I wonder how persuation to purchase products becomes scamming. What if a male friend of the OP helped to hold the bottle and snapped the pix. She also stated that the finished product will be ready you should have waited for her to upload that.
I would also do the payment before sending goods option if I am sending you osogbo and I don't have a payment on delivery service there.
What I don't understand is the name calling/ insults. If you suspected she was not real you just move on instead of threatening her because from all these conversations she really has not done anything wrong. |

As usual, this thread has turned to a doctor/nurse bashing thread. Its just a pity.
I just don't understand the problem with health workers cant you all just work together in peace must you feel superior or inferior to another health worker. Any thread about nurse or pharmacist or doctors the bashing begins and this is one of the reasons I feel there is a long way to go in healthcare delivery in Nigeria everything is about scoring a cheap point they forget the most important thing - the patients health.
The moment you guys realize you are a team the better for all of us Nigerians. I even wonder how you work together with so much hate its not as if one is independent of the other. Everyone of you is interdependent. You all have to work together everyone has their role to play.
Nonsense.

Family › Re: About House Helps: Work Schedules, Limits/Chores;Please Share Your Experiences by yetseyi(f): 9:20am On May 10, 2016 |
OP since you are seeking for opinions I think this time table is not well balanced and its not realistic.
There are house chores to be done everyday, there are chores to be done twice a week, there are chores to be done weekly, bi weekly and even monthly.
Scrubbing floors Monday to Sunday by 7am? It can be scrubbed twice a week or even weekly, its not as if engine oil is being poured on the floors. I believe we are talking about everywhere in the house and it includes mopping. That is not a daily chore please.
Dishes can be washed in the evening after meals, at least one will wake up to a clean kitchen.
Sweeping and dusting and arranging living room/dining every morning seems more realistic.
How many toilets/bathrooms are in the house that abeni will wash all the tiles in the bathroom/toilet, wash WC(s) scrub/disinfect everyday? Thorough washing can be done once a week as long as those using it keep it clean.
Washing and Ironing ALL CLOTHES everyday? Is she going to load the clothes on a machine or hand wash. If its a machine then she may do that everyday. Ironing everyday is not realistic, maybe twice or thrice a week. If she washes today she can iron the clothes tomorrow.
You didn't put time for other assignments like cooking, going to the market , other random chores. You also didn't mention preparing the children for school which I assume will happen between 6-7am, will she prepare meals / feed the children, or will you be the one to prepare them for school. You also didn't put rest/me time which should be before the kids come back. Abeni will also have to prepare meals for the children before they come back by 5pm all these are not factored on the table. Will she pick them from school?
All these other stuffs takes time and even house chores generally is not very easy and time consuming. The type of house also matters is it a flat, duplex mini flat etc, the bigger the house the more time consuming the chores her.
Also, everyone should make her job easier by putting things in proper places, keeping the restrooms neat etc.
I noticed you left out the bedroom cleaning.
I think she should have a day off possibly sunday, or friday if shes a muslim(she will be back before the kids come from school).
What time is she going to get educated as I read in your last post include that in the table too. Put these other factors into consideration when drafting your final table.
I believe its a superwoman that will do all that every blessed day. |

Ladies always lose more in relationships when sex is involved. If a sexless relationship breaks you walk out with not too much hurt.

