It's a first stage approval that permits you to commence your studies online while you wait for final decision on your application.. it was used during the first wave of covid-19 few months back too. Debbyiiii: |

From what I have read from past threads about "Recommend interview", it is often a positive sign. They may require further documents to clarify some reservations they still have or the senior officer may just overlook and approve it.. Keep your fingers crossed and PRAY for goodluck. It shall end in Praise in Jesus name. Celoexpress: 3 Likes |

There's a short review labelled as "Text" , it is often found towards the end of the pages. Mine was on page 43 of 44pages. It explains the VO's line of thought and decision made after reviewing your application. Celoexpress: 2 Likes |

When you click on IRCC link for the imm-forms, on the page that pops up, check the top navigation bar, there is a download sign there. Click on it .. minimise the page and then go to your downloads or documents , look for the imm-form from the file list, right click on it so the drop-down list can pop up and choose " open with Adobe" option . NOTE: Adobe has to be an updated version(atleast 10). elizyous: 2 Likes |

"Held" simply means you should outline all the positions you have held since you got your appointment. I am a civil servant too and what I did is to write out the title of positions I have held from one promotion to the other and their respective dates since after appointment. silvamania: 1 Like |

"Somebody has been on this thread for donkey years since the beginning and is still here actively commenting because of the goodness of his heart". See the nonsense and condescending generalisation spewing from your message above. " Madam know it all and nobody should argue with me ". You argue with emotions and not objectively and you should learn to do better!!! Are you then insinuating that all the folks that has been active on this thread are doing it for financial gains? We have heard and noticed you on this thread. Ngwa bye !!!! Luckymama: 2 Likes |

What "ulterior motive" could frankrobbn really have, has he ever advertised or promulgated himself a lawyer or as being part of any judicial committee .. When trying to make a point, however valid or passionate we feel about it, we should try and be careful with the words we use. He is not perfect but we can't deny that he has been helpful to many on this thread without any bias or prejudice towards any member (new/old), I am not the type to lick anybody's a.. regardless of how helpful they have been to me but still HABA !!! Which one be ulterior motive on top this matter now? That u have gotten your AIP on your second application doesn't suddenly make you a Guru on immigration matters too. Make your point and let whomever is concerned make their own decision. Luckymama: 9 Likes 1 Share |

Lol nothing do you o jare. No vex . So many of us are on edge as it is, while I guess some with AIP are already busy with online class. Now to your enquiry; The documents looks good but u need to conscientiously ask yourself; 1. What documents can u include to prove personal asset or home ties that will satisfy the VO that u will return? 2. Is your chosen program of study related to your educational/career background ? 3. Is your Statement of Purpose articulate and convincing enough? After satisfying all the questions detailed above ,leave the rest to baba GOd “the ultimate VO. He will perfect it ijmn. According to my sis who works in a bank HQ. Banks don't really disclose such information to third parties (Except for financial crimes purpose Sha o). IRCC can only work with whatever they see on your bank statement. I believe the most they can ask banks is to verify if; you are a genuine customer, whether your account is unencumbered by any debt and if you are a sole signatory to your account. That should be 1190.4 x 10 = $11900.40 for 30 credit course. I don't know what the term "auditing course" mean though. hapila: |

From my research, there are tuition fees ranging from 9k-30k and more .It all depends on your program and duration of study. Google studyportal or visit the website of a number of Canadian Universities of interest and check their Cost breakdown. I am sure u will get more clarity on your question. N.B: Living expenses as per IRCC is 10k CAD. theForth: 1 Like |

It means your tuition is payable per course and not a flat rate payment. So u are to choose the number of 3credit hr course you are willing to enrol for. Although minimum of 2/3 courses depending on your department rules. hapila: 2 Likes |

Dont know about yours but Not for mine. For my MPA in Usask, I am allowed to take 6 credit courses ( which is two 3cu courses) per term . I have correspondences from school to back the above up. quote author=olearypo post=91725286] You need to take at least 3 courses per semester to maintain full time status
|

Is your tuition fee payable per course or on a flat rate termly basis? Mine is the former, so my plan IF I proceed with this online study is to take things slow n steady by taking just 1 or 2 courses to maintain full time student status, doing so will buy me time to buffer any COVID-19 uncertainty. quote author=Ujeinijobog post=91722413]Hello all, Please I have some concerns about the latest news of IRCC. It states that more than 50%of the program has to be completed within Canada. The question now is considering the uncertainty of the current situation, what if we have 50% or more of the program online? For instance, in my case, my school stated that we'll have the fall semester online (but they aren't sure if we'll proceed afterwards). Now the question is what if the fall semester constitute 50%? In that case the eligibility for PGWP will be affected. Also, I already deferred my admission to fall next year but I don't know if I should retract it. My issue now is if I retract it, will I be able to unilaterally inform the school that I only want to take less than 50% of the entire program online since they aren't even sure whether we will continue online or not? Still on the uncertainty, I'm worried about what will happen if assuming I get the visa and won't be able to travel. What if Canada opens up and Nigeria doesn't? Or even exclude Nigeria from the list of countries like Europe did? In this case, what if I have to take 50% or more of the program online? This will ultimately affect my eligibility for PGWP. Thank you.

I believe not proceeding may now turn out to be red flag for a visa officer in arriving at a decision for our study permit final approval. Because, EXCEPT I am the one interpreting this wrongly, and to be quite honest with ourselves, we can't fault this measures Canada just introduced e.g allowing period of application count for PGWP, (infact kudos to them for their magnanimity), at this point we have no excuse to want to defer admission... Doing so may contradict our purpose of visit which is supposed to be SOLELY for study. Note: emphasis on EXCEPT. I'd really like more input on this new development too by the more experienced people. justexcellent: |

Actually i am a civil servant with Academic background in Accounting but now trying to pursue Master's in public administration. So the company policy or board decision can not suffice for me. I think I will go with Sales agreement option. Infact I am working on getting the right document for that purpose already. Thanks for your insight. quote author=JustMellow post=91479674] Hello YemmyPOG, If the name of your boss didn't reflect in any of your documents or mentioned, or reflects different in the transfer history, a sales agreement document/loan repayment document can come resourceful. But if it negates the aforesaid, then get an authenticated letter of financial support from your boss stating the company's stand and policy in either supporting their employees with financial assistance to further their study or as a friendly/soft loan that will be deducted from your salary with effect from your resumption prior after your study. The letter should be backed by an authenticated agreement endorsed by the company's lawyer and/or with a board resolution letter approving the funds. Insofar, the implication of the statement in the second paragraph is that it also demonstrate a tangible home ties of a guaranteed employment securement and returning home to repay back the soft loan. This makes more sense if the prospect study focus correlates with the current employment. To this end, the idea can be tweaked to meet the desired preference relating to the most suited means possible. All the best
|

Pls how can I explain 3million(credit boost from my boss) transferred into my account today when I intend to submit my application in 5days . The only history of such large sum in my account was 6million that I transferred and converted into a fixed deposit in February. I now have a closing balance of N9.3million. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot all in the name of proving financial stability.. Cc: @Frankrobbn1, @Justwise, @Justmellow . Pls I really need your input on this too. Thanks. |

@pee2jay9 but what you attached from thread 15 is a different thing from what you seem hell-bent on doing o. .
