Lolz, this one will never thank God he met something. You left your wife for good 20 years, and you think she would remain the same. |
Traditional banks are safe because they have physical branches, Opay, Moniepoint, kuda, etc are not because they are online. Una see for yourselves now. |
blackgold2018:It is all about charismatic and love. Are you telling me the North love Shettima more than they do for Kwankwaso? Did Shettima commanded respect from Northerners than Kwankwaso? Besides, the expected candidate from major opposition in Atiku is owing from North East too, and that will definitely influence Shettima commanded votes in 2027. Anyway we are just here talking about what we might not know, Tinubu is not likely to change Shettima I think. |
blackgold2018:Nothing like that will happen if he pick one of them again, especially if the person is more influential than Shettima . Politics is a game of numbers, you don't deal with someone who cannot command large numbers of votes as expected. For instance, Obi would've won that election if he had picked an influential Northerner who can bring 3 millions votes in 2023 presidential election. Tinubu is not just a politician but field marshal in the game of politics. His judgment, whether he retain Shettima or not will always lead to his victory as incumbent. |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:I understood how greedy they are, reason I said they should rather lower their price and compete with imported rice. However, you don't compare livestock with plantation of stable food like rice, maize, beans, etc Besides, animals too feed on plants produce by plantation farmers, so it logical to subsidise the plantation of these plants that will eventually bring down the cost of feeding our animals. Farming are mostly subsidise anywhere in the world, and the best way to do this in Nigeria is to provide the aforementioned items to them for ultimum cheap productions. |
Every country with large population like ours imported food items, they should rather lower their price to compete with imported rice. Government should as a matter of urgency provide free fertiliser, tractors and security for farmers. They should as well build solar for selected big Millers to help them save cost in their production. These are the things Government should do for them, no one should give them monetary loan or grant again. |
Nnamdipapa:A minimum wage where you are is $15 per hour, yet you are comparing it to a place that 6k for that create of eggs is someone 2 or 3 days wages. Besides, a creat of eggs I am seeing in your picture is more than 30 pieces they sell here. If an hour minimum wage could be enough to buy a crate of eggs, it mean you can literally buy all your food stuffs for a whole month with just 5 days wages. Please don't ever compare Nigeria with any other place on earth again. The country is gone, only a true federalism or total disintegration can put us on the path of development. With new country or regional autonomy, the new constitution of each region/country would be thoroughly examine carefully to align with 21st century society. |
AllBlack:You are a very smart guy, unlike op who think he can easily sleep with her. Once a girl know you had already know her as wayward girl, she will never mess around with you again in order to prove point. Like you'd rightly said, if she ever look his side, she will milk him dry and embarrass him at the end. |
JackDaAlienz:Lolz, she won't date or sleep with you as long as she knew you had over heard them accusing each other. |
Can't waste my money buying a book written by these type of wealthy men. When someone from grass to grace share their life time experiences, then I can buy. Give me just 100m naira and come back in the next 3 years to see me. 90% of newly established businesses fold up because of lack of money or access to good loan. I am talking from 100% experience as entrepreneur, if you are a young guy, and you don't have good capital to start up a good business in Nigeria, it is better you find a salary job that pay little or japa if you can afford. The current economic reality do not allow small scale business who don't have access to capital to survive or make a reasonable progress in the long run. |
Penguin2:But you saw Ondo among the least with just 27% right? I wonder what you guys gain from being tribalists, You don't compare SW states with other zone base on their closeness to economic hub in Lagos. |
Lifestone:He probably forgotten that we are no longer in ancient time. In those days, Alaafin would've sent his armies to restore order in domain of any king doing contrary to his will. I agree with you that this man should behave like a civil person henceforth. |
Kindledlight:That was why I said anyone that knows better should enlighten me. You can post a genuine one here if you have, we are all learning in one way or the other. |
Kog45:Their rivery has been in existence for ages now, preserving their prestige and history is more important to them than anything else in this world. |
Tenisam:Is the link you posted here contains the history you were asking me to go back to? We are talking about history, this one is posting a link of Oba ranking opinionated by Alake. I am 100% sure you don't know Jack about this subject matter. |