SirShymexx: Lol. So you don't know Kanye is the most erratic and unpredictable guy ever, no? Only Kanye can pull this off when he's normal - he's that crazy lol.
Only faggits are anti-female and they're the ones trying to take their place. I love women. I'm ya typical mum and nan's boy and I'm always surrounded by women. When you've four sisters, and gazillion of female relatives - you can never be anti-female no matter how hard you try. If you can't say the bitter truth on the internet where everyone is anonymous, where are you going to say it? Then again, I do most of it for comic relief, albeit it's always the bitter truth.
When you're from a space where growing up where not giving a monkey is part of ya experience, the last thing on ya mind is what some faceless inconsequential people on the Internet think lol. My opinions on here don't affect my private life; won't stop me from having nice chics; and definitely won't stop every chic I know from saying I'm sweet and down to earth guy lol. Better start overlooking the urban obscene words in my posts and let the message sink in lol. My message will definitely take you far in life as a woman lol.
Loool. You mean that scripted interview with ol'girl looking like a sober widow got you gassed, no? - hysterical. Why didn't she express herself in an organic way, without the professional crap? This is just PR for her fan base and for more support. She just showed you why I keep saying guys should fear women and that women are much more power than most people give them credit for lol.
Anyway, the only thing I like in the interview is the fact that she alluded to everyone looking for the guy when they heard he was about to kill himself. God saved her the guy didn't kill himself cos she would've to deal with that for the rest of her life cos a kid is involved and it would've affected her career as well. Now you are not objective, (yes you are not loool).I remember you said something about her version of the story now she has you said PR. I would have thought you would go the depression lane. Abi women don't get depressed .So the guy was not looking for sympathy when he posted that. Maybe she should be wailing and rolling on the floor instead of answering questions would that be more "organic"? How can that be the only thing you like in the interview, you didn't see he's on cocaine, the indirect swindling of his wife, you didn't see that things have not been well with the marriage, you didn't see the guy was unstable already. The dude was never going to kill himself. If he wanted too he would be dead already. At least she responded to the allegations, the cooking matter, cheating and even her mums innocence. Reading some comments on transcript of the interview thread makes me hope some of those comments were not written by everyday guys one meet on the road. Well one thing I like about the interview is she admitted people warned her about marrying him, and she accepted she made a mistake. ^^^ Those paragraphs are the emotional part of me speaking but its the hard truth kindly ignore the harshness of the message. Seriously speaking now I feel it could have been solved. I actually hate seeing marriages apart its against everything I stand for. She was also hurt too, everything she said cant be a lie there would be some element of truth in it. May God give both of them the fortitude to bear the loss of their marriage and also give them the grace to reconcile. Amen Good morning. |

SirShymexx: Loool.
Thank God you now know that you can't hold someone having mental trauma responsible for his/her actions. That's also the reason why saner climes treat them the same way as senior citizens. You and I know that a grown man like the guy won't do what he did in his normal state of mind, unless he's a Kanye West.
If it had been a lady, my response would've been the same thing. Mental sickness/break-down doesn't know gender/race/colour/creed. I'm very objective in my views but the truth is always bitter sometimes. What did Kanye do? Okay now you are objective, Sometimes I am tempted to think you are anti-female. Some truths are better left unsaid. Modified: Now that we have heared Tiwas account of the story I am sure that guy was not depressed as I suspected, he just wanted to damage her reputation more like a final blow. |

SirShymexx: Lol. Using "most" is the most appropriate way to say it cos among the owanbe group, it might be 99% of them lol. C'mon, when you're from little Lagos in the belly of the beast, with loads of aunts that talk carelessly and loud around you - you'll always hear all kinds of stories about different people. Heck, my boy's uncle's also a victim of one of these owanbe ladies. The woman used to be decent back when I used to go borrow ebony and vibe magazines from the uncle. But when she joined the owanbe crew - she became a public dog as well, under her hussy's nose. Bwoy, she destroyed that decent man's life and they're both still fighting for custody of the kids, with the man living in a rented apartment now. Even the Pastor of the big naij church close to me most likely fvck all the married women in his Church cos most times when I see him, he's always surrounded by a bevy of good looking married naij women. What part of religion allows married women to follow Pastors everywhere? Lol
The guy's outburst on social media had more to do with mental state than character trait. He had a mental breakdown and it can happen to anyone. I think you need to do more research about clinical depression. I doubt he would've done that in his normal state of mind. So you can't count it against him. It's just like blaming someone having epileptic attack for whatever they do when he/she is under attack. It would be unfair.
Regardless, I still think he's a decent guy for supporting her wife's career openly. Most guys won't care. Looool okay. I have to agree that maybe its because of his mental state which may have been on for a while considering an outburst against a Fan sometimes back. I did ask you a question which you didn't answer, If the lady had been the one that snapped and said all these what would you still have the same stance. Would you have even thought its depression? I am waiting for your reply. Yeaah a lot of guys may not care. |

