Michelle70:Ordinarily, some of you are not suppose to be discussing politics. The same wike that benefit immensely from the opposition he supported? Wike knows it is the turn of the South, and it is not likely for the North to support any fresh candidate from the South. That man is not your regular politicians that don't think before embarking on a mission. Any southerner contesting against Tinubu that has only 4 years to spend before power return to the North is just wasting his time and resources. No smart politician would've attempted such. The best ticket to restle power from Tinubu is Atiku/Obi ticket like 2019. |
All my life, i had never dated my age mate, let alone someone older by wide margin. If my son bring this kind of women to me, I won't approve the union. |
iscom:He can't win, APC are majority in the North, and ADC will also take a chunk of votes if Atiku run under it. Those eying presidency in 2031 under APC will still deliver for the incumbent instead of PDP where they don't have opportunity to do so. PDP votes in the South will most likely split between the loyalists of Tinubu and him, while that of APC will remain intact. The only ticket that could defeat or almost defeat the incumbent is Atiku/Obi ticket, any other person from the South can't win because it won't make any sense for majority of APC stakeholders in the North to back another party candidate when they have brighter opportunities in the same time frame in their party when it is turn of the North. |
Lolz, is like this one don't know that Japa opportunity is way above middle class, let alone suffering Nigerians. Let just hope he turns things around because if he wins next election, and economy continue to be manage like this, only God can tell the fate of an average Nigerian. |
Brendaniel:Below is aviation act 2022, I have the 95 pages with me, and these are few sections that talk about K1 offense. No section is talking about imprisonment withiout an option of fine. The section you deliberately quoted was talking about Endangering Aircraft operation, which is specifically channelled towards the pilots in charge of operation( go and read the section to the end). K1 offense can be specifically group with " Assault, intimidation, or interference with crews". I will say it again, 6 month no fly place on someone like K1 who travel alot is more severe and painful than to ask him to pay fine. Judging from this Aviation act, if you are a smart fellow, you should know that taking him to court where he will have an option to pay fine is a pure waste of time for prosecutors. The 6 month no fly is more appropriate and painful for such offense than asking him to pay fine( since is not a known terrorist or committing felony). Besides, the man has apologise for the wrong doing, I wonder why you people are hell bent on calling for his head. The Civil Aviation Act of 2022, specifically Sections 75, 81, and 83, outlines penalties for various passenger offenses in Nigeria. These include unauthorized entry into aerodromes, endangering aircraft operations, and acts of intimidation or interference with crew members. The Act also addresses compensation for flight delays and cancellations under the Consumer Protection Regulations. Here's a breakdown of specific offenses and their corresponding penalties: Unauthorized Entry into Aerodromes: Section 75 of the Civil Aviation Act 2022 prescribes a fine of at least 500,000 Naira, imprisonment for at least six months, or both for entering an aerodrome without permission. Endangering Aircraft Operations: Section 81 stipulates that operating an aircraft in a dangerous manner can result in a fine of at least two million Naira or imprisonment for two years, or both. Hijacking: Section 83 outlines severe penalties for hijacking, including a fine of at least 25 million Naira or life imprisonment. Assault, Intimidation, or Interference with Crew: Section 85 addresses passenger misconduct towards crew members, such as refusing to comply with instructions (like turning off electronic devices) and imposes a fine of 200,000 Naira or a two-month prison sentence. Compensation for Flight Delays and Cancellations: The Consumer Protection Regulations (Part 19 of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023) address passenger rights related to flight disruptions. Airlines are required to provide refreshments and communication options for delays, and offer compensation for cancellations, including cash reimbursements for full ticket costs. I attach the link and pdf file for you now, go and read the section you quoted here with proper understanding. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://ncaa.gov.ng/media/sxxn42yu/civil-aviation-act-2022-publi9cation.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiH6cWluICPAxWUVUEAHZK5KZkQFnoECF8QAQ&usg=AOvVaw1Blkpul3U1RosFmTQ9YJIL |
Sellfish:You are a learner , the refusal to endorse any successor is a deliberately act by these men of God. They know if they suddenly die today, their empires will be force to adopt their sons because no senior member will accept one another to take over. So, the committee will eventually settle for their sons in order to avoid leadership crisis and shame on the church. |
alpharoyalty:Me sef tired, I don't even know what this boy is doing for a living. I only came across his story recently on nairaland when they says PHD holders were queueing for his job. True true, alot of Nigerians has nothing to do with their times or probably their lives. |
Brendaniel:Lolz, for you to be comparing K1 offense to this man in the video, it mean you know absolute nothing about the law. The man in the video committed felony by using inciting false statement that could cause civil unrest if left unchecked. No government will fold her arms and allow an individual to be making a false claim amidst political tension in the state, it is not done anywhere in the world. Go and read aviation law/acts pertaining K1 offense, if you cant have access to one, at least you can use Google. K1 has been giving appropriate punishment according to aviation act or law, it is you guys that are just too emotional and ignorance about law. Contrary to your assumption, I am apolitical, I belong/support no one, ethnicity or group, I only approach issues objectively in accordance with reality on ground. |

