doesn't grantee that any bill will pass. The Gop does not have a filibusterer prove majority in the Senate

Besides, Most GOP senators are up for reelection this November (24 seats to 10 Dem seats). And only few of them have supported Trump anyway

I hope my point is not lost on you. I don't want you to take style to insult my tribe, we Yoruba have not done anything here other than defend ourselves and I would appreciate it if you chastise your people alone.

What makes you think Yoruba are not raising their own army quietly? What makes you think that we share your sentiments? and finally what makes you think that we don't see you as equally dangerous when all we have seen from ibos to us is hatred for no reason. So why do you expect us to listen to what you have to say? Most threads like this have turned to avenues to bash Yoruba. Don't ibos say they prefer Hausa to Yoruba? We should also prefer Hausa because, we know Hausa don't single Yoruba out to hurt, they kill anyone that's not from the north when their insanity kicks in, but ibos hate Yoruba for no reason and would kill all Yoruba if they have the opportunity and can muzzle it.

I appreciate your effort, but trust me most Yoruba will be skeptical of your intention and where this is going since they are not used to seeing anything but hatred from your people.

noblezone:
Your comments are completely off point.
I am calling for the emergence of an Igbo -Yoruba army. The fact we may not be able to work together is well noted.

How ever, I insist that an igbo man who will beat his chest and gyrate just because Yorubas are attacked in their lands should have his head examined.

The same goes for any Yoruba who ties same line.

Look critically, you will discover I didn't take sides.

While I am not suggesting we should hold hands, I am simply saying it is wrong for me to lend a tactical support to the enemy just because they attacked the Yoruba.

Why won't they?
You are clueless, behind and need to get with the program. The people are tired of the old way of doing things and looking for someone like Trump who is not afraid to say what people like you think but scared to death to say out. Better believe it, things are going to be different in Washington. It's a waiting game, both houses will work with Trump if they don't want to have their important bills vetoed.
Missy89:
If you think the US congress will pass a bill preventing someone from coming/transiting to the US from a "certain" countries or because of your religion then you are just as naive as Trump.

People have lost their lives, others are maimed and economic activities have come to a grinding halt.

Trump is vindicated, the undecided voters will now take another look at him. I really like that his proposed bill of being denied entry if you are coming from certain countries or on transit. This is totally uncalled for!
I understand you are frustrated about what's going on, and while you can call on your people any how by any name, under no circumstance will I allow you to insult my people, you don't have that permission unless of course you want to turn your thread to a tribe bashing one. Yoruba and ibos are going the same direction but, we don't have to leave together or move holding hands. You fight for your cause the best way you know how and let us do ours. Forget it, we can never work together.

To be honest with you, the first thing that ibos represent to we Yoruba is SABOTEURS!

Btw, some of your previous posts made sense.

noblezone:
Spot the buffoons.;

They celebrate, rejoice, mock and feel "high" whenever there is news of attacks by our Northern "brothers".

The Igbo buffoons gyrate if the attack happens on a Yoruba territory.

The Yoruba buffoons gyrate if the attack happens on an Igbo territory.

They work so hard to establish their buffoonish supremacy by chest beating themselves unto silliness.

So, our Northern "brothers" would attack a Yoruba community, the Igbo buffoons will cheer the attackers up and jeer the Yoruba down.

Then, our attacking "brothers" will be so inspired. They will attack an Igbo community, then a Yoruba buffoon will cheer up the attackers and jeer the Igbo down.

By and by, our attacking "brothers" are the winners.
They are encircling us, decimating us and taking over our lands.

One day, we shall have Emirs of Onitsha, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Lagos, etc.

Shame on the buffoons.
On this thread, I will take the roll call of All The Igbo and The Yoruba buffoons. if you are one of them, answer present.

They are the proverbial buffoons who chase rats when their house is on fire.
In their buffoonish mentality, they never know they are partners in crime with our Brave Attacking "Brothers".

This is a clarion call to all
Enough of your buffoonish mentalities.
Rise up now and think of how we can collectively defend our lands.

A stitch in time saves nine.

Cheers to all.

Yoruba is not the same as yar'riba but you are too dumb to know that.
Yoruba is the only tribe name and word you can't find in any language vocab. That tells you how special the tribe is. Nupe did this and Alimi did that are stories depending who is telling it, whatever they did, Yoruba did worse among themselves, and we still colonised you and planted our seeds in other countries. Where are your footprints in the world? Nowhere! You are just frustrated cockroaches trying to make a name for yourselves.