SirShymexx: Sorry, I didn't post everything I wanted in my last post, hence the incoherence, typos, and why I didn't reply everything. My battery was almost dead - charging it now. I'll continue here and reply this post as well.
I expect women who're supposedly from an African background that makes everything about morals and to a fault in most cases, to be the most decent. However, with most of these Yoruba women/chics, they just make noise everywhere and get judgemental about everything - while conversely, they're the biggest dogs running around. Most of them just open their legs to all comers and act like there's nothing wrong with what they're doing. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with their brains. If you want to fvck around...do that and stop being pretentious about it. Also, don't get hitched. It is free world and there are folks out there who do it as a profession and they're proud of it.
Girl power = #TeamTiwa. What's that about when she hasn't said anything. How about let her share her side of the story, before taking sides? You look like these other miserable clowns right now and that's not a good look. I expect more from you.
Now you agree with me that he supports his wife. How many guys with celebrity wives do that, at the expense of their own careers? He's a decent guy.
Aren't naij folks the same m0rons who have forgotten how much of an utter failure GEJ was? People in general have short memories and they only care about what's happening right now. Once the smoke clears, they will forget everything and move on to the next one, hence folks always cherish nostalgia. Okay Okay, but I do have a problem with the word "most". People cheat for reasons best known to them. Most- 70% and above and thats one funny stats. Maybe because I don't seem to see ladies around me cheating about apart from one woman I know (well she said it with her mouth in our living room) I have had male neighbors that cheat on their wives and I also hear that men cheat but it ll be unfair to say most men are cheats. Like I have always said there are plenty decent ladies around who will never cheat on their men but the guys wont go for those ones. Hahaha what got my attention initially is her silence, If it was the other way round and Tiwa said all that I would still say the same .There are things one shouldn't spread on social media but since its they say it depression.... I am just being objective, okay if it was Tiwa that said all that about his own mother, himself and mentioned people he had slept with depression or not what will you think? Wont you say they should have sorted matters within themselves?Be fair shymexx. And no I wasn't taking sides just being objective (at least I admitted he supported her). I admire her silence, she doesn't need to rant on social media they should solve their matters internally. Her silence speaks jare. Maybe because I hate social media scrutiny that's why I feel that way. You upload pixs of him preparing lunch today, tomorrow another thing, then when issues happen its social media. Decent is relative shymexx, what is decent to me may not be decent to you. Yeah he did support but seems things went haywire. You may be right about that though. |

SirShymexx: Loool. Yetty the Ijebu Dutchess, I didn't know you're into all this girl power crap. Really and truly, when I meet chics whose lives and logic revolves around that tosh, I just either cut them off or if they're good looking and have ridiculous bodies, I'll just tap 2/3 times and keep it moving. Most of them are either bitter/miserable or full of shyte cos they talk the talk but can't walk the walk. It is just like Beyoncé and all her girl power talks but she thinks she's the queen and won't let any other female artist eat, apart from Rihanna, and she keeps destroying the careers of fellow female artists. And her husband is cheating on her, yet she is still in the marriage lol. Just allow it, be yourself, and leave the crazed people alone lol.
There's no damage done...it is an outburst by a guy dealing with life. People have short memories and they'll soon forget about the whole ordeal. He said whatever he said and the most important thing is that he's alive and well. The guy looks like a decent guy based on how I have seen him supporting his wife in the past. Even Jigga seldom do that for Beyoncé (he talks more about Rihanna). The person I know who used to do that with his celebrity wife was Nas and we all know how his story ended. She cheated on him, turned him into a sucker for love, and gave him the biggest 18year bill ever lol. Girl power? kindly explain what its all about I have to admit though that it seems he supports or supported his wife. You say people should forget haa! Naija peeps are harsh oo even after God has forgiven you people never forget. A typical Yoruba mum in law may not let that accusation slide. |