You are yet to answer my question sir, what punishment do you think he deserves other than this? I need to know your stand on this issue before I enlighten you about the gravity of his offense. |
malali:What punishment do you think the court could've giving him better than this? How would you establish that the content in his bottle is actually an Alcohol? What if he is ignorantly protesting his right too at the moment? Was it his fault that the security personels at the place could not do their job by forcefully remove him? Finally, how did you know the air staffs and pilots are telling the truth? |
If Jonathan is smart, he should've known by now that they don't really love his coming back but only the fact that he is constitutionally restricted to serve only one term to complete southern president. North don't want Tinubu again, but knows that any candidate from the zone would be automatically rejected by southerners and key players from the North who has been focusing on 2031. They don't want to support another southerner too, who will be constitutionally allow to serve two terms. These people know the almighty power of incumbent, especially the one that know how to use it like Tinubu, they know it is already gain over with Northern candidate or fresh face from the South, hence their attempt to bring someone that entire North and majority of South can align with. The reality is that, we should all support and pray for this administration to get it right because, even if you don't vote for him, Tinubu will use federal might to rig off the oppositions, and you won't get rigging evidence to contend with in court. If Wike abracadabra could stand withiout Tinubu federal might, imagine the massive votes he would get from River, Lagos, Abuja, entire SS, SW and NC this time. |
Security personnels at Airport should all be arrested instead. This show of shame would not have happened if they had done their work. The suspension of the irrational pilots and 6 months no fly ban on K1 is an appropriate punishment on both side. |
Kobojunkie:Unfortunately, I don't have. He should find one by himself. He need love at the moment, not friends. He need something that will elevate his body and soul. That beautiful smile, soft touch and encouragement from his lovely girlfriend has a long way to do in his healing process. He should just avoid gold digger or wayward girl, that is all. |
SultanYoung:He is different to an average guy you could see around ,not because of anything but his wealth and celebrity status. Mr. Easy is not poor too, he can easily find another girl from top class home if he wish. She marry him, not because of his attitude but because he is not poor and command celebrity status. |
DisLifeSha:You don't need friends but something that will occupied your time and mind. Do what you love doing at your lonely hours, you may as well need intimate love from a girl. You seriously need love at this moment, and that special love can only be found in a girl that care about you. |
Deeprooted:If a woman says they cheated you, just know she is 100% right they do. The right thing you should've done is to ask her the right price and use it to bargain next time. You will be amazed she could be right or almost right. |
How I wish your parents that sent you to school see this. Face your studies and excel in life, women are the easier beings to have in abundance if you are successful. |
No president can singlehandedly do that withiout the knowledge or help of the indigenous people, the fact that Buhari was unable to achieve Ruga scheme is more than enough for this man to learn from. |
Putinofrussia:I have said this several times on Nairaland but people will quickly tag you as pro governmnet supporter. Nigeria has never had visionary leaders since 1966 when military took over the government. There were never a time Nigerians are not suffering, it is just that we don't have Internet and few people live in the cities back then. Purchasing power was extremely low back then but majority were into back yard farming, which gives them majority of stable foods unlike today. Also, only few people used cars or have any need to buy petrol or kerosene, so they dont care much about increment in pump price or dollar. People make money more easily these days than those days. Politicians embezzled public fund with reckless abandoned, reason you see their great grandchildren still commanding millions of dollars despite their father being the politicians in 70's, 80's or 90's. |
Soulsymbol99:Everything is not about physical protest as always done by Sowere. I really love the man, and i always wish he become a leader in this country but you see his aluta attitude has begins to make him look unserious to many. Imagine him carried a briefcase containing tooth brush, toiletries and sponge for police invitation. This unnecessary show of immaturity portrayed him as someone making a joke of the situation. Maybe he has been treated like VIP at police custody before, reason he did not see any reason to respect the law enforcement agency. |
onatisi:It is not only married men of 50 years and above but all men in monogamous marriage. Men are not wired to be having sex with only one woman for the rest of their lives. It get to a point that the real pleasure won't be there again during sex with your wife. There are two remedy to renew the lost intimate urge; 1. You stay apart for awhile like 3 months. 2. You have sex with another woman. No. 2 is the fastest remedy but I won't recommend it for anyone who is not rich enough, because it is destructives, especially if you are someone that still struggling to be liberated from poverty. |
Atiku/obi like 2019 ticket must have been agreed on before they even came up for the coalition, it is only political novices that don't know this. Tinubu and APC has already knows this, reason they are trying to mop up all votes from SS, SW and NC. They will still get significant votes from NW and NE. Meanwhile, Atiku/Obi ticket will definitely win NW, NE and SE. The winner will be determine by margin votes in entirely North. APC still have upper hands here, because there is possibility of them winning entire South and North Central with a wide margin. They will also get substantial amount of votes in NW and NE. The gentleman power rotation between North and South has already jeopardize the chances of coalition. |