softy:I understand your point, but if Oduduwa actually met some organised people or people whose their lineage were King's from rulling house, how come he became first Ooni of Ife? If the title of Ooni was first established or used by Oduduwa, how come those rulling houses accepted to use it when they are never his lineage? If Oduduwa is regarded as originator of Yoruba and its history by both side, why are those people he met at Ife whose their lineage are rulling class claiming or fighting to represent what belong to Oduduwa? Since those he met in Ife were not directly related or his procreation, why are they trying to represent him or taking up his glory? In Yoruba land, Obas are appointed from males children of King's from rulling class, so where were people of rulling House when Okanbi his son ascended his father throne? Or was there no rulling class back then or was automatically created after Oranmiyan left the throne for Adimula? Lastly, why were King's paid homages to only Alaafin in entire Yoruba empire and not Ooni of Ife? |
From the book of history, Alaafin of Oyo empire is the real son of Oduduwa with first hand access to his dynasty. Oranmiyan being the last son of Okanbi, after his other six brothers has left Ile-ife, appointed Adimula as a place holder when he was about to leave. Oranmiyan eventually settle at present Oyo empire and became first Alaafin. It was learnt that all Yoruba King's were used to pay homages to only Alaafin as supreme king in Yoruba land. The Ooni title/ rulling houses in Ile-Ife Town of today are lineage of Placeholder Adimula. If we are to judge by history, Ile-Ife is ancestral home of Yoruba, and Alaafin of Oyo is the head of Oduduwa (the founder of Yoruba ethnic) dynasty. Therefore, he is the one in right position to appoint Yoruba cultural leaders. But in another instance, if Oranmiyan 6 other brothers could not return to claim their father's throne, Alaafin too should not be poking noses on what is going on in his ancestral home. If he is to claim right, he should simply fight for his father throne and become Ooni, even in far away Oyo empire. Maybe someone who know better can enlighten me on this. |
Fiscus105:Lolz, I was once like you, until I got exposes to some certain things that changed my perspectives about those I usually called lazy or unserious fellows. Sane countries takes care of their children and old people. They takes care of their unemployed youths till they get jobs. They provide quality education at avoidable rate and even provided comfortable loan service for students from poor homes. They ensure robust economy policies that can give room for jobs creations. They ensure access to quality health service even if you are poor. What am I even saying, food is next to nothing in saner climes that even if you don't earn much, you should be able to feed your family. The lists are endless, and if at this level of your education, you don't know that there is limit to what an average citizen can do in the midst of unfortunate society, then you need to return that certificate. Like citizen like leaders, you all love and admire western countries but can't do what they are doing to attain such level of development. |
Kennitrust:Nigerians are reflection of those rulling them. See the kind of criteria someone is putting up as reason for poverty. While it is important to emphasis on individual struggles as regards to their development, society plays a pivotal role in determination of what her citizens will become. Nigerians are not lazy at all, some don't even have work to do even though they wanted to work. Some prefer to stay at home because they will use all their pays on transportation. Majority of successful people today normally get opportunity from somewhere that changed their lives for good. Is it the same youths you pay less than 70k per months that you are expected to achieve something tangible in life withiout being into fraud or engage in social vises. A wise people knows that societies, backgrounds and opportunities along the journey of life determine how far an individual can go in life. If you studies American and European system, you will never blame your country men for being poor again. |
brain54:Self control and discipline can't save you when it come to a woman that is your spec or the kind you have been fantasising about. With that type of dream woman, your self control will fail you if she really push herself to sleep with you. What really safe a man from this kind of temptation is the moral value he hold towards it. Knowing fully well that it is morally wrong to sleep with your brother or someone else wife will forever liberate you from such incidents. |
goatandyam:You are very wrong, Sango and Obatala are humans like you and I who live bravely as warriors in the earlier age in Yoruba land. Though the story about their doing might be well exaggerated but they were very real. As for the methuselah and Co in the bible, you can never tell if their own calculation of years is what we called days or weeks now. If 30 days was regarded as a year those days, then it is possible for them to live up to 900 years or more. |
My favourite Ebenezer Obe is still alive |
There is motivation to put more effort in white and green Jersey now. Players might be rich but at least $100k and landed property in Abuja are still something. |
callthefred:Repayment period means a duration in which the loan obtained would be pay back. For instance, if your loan is 1m, you will be giving an opportunity to split the repayment for 5 years. It doesn't mean computation of amount but period you are expected to pay back your obtainable loan. It was clearly started in the article. |
Not only entertainment industry but majority of big businesses, including real estate and hotels you see today. |
phr0nesis:A girl that can withstand adolescent pressure upto her 20s is not likely to cheat in marriage. Her type can endure sex for years if their husbands is not around. Only 2 of 100 can cheat in marriage, and that would be after a series of domestic abuse or negligence by their husbands. Nothing beat marrying a virgin. |