prettyboi1: One of the things that lead to depression is not having the attention of those people who should ordinarily give you a listening ear when you're down. Now, if you already feel like those who should care most about you won't even listen to you, you think in that state of mind of mind it's random people you would want to talk to? Lol. If it was that easy, why then do you think that when some family members finally notice and care they almost always force such people to see a shrink? I still insist that you underplay what depression can cause,honestly...it becomes a psychological issue at some point when the person feels like he/she is the only one in the world with no one to care for him/her.
You can't come and say what he should have done or what he shouldn't have done, you don't live inside him and can't tell everything that's been going on in his mind so it's best you leave it how it is rather than castigating him. By the way, asking how Tiwa is faring is great too, but we have to realize we are not competing. At the end of the day, they are a family and if TeeBillz died or dies, you think Tiwa would fare well? If you care for Tiwa's well-being, then you should ultimately, at this point in time, be supportive of TeeBillz whether he was right or wrong. What is of utmost concern right now should be TeeBillz getting all the care and attention he can get...if Tiwa needs too, it's all fair and should be offered to her likewise. ok I get your point(s) |

SirShymexx: Ha!
I'm not shifting my stance. You'd notice that in all my banter yesterday with Sukkot the celestial prophet...I kept mentioning how he needs and how I don't think the guy is weak. This has absolutely nothing to do with immaturity, weakness, and/or being a sissy/wussy - it is clearly a case of a guy suffering from clinical depression. When people have mental health problem, they always act erratic and throw caution in the wind and this guy exhibited both and more, including suicide. Evidently, it is obvious that he isn't in his right state of mind and he needs help. Getting him help is the most important thing right now - everything else is inconsequential.
It isn't even about him alone. It is about the three parties involved: the guy, his wife, and their infant. And if you care about any of the three - saving him should be the most important thing.
Btw, why do married Yoruba chics/women love Fvcking around? Looool Go joor, Yes he should go for treatment (I just doubt its depression sha). Now that people know what his problem is his friends around can help him go for treatment but the damage has been done already. Ehen!!! your last paragraph thats part of it you have always been like ermm ladies aren't loyal etc etc People are different and besides teebilz didnt say if Tiwa slept with them before marriage or after (Though I am an advocate of NSBM) I guess its lack of morals and like I always say not everybody does it. prettyboi1: SMH. Folks like you are the ones who lead people to depression and eventually suicide. You guys always 'smell something fishy' in every situation rather than just being objective. Of course, you don't believe in depression and that's why everything to people like you must be over-analyzed. Well, I'm glad your opinion doesn't count in the man's life (mine too doesn't cos we both don't know him personally) so you can keep analyzing and 'solving puzzles' all you like. Cheers. SMH too. I believe people can be depressed and I believe it can be treated Its not about analyzing the matter, depression is something that can be dealt with, it can be handled other ways not only by outburst on the social media. He should have asked for help let him see a therapist, spoken up about what he has been bottling inside to someone who could help or something that's the proper thing to do when depressed. So asking how TIWA is also faring is not being objective? And how sure are you that I don't know either of them personally? Its a small world. Cheers to you too. |