$100k is not a peanut to an average female footballer, so everyone should understand their grievance. Well meaning Nigerians should come up to compensate them as well, they truly deserve being honoured too. |
ufotunang:Yes, and that is why we must not copy this dangerous law in this part of the world. "Child right law" should only focus on child abuse, such as child labour, rape or killing. A natural little child can only be moulded through discipline and little spank with cane by their parents. If you had ever be with little kids, you will understand how sturbbon and insincere they could be. The only people that can mould and integrate a child into a large society is their parents, so any law that is giving a child who know nothing about what is good or bad an undue independent right or excessive freedom is only placing her society on a time bomb waiting to explode. I'm 100% certain that in no distance future, the west will rewrite this law, just like the way Trump and some other western leaders are banning homosexuality. |
Ekejoestar:Alot of African kids has unlimited access to their father local guns/weapons but won't get provoke to the extent of killing them due to excessive fear and discipline being imposed by their parents. This is a result of poor upbringing of a child, you don't allow children to have excessive freedom or behave like they have special right under your care. You train them by your own rules, until they are fully mature to take a reasonable decision on their own. It is quite unfortunate that alot of African parents are copying this unsafe western style of rasing a kid in the name of being woke. The result has already being seen in the lives of the so called Gen-z, and it is just a matter of time that they start killing their parents or send them to jail too. |
That is why this country need to follow the path of true federalism to make a meaningful progress. Every tribe or society have a special way of settlling issues within them. Give each geopolitical zone a total control of their affairs and see how peace will return to entire country. These terrorists are mostly carries out their jihads because of their hatred for the southerners they see as unbelievers and western ideology form of government. They will most likely listen to their religion leaders and regional government and get along by little encouragement to embrace civility. |
Reflect7:Drugs trafficking is not peculiar to only Igbos, other tribes too are always involves. The only difference is that, Yorubas carry their drugs to less strict drug regulation western countries in collaboration with highly connected catels, while Igbo are found of taking theirs to less developed strict drug regulation countries in Asia/central America with little or no highly connected catels. Hausa takes their to majoriy Arab countries with little or no drug regulation during pilgrimage. Besides, Igbos are fearless and risk takers, while a typical Yoruba drug trafficker might be afraid of going or deliver to a particular country, Igbo might not think twice to do so due to their fearless nature. Another thing I observe is, Yoruba or Hausa drug trafficker would rather do it alone and take care of people around him but their Igbo counterpart would rather be stingy and tell his people to risk their lives too like him. That make alot of them desperate to be rich like their brother withiout being equipped very well before embacking on the mission. In conclusion, whoever got caught is always call a theif, that igbos are always caught in the act due to their unprocessed risk taking does not mean other tribes are not guilty as well. |
Evergreen4:He started it, reason other keep doing the same. If he has summoned all the team members and compensate them, other would not be doing it separately. One thing about Nigeria politicians is that, once one person do something and get media attention, other will definitely follow the same step. |
Daniel058:He was speaker of house of representative. Nigeria has two legislatives bodies. Senate - upper house of representative ( headed by Senate president/ 3rd citizen) Representative- lower house of representative, ( headed by Speaker/ 4th citizen). |
National teams coaches are paying monthly, while players are only paying match bonus or participation allowances. Coaches are hire to do the job and get paid irrespective of whether the team win or not. Anything giving to coaches for winning trophies are bonus or gifts because it is what they were paid to do. |
MufasaLion:Lol, may life never happened to you to the extent of being rejoicing to eat your enemies food. You sounded like inexperience person about real life situation. Someone can pampered you but still don't want your progress, someone can give you life but still take it back in another way. Nature has a way to tell us or make us identify genuine people in our lives. Like I said before, alot of things we don't know might responsible for his action. The early you understand that humans are not as loyal and love like God or even dogs, the better for you. You can feed and clothes humans for 50 years and becomes their everlasting enemy from a single wrong doing by you. That is the nature of human beings. Aside what I stated in my previous post, some people don't know how to appreciate, not that they don't value what you do for them or intentionally doing it the other way but because they just don't see it as wrong. They will thank you genuinely at that moment but that is all. It is their nature, they might even love you more than the person doing eye service by praising you. I will say it again, you can only know ungrateful people when you are also in need of help and they fail or refuse to reciprocate when they have the capacity to do so. |

...Isn't it far wiser to settle any succession issues while alive than plunge the church into disarray upon his demise?
