It shouldn't be seen as that at all Apple to Apple.

We want you to have your biafra, but won't allow the insult.

They are two different things, because insulting us won't bring about your biafra.

If you veer off your important issues to start bashing us, you can't blame us when we stop for a minute and reply you. It doesn't change anything, we want it more than anything for you to get own country.
Emancipation:
I understand but you have to realize that the average person with no bias sees it as hypocritical. That's all I am saying.
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat:
None of those has anything to do with their support for biafra.

The oba felt disrespected and did what oba does. Ariyo didn't ask for genocide on igbos. He said something like, "the same reason they were killed in south Africa is happening in Lagos now, and if they are killed". I'm sure it was when he saw the way the Oba was being slammed by your people.

We had no reason to believe that Buhari was behind the killings. And we had no choice than to vote for Buhari when Gej marginalised the SW and didn't perform. It was a case of choosing the lesser of two evils.
Emancipation:
But oba of Lagos threatened Igbos to be killed in lagoon

Dr. Ariyo in America asked for genocide on Igbo

Even Buhari was voted for massively in Sw even though both Yoruba and Igbo youth corpers were killed in 2011 after his threat.
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat: 12:43pm On Mar 08, 2016
Now those are two different things.

I can support you to get biafra, and still say something like you just said on a thread where Yoruba are being bashed.

Believe me, only lunatics want to remain in Nigeria as it is. Nothing works, and we are just delaying the inevitable. But until then, we don't even have to get along, all we need to give each other is respect.
Emancipation:
Ycat the reason why I am asking you this is that I have seen so many Yorubas on this forum with the sme moniker go on one thread and say" I have no problem with Biafra, they can leave" then the same people will go on a different thread and say " kill all this Ipob bastards and hang Nnamdi Kanu".
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat: 12:35pm On Mar 08, 2016
I support you to get your biafra any way you want without dragging us into it. I don't support Kanu because he was calling for Yoruba to be killed and insulting us, when we are in no way in his way to biafra.
Emancipation:
So is safe to say you support Nnamdi Kanu and Ipob? Yes or No?
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat: 12:29pm On Mar 08, 2016
Good, and I support you with all my heart.
I've said it like hundreds of times that Nigeria can't work and not meant to be together. That's why the country looks like it's under a curse, it's not, we are just too different, no common goal.
frleopardo:
If you are among those calling for the disintegration of this country then I have no problem with you and I say more power to your elbows.
Don't worry the igbos would soon leave your lagos in droves when we get biafra.
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat: 12:11pm On Mar 08, 2016
Sango will strike you, Soponna will drown you and Ogun bathe in your blood and everybody in your family dead unless you show me where I ever said you shouldn't go to your biafra.

May devil destroy you and those chanting one Nigeria. We want you out, but you refuse to go, what can I do?
frleopardo:
I support what you say. You might even go ahead to start deporting them, that's okay but if you ever chant 'one nigeria' or sabotage the effort of any group that tries to seceed may thunder strike everybody in your family dead.
If you are not a hypocrite or coward say amen.
Politics › Re: Biafra, Sincerity, Strategy, Justice And Mechanism by ycat:
Enough of posts like this, it doesn't work.

Action is what we need, not necessarily violent though. We can suffocate whoever we want economically in Lagos we can make it less attractive by first banning Okada, that would drive many Hausa and nigeriens away. Yoruba should start patronizing only Yoruba okada now. Increase property taxes by 50% and then refund yoruba through income tax home state government at the end of every year, it is called 'indigenous tax exemption'. Or just go by names and Baale, if they have proof that they are Yoruba. So many ideas that will make even the dead know who owns Lagos.
Politics › Re: Let's See How Many Northerners Are Active On Nairaland by ycat: 11:33am On Mar 08, 2016
You can rant till tomorrow, you know that every point I made is legit.

How could you have had a gathering of northerners without mentioning what happened recently in Lagos? I didn't have to go through the thread, I can smell phony miles away. And there's no such thing as northerners, you only used the term when you want to cheat others. None of the tribes in the north has anything in common except for maybe Hausa/fulani. Heck middle belt want to be called just that.