SirShymexx: Lol.
I saw the thread yesterday and the ignorance/illiteracy/stupidity of the thread and posters is troubling. On one hand you have females who think everything has to be viewed from male vs female prism; male white knights whose existence is solely dependent on getting online praises from females; and stupid people who think the next person's misery is comic relief.
There is a guy who's trying to take his life and is obviously suffering from mental health issues and has shown symptoms of acute depression. So, rather than play the victim/blame/villain game...right now, it should be about saving a life. Once you save his life, then you can get to the juicy stories of their lives, since that's the air we all breathe today in the social media age - fixation on what's going on in the private lives of our favourite celebrities.
If this guy were to take his life, that is a big burden Savage will have to carry for the rest of her life, since they have a kid together. How will she explain to her kid that the dad committed suicide? Even if she doesn't care right now, it is going to haunt her forever. So the priority right now should be about saving the guy and making sure everything is alright with him - if you care about Savage's long term well-being. Then both parties can tell their sides of the story and it's left to those who care about their story to pick the side they want to ride with, while the smart ones would know that the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Also, I think most naij folks are ignorant about depression. It can happen to anyone regardless of how strong you think you are. It doesn't make you a wussy/sissy...it's just dealing with life. And when you see folks dealing with depression, always endeavour to give them the necessary help. Help first and ask questions later. haahaha shymexx now its about saving a life right. I saw you all around that thread yesterday saying another thing entirely you never mentioned saving a life first. See how you shifted your stance. The first thing I thought about when I saw all these is how is she coping with all these. And what makes you think Tiwa is not depressed. Her silence speaks volumes, If he really wanted to kill himself he would already be dead. He blamed everybody but himself, even claimed Tiwas mum buried something so that she can use his star to shine, blamed his dad, blamed TIWA. He has said things that normally should never be said about ones spouse. I honestly dont care if the allegations are true or not but when he claimed that he eats from Tuface's place while claiming Tuface slept with his wife I just shook my head. Which Naija man will do that? Now that he thinks he has destroyed her reputation I think he is happy. Does depression remove common sense, If Tiwa too comes out and begins to say all what she is passing through nko. He comes out blasts nonsense about his wife and relatives, you think Tiwa top doesn't have a story to tell. I dont buy that depression stuff, I heared she released a Video that same day,why that particular day is that when the depression started. Modified: I forgot to say he is immature |

SirShymexx: Lol. But Christianity is less that 2,500 years old and the Jesus and trinity thing got included in Christianity after the First Council of Nicaea, in 325AD. Thus making it less than 2,000 year in Christianity. Others existed way before that. Check the timeline.
Looool. Ancient Egypt existed thousands of year before Christianity. That's the first known civilisation with religion and a God concept. Timeline again.
Bowing down to black Madonna and her baby, is no different from bowing down to an image of Jesus.
Oh, okay.
Lol. Easter is even easier to agree with cos it changes every year based on constellation and it fit perfectly into the reason why ancient pagans used to set it aside as holiday period.
Regardless, not saying you should stop being a Christian - just showing you that there's no true religion and most things Christians talk about aren't real. Yeah you re right remember I said "In the beginning the 3 "exist" thats even before there was an Egypt. Before Christianity the trinity existed The Father Son and Holy spirit existed before we had a "world" and that includes ancient Egypt but never mind I am talking from a spiritual/faith based perspective. You are still looking at the matter via historical references. You remember I talked about the changing dates of easter in that other thread they say its the calendar and Easter has a very important significance which I mentioned also in that thread. Yeah thats my point you should not bow down to images regardless of whose image it is perceived to be its idolatry I was jusy letting you know what I had observed. Loool, Wrong, they are so real you just have to believe and yes Jesus is the way and yes christainity is the true way of life its more than just a religion. SirShymexx: But if certain folks started using a formula before others...don't you think those who started at a later date copied those who started it? For example: ancient Greeks started the concept of democracy. So would you say modern democracy is purer than the one practised in ancient Greece?
Do you attend the Anglican Church?
Read this about the origin of Christmas:
And Easter here: Now I am assuming your question is for both the trinitarian matter and the catholic discourse. Its a spiritual thing and not necessarily subject to physical interpretations. To answer your question no I don't think Christianity copied others. Doing something first /using a method first doesn't mean you are right and besides have you ever thought of it that all those ancient trinitarian doctrines is most likely a corruption of the real trinity-remember we are talking about something in the spiritual. Biblically in the beginning the 3 "exist". You are looking from the perspective of Christianity starting from the new testament (Acts of the apostles) and some ancient stuffs that may have existed before then(I saw you talking about ancient Egypt some posts before this). I am looking at the whole picture even before there was an Egypt, the three Father Son and Holy spirit "exist". So like I said those ancient trinities are most likely a corruption of the real thing even before there was a visible beginning. To answer your question again concerning our catholic discourse, Doing something first doesn't mean its the right way. About last year I read some brief church history(I really don't fancy stuffs like that I think its a waste of time). I know you know at sometime normal believers could not access the bible It was what "they" interpreted that people had to accept. Bowing down to the Madonna image / any other image or saint as the case may be is unscriptural it does not matter if it has been in practise for more than 2,000 years or whenever it has been. Its not about being the first/starting first its about how correct/true it is. No I dont attend the Anglican church. Like I said the Christmas is controversial but ermm I am not really going to agree with what you just wrote about easter. |