There are bad in the world, but you made us know what the devil looks like, you put a face on the demons too. And to want to insult people's intelligence by trying to sell a dead rat. No, not here.

malton:
cheesy

You did raise one valid point, albeit in the wrong tone fraught with bad mannerism. The rest was sheer balderdash.

Obviously, there wasn't any mention or expression of regrets over the mile 12 incident. But that's not to say that most people on here approve of, condone or encourage any such acts of irresponsibility. People are what/who they are, I've seen good, bad and ugly people among most tribes I've come across, should I then classify everyone else in a category owing to the activities of a misguided few?

You came on here, not to seek understanding, but to throw diatribes and tantrums like some spoilt kid.

You were too eager to criticise much so that you couldn't even read the thread for what it is. It's a shame, really!

What about the issues I raised? I know you won't touch that, because it's an indictment on your integrity, conscience and all that make you a human.

Oh oh! Laugh at your attempt to sound intelligent. That's expected when you have nowhere to hide. What's unbelievable here, that I called you out? You must have felt Nairaland is just full of only stuppidd people. You haven't seen anything yet, you will never succeed in pulling wool over people's eyes.

You have to learn to be a human being in this very life you have first before you think of your next life, because none of your kind will ever come back as human. You are definitely coming back as stones.
malton:
Really? You're super unbelievable! That was lame, but it's a free world.
In your next life, please, seek understanding and discernment, it seems like you're skew-sighted!
Politics › Re: How To Stop Hausa/Fulani Ethnic Violence? (Suggestions) by ycat:
You said it all! I feel sorry for my people who are so complacent. You are right, they will do it again and again. I just can't believe that our Aiye and Eiye couldn't mobilize and go door to door and kill off all the Hausa in Lagos. Like you said, unless we start fighting back with even more violence, that's it for us.

Some were even calling on the leaders who are so embarrassed that the area boys didn't litter the street with Hausa's bodies. The iddiotts were chanting war songs, when they should have treated it like cold shower by killing them fast and disappear before the soldiers get there.

In my opinion, the cultist shouldn't wait for Hausa to start, there should be periodical pre-emptive killings of the Hausa to keep them in check.
SirShymexx:
Err, before I get banned again: let me drop some science for you cowardly suckers. Everybody loves peace cos the peaceful period is always the best periods of everyone’s lives: a period when you don’t have to watch ya back nor worry about someone bullying/attacking you. However, peace and violence are two parallel words on the extreme opposite. And you don’t jaw jaw when dealing with violent people. Violence can only be neutralised by more violence. Then after getting the initiator of the violence in a corner, where you hold the cards, that’s when you can preach peace. By doing that- you’ve been able to put fear in the mind of the violent person and next time the person will abide by the rule of: look before you leap. And you won’t become an easy target next time.

This is why I always tell folks to study history and pay attention to the dynamics of the world cos that’s the best way for folks to understand human psychology about how humanity is wired and the sociology of our existence. When you look at the world history and the reason why certain groups dominate the rest – look no further than the violence they used in achieving that status and how they’ve maintained the status quo systematically through violence. Europeans are a classic example. Europeans have always been an aggressive and violent bunch. That’s their formula, hence they were/are able to conquer and lord over everyone – and are still doing so. When the rest were peaceful and using gun powder for peaceful purposes, the Europeans saw that it’s a great asset for a killing machine. Hence they decide to make guns and cannons. After that, the permutations in human history changed and they went on to conquer the world and for global domination. And they have been able to sustain that domination via systematic violence. That’s why you see them bombing any country that doesn’t play by their rules to the stone age. It’s a way of killing people’s morale and putting fear in them.

The European strategy is also the Hausa/Fulani strategy and all their attacks aren’t spontaneous – they’re well coordinated/planned for total domination. Hence the average Nigerian fears the Hausa/Fulani and they’ve millions of foot soldiers everywhere they can call on anytime to unleash mayhem. And the only way you counter that is to always reciprocate the gesture with more venom. If that had been the case, they wouldn’t have been brave enough to fight Yorubas in Lagos. When it kicked off, they would’ve been the ones escaping from Lagos en-masse, not the other way around.

Personally, I’ll always reference my pops as the reason why there’s no sucker in my family. Growing up, it was a taboo in my family to cry or go report at home when you get smacked by someone who’s ya age-mate. It’s either you fight back or suck it in. That’s why I don’t fear anyone as long as the person bleeds like me. There was this bully at my school growing up. This guy used to bully everyone cos he was quite big. The day he tired it with me – I just waited till after school and planked his arse. After that, he never tried the nonsense with me and we became buddies cos he knew what time it’s. And he’s still one of my closest friends.

I’m out!

What's the specific purpose of this thread at this time? Has any of the "northerners" here condemned what happened in Mile12 and Ajiliti?

To the Yoruba who are jumping on this thread, expressing anything and calling yourselves "northerners", you need your heads checked if you don't know that, considering the timing, this is a thermometer thread created to feel your pulse and get into your heads to know what you think about the real north, the Hausa/fulani now.

It was only in Oyo state it was reported that your people were self registering on their own, so why would anyone chicken out?

You have chosen to live your lives the way of the animals and you are now almost like Ebola people avoid. Goat can only reach what's on the floor. And the only reasons you have been getting away with all this is, our people are still sleeping. If your human part is greater than that of the animals, you would know that, everything with a beginnin has an end. Your time is about up. It is getting to the point where the final blood bath will give us all what we want. South Sudan got their country after years of pogroms.

Believe it, Yoruba gets anything they put their minds to, and this is the first time I'm hearing from the people that are in the know that, Nigeria will separate.

Keep doing what you do, you have a long wrap sheets of genocidal records all over the world, and you are just one step closer to getting your country. You will now be rejected wherever you go once Yoruba, the most tolerant reject you.

outside Abuja, Yoruba that are still living in any part of the north are on their own, the region is no longer what it used to be, heck! I even stopped a friend who wanted to vacation in Abuja from going there, cos your surrounding are just so unpredictable now.

I recall how some ppl easily chickened out after they started such nonsense under the guise of security by detaining and registering northerners en-route their region; only to immediately call for a truce when northerners threatened to sue them to court and take retaliatory actions, including seriously considering breaking away. - how times fly; they have obviously forgotten and maybe need to be reminded again.

You all have a point but that doesn't mean each of u ain't wrong! You have shown the world why the south will continue to suffer. No unity.
The North won't fight themselves like this!
Why the senseless hatred!
The sad truth is I expected the leaders of the Yoruba community to express strong dissatisfaction with the recent happenings in Lagos.Afenefere,Tinubu the Jagaban,Ambode, etc ought to show strength by speaking up for their people.Imagine if this happened in the North,El-Rufai,Arewa,Sanusi etc will not let is hear word.Remember how PMB reacted some years back about the killings of BH?!
Even the commissioner of police Lagos state said the killings are devoid of ethnic coloration and fighting, even with so many eye witness accounts. He wants to bury the truth without regard for the lives lost because he wants to please the government in power which is made up of mostly northerners.
The Southern Governors are also not helping matters;there shud be a southern governors forum.
Because they did not condamn the killings in the SS and SE doesn't mean we Shud not condamn the evil done in their land. What is evil is evil. The North will continue to use our senseless hatred against us.
I'm proudly SS,Born in the North and lived most of my life in Lagos!
We cannot keep on fighting ourselves and allow the real enemy to thrive.
We Shud leave myopic political sentiments aside and face this menace squarely!angry
No tribe has monopoly over violence!
After all "he who makes peaceful change impossible, makes violent change inevitable".
Enough is enough of enduring these senseless killings in the name of peace!
We Shud rise up as one.
I'm not advocating for the breakup of this our beloved country but for equality, peace and justice.
If matching violence with violence will lead to peace,so be it.
Enough of these senseless and animalistic killings!angry
It's very obvious from recent happenings that this government is bias, tribalistic, insensitive and filled with double standards. No need waiting on the government to provide solutions.