SirShymexx: But, er, I'm an Ijebu like you and we're both involved in Pentecostalism...don't worry about other folks, just share ya opinion.
By reducing her to being a mere "vessel" like the Christian doctrine did by replacing her with holy ghost/spirit - don't you think you've taken away the importance of the woman in the trinity, when she ought to be the most important since she supposedly carried the baby for 9 months and went throw the pains and agony of child birth? You see that's why ancient religions that laid the foundation for today's religions emphasised the importance of the woman and they even celebrated the woman more as a God-like figure in the God concept than the man.
However, trinity is a borrowed concept. Christianity borrowed it from ancient religions. So why not keep what you borrowed in its purest state, rather than replace an element of it with something else cos there's a bias against elevating the figure? With what they did, they ended up causing more confusion, thus leading people astray.
If you think the Pope bowing down to the black madonna and her baby is idolatry, what would you say about Christians facing and bowing down to an alter/pulpit with the image of Michelangelo everywhere as Jesus (I'm sure there's an image of a Jesus on the alter/pulpit where you worship and most likely one in ya house)? What about all the Christian holidays, from Christmas, to Easter, etc., which are ancient pagan holidays - would you also call them idolatry?
Anyway, you still haven't disputed my point that the Roman Catholic Church is the purest form of Christianity cos they started the religion and collated the first people. Then the Protestants, which later became the mother/father of almost all denominations broke away from it and King James revised the Bible most people use today (I'm sure ya Pastor also uses the King James Bible). So can an offshoot be better than the pure one? Okay I am not going to argue about church history again or history of the trinitarian doctrine, not because I agree with you but because we would most likely never find a common ground on the matter. Now, concerning the issue of images/pagan holidays its mostly orthodox churches that have pictures of Jesus/images at the altar. Some Anglican churches do have it, its kind of painted in the stained glass used to design the cathedral but you wont find an image with a "shrine" sort of where people kneel to pray in an Anglican church you would see that in a catholic church(Most of my primary education was at a catholic school under a catholic church where we do go for mass and my Dad is still an Anglican while my uni chapel is an Anglican diocese so I have an idea of these things) You wont see a special alter with an image of Jesus or Mary and a bit of incense where you kind of stand look up and pray by the corner of homes of members of other Orthodox churches but if you are going to find that its in a catholic home (I have seen it before and I was shocked) I get you see the difference now. My church HQ doesn't have a picture of Jesus at the alter rather a depiction of a scene in the bible with a scriptural verse and of course decor. The branch I attend is pure decor and the pulpit. In my house not at all just a framed inscription talking about a blessed home. Christmas holidays is even controversial in some pentecostal churches, well I am sure of two that do not place emphasis on Christmas. My church doesn't celebrate Christmas although that doesn't mean you cant give or receive gifts. The basis is there's no biblical passage to prove Jesus was born dec 25th. Easter is not a pagan holiday. ignore typos pls |