If this lets you sleep well at nights, good for you. But the news is, whatever you and your bini do, not even an inch of Lagos would follow you, and of course every one of you foreigners who wish to be law abiding can stay with resident permits and there will be a path to something like Japanese paper but never a citizenship to live there. If Nigeria breaks all you will be worried about is how to get out not how to lose your lives on the land you didn't bring along when you came. Every land in Lagos has a family name and history attached to it, nothing is out of the thin air.

On the other hand if it's regionalism, it's still good. We will vote out the kiss ass leaders like Ambode unless he start seeing only Yoruba. We will still be welcoming but we will be Yoruba oriented that you won't have any choice than to leave. Every bill in the state house will be how to screw non Yoruba in favor of our people. We will subsidize every goods you deal in for Yoruba to have upper hand. It will have to be really bad for most of you to continue to stay in Lagos. Yoruba will have ID cards that will be prohibited for aliens like you to hold. So many ideas to make you think home without firing a shot.

Secession or Regionalism, it's a win-win situation for we the Yoruba.

ChoCandyDiamond:
I like your writeup, but other tribes in Nigeria cannot hand over Lagos to Yorubas easily like that if Nigeria divide, Lagos and Abuja nobody can predict what will happen in this two cities and who is going to be the owner, remember that Bini kingdom is the owners of Lagos before Lagos was taken from them by the British colonizers, the battle for the soul of Lagos if Nigeria breaks is going to be brutal and the strongest will possess it, the Hausa-fulani have already shown that in the past few days,I bet you that they no born any Igbo or Yoruba well make e attempt what they did in Lagos in any part of the North and we all know what the outcome will be. The baning of Fulani herdsmen in Ondo state cannot work because one cannot serve two masters at the same time, the Nigerian law supersedes every state law and there is freedom of movement of Nigerians in any part of the country. The only way out is for all the southerners to support the restructuring of Nigeria and the implementation of confab report, start state police and go back to true federalism or regionlisation, anything less than this, you guys are just chasing shadows, you cannot ban a particular set of people from your state under the current Nigeria system, those that are rejoicing about Ondo ban on fulani herdsmen suppose to know that the ban is just like toothless bull dog

0YorubaParapo0:
That and after1, great job so far. You two captured everything on my mind.

The SW shouldnt allign with any other southern group because it is quite obvious that everyone is always looking for bad news in Yorubaland. We Yorubas have no friend in the North or South. We need to break from the mentality that Itsekiris and Edos are family, because they're not. Yoruba worry about Yoruba and no one else at this point. This is the moment Yoruba governors and entities need to come together to find solutions to Yoruba enemies, intruders and afonjas. This is beyond APC/PDP....this is for Yorubaland before we have no more Yorubaland to talk about.

While other tribes are becoming more ethnocentric, we Yorubas are losing our ways in order to accommodate one Nigeria in the SW. It's nothing to be proud of.

Let us, awa omo Oduduwa, come together to solve the problems in Yorubaland.

Trust me, the Igbos who are dying to align with the Yorubas by claiming that they're more harmless than Hausa Fulanis are the same ones throwing grand parties to celebrate the Mile 12 attack. Eyin eyan mi, e ronu o. The former is just as dangerous as the latter. What igbos don't understand, because they're often shortsighted, is that should violence break out in the SW, they won't be spared, just like the Mile 12 artack. Igbos were killed and their properties destroyed.

Mo n be awon omo Yoruba, please mind your business when it comes to Biafra. It's not our battle nor our agitation. We want Nigeria divided too, so why are we mocking an agitation that will divide her? Let each person bear him papa name o.

To my Yorubas in the North, make una come home o. Things are about to get hot with SW politics against these Fulani herdsmen monsters. I beg each and every Yoruba person to arm yourself anytime you see these parasite. If they smile at you, Waka. They have no respect for human life.

Of course our leaders won't publicly voice their opinion. Ambode said what any person in his position is supposed to say. We can only demand for our leaders come together to do the rightful thing before these monsters turn a majority tribe into a minority.

Yoruba, e ronu o. A word is enough for the wise.