Acidosis: Nice observation on Number 4. I'll take that as an exemption.
I'll like to hear your view on Number 3 number 3: My male cousins that were like elder brothers didn't really sleep around (I may be wrong). The one I was close to just dated different ladies till he got married so I never really experienced that scenario. The other questions have always been controversial on NL. |

Number 2: I doubt any mum will support their boys beating people up.
Number 4: Yes if the son is older and the girl is too young to be in the kitchen. What if you don't have girls wont the boys help the mum in the kitchen? |

SirShymexx: Lol. My instincts/intuition and cognitive reasoning are quite sharp and from observation, I think you're but you never know with chics.
Err, there's nothing wrong with discussing tribal/denominational issues, as long as you don't get involved in the hate. Just post what you feel. At the end of the day, everyone is tribal/racial and we're all wired with our identities and who we're is intertwined with our realities. I remember you posted a story about the level of hate you received in Ondo one time cos you're Ijebu. That's ya experience and there's nothing wrong in sharing ya experience(s).
Yes, without Roman Catholicism, there won't be Christianity. The Romans started what we know today as Christianity and even the new testament was a product of council of Nicea, under Emperor Constantine. And the first image of Jesus was his image. Christianity started breaking into different denominations, when the Protestants (Anglican or you can call it Church of England) broke away from the Roman Catholic (I think it was under King James) and almost all the other denominations came from the protestants - starting with the American Methodist and Baptist Churches, etc.. That's why there's still a big divide between the Roman Catholics and Protestants in the UK. Up North, all the way to Scotland and Ireland - most people are Catholics, but the Protestants rule the South and England. And they do have their fights all the time.
If you believe Mary was a vessel - then you believe women are just vessels and an appendage, no? The reason why the woman was taken out of trinity has to do with how sexist Europeans were back then. That was when they used to sell their women into slavery and treat their women like shyte, with religion as a tool to defend it. Islam is the same as well - they completely changed everything that had to do with the woman, into something else. Since ancient times, the God concept has always been: father, mother, and son.
Okay, if you think the Roman Catholic doesn't revere the woman, how come the Pope bows down and pray to the image of the black madonna, with her baby? People get emotional when it gets to denominational/ethnic matters. One cant have a decent conversation with different views. So I tend to avoid it I am a bit familiar with the history you posted. When I said vessel I didnt mean in in that context. I meant she was the one that God used to bring the saviour to the world she is/was a believer like every other disciple. I didn't/ would never mean inferiority in any way. The fact that that's the trinitarian concept of ancient times doesn't mean thats how it is in christainity. Ermn there are even a lot of beliefs/sects being paraded as christainity and they are not even close. So your concept still doesn't apply to Christianity. Bowing down to any image is idolatry. It doesn't matter who does the bowing or whose "perceived" image is being bowed to. what is black madonna? Its idolatory joor. The bible is soo against that. |

SirShymexx: Lol. Why are you always shy? There's nothing to be ashamed of. Anyway, I'm riding with Virgin cos you sound like one and you always sound so innocent lool.
I dunno about witches/wizards and with the way some of these African pastors abuse kids all in the names of witches - I can't be a party to that. But I do know about the positive and negative energies that exist in the universe and the essence of the duality of life in our existence. And as long as one energy exist, the extreme opposite also exist. Hence I try my best possible to always stay away from the negative bit, and stick with the positive one.
Lmao. That's not blasphemy, it's the real way the God concept is everywhere. Why do you think the Roman Catholic, the purest form of Christianity, place a lot of importance in holy Mary? Pentecostalism started the Holy Spirit/Ghost concept and they replaced the woman/mother that's part of the trinity with it. Trinity = God the father, God the mother, and God the son. Check the first ever trinity in ancient Egypt and it had: Osiris (father), Isis (mother), and Horus (son). And all other religions followed that pattern, including early Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism etc.. In Buddhism, you have: Rajah (father), Maha Maya (mother), and Buddha (son).
I did learn the very hard way with permanent physical/physiological scars. Na you sabi, continue guessing. Ermmm if not for the fact that I really dont like delving into tribal/denominational matters (because of the amount of hate people show) especially on nairaland I would have written an epistle on that third paragraph. What makes Roman Catholicism the purest form of Christianity? Mary was a vessel God used E.O.D. You should know that the holy spirit "talk" started from the new testament its not necessarily a pentecostal church thing . The holy spirit/holy ghost "concept" (as you put it) started pentecostalism and not the other way round as you stated. All the other orthodox churches acknowledge the holy spirit so I don't see why its been tagged a pentecostal church thing. You cant place the trinity side by side with those other stuffs you are comparing with Christainity does not follow that pattern. Yeah I still insist its blasphemy saying "woman".Even the catholics that you said gives reverence to Mary do not include her in the trinity. It is the father, son and holyspirit. Theres a biblical backing for the trinity. *kindly ignore typos |

SirShymexx: Err, are you a virgin?
In as much as I believe there are "evil" and "good" forces just as we've negative and positive forces, or the good and bad theory - I dunno, but I don't really get involved in witches/wizards/holy-spirit(fire/ghost) theory. The reason why I'm more inclined to stay away from it has to do with how it's overemphasised in African version of Christianity and all these African pastors molesting kids by labelling them witches. European Christianity, which the pure version of Christianity doesn't really dwell on it. And the noise about witches/wizards started with American Pentecostalism and got on steroids in Africa. Then when you consider the fact that the real trinity about God never had Holy Spirit/ghost/fire...that started with Christianity (the real trinity is about: God the father, God the son, God the woman. However, Christianity replaced "God the woman" with "God the Holy Spirit" - it is difficult to get into the whole thing. And most of these pastors casting and binding are hustlers/scammers. That said, I think what we experience is basically people with positive energy on collision course on people with negative energy...that is how I Look at it.
Lol, now I'm scared lol. But it is real tho. I think guys don't really get connected the same way chics do cos of the way we're wired. But I think chics tend to dwell on the spiritual connection more. Personally, when I've sex with a chic twice/thrice I somewhat get bored of her except we're in a relationship and I have to mentally prepare myself for the continuos long haul. And once we break up, I just get my mind of it. Regardless, that doesn't negate the spiritual connection via the sex convenant.
All in all, we just have to be utter careful about who we sleep with and it should always be about safety first. It is all fun till you have to suffer the consequences and you can't always dismiss everything that has a continuous pattern as superstition.
That reminds me: I watched Anthony Joshua's BBC documentary on YouTube time ago and I remember he alluded to how some naij psychic (we call those naij prophets that see vision naij psychic out her) told him when he was growing up and was on the street getting in trouble that he should stick to sports and he'll be great one day. I don't know what powers these folks have but some of them do see things. It's somewhat reminiscent of my late teen years and how my mum would just tell me that I can't go raving on certain weekends cos someone saw a vision and all the times I dismissed them as nonsense and sneaked out, something terrible, to near death mishap always happen. After cheating death like three times, no one told me before I started listening. So you can't just dismiss everything.
P.S: posting from the phone and I might sound a tad incoherent. You really don't expect me to answer that question. Anyway I am not answering hehehe. Evil exists in different forms (witches/wizards inclusive) like I said its not about extolling these evil but they do exist. Did I just read what I thought I read. Ask for forgiveness from God for blasphemy. Woman ke? Of topic: the getting tired of a lady part is one of the reason why PMSex is not advised. Thank goodness you didnt learn the very hard way. |

damola1: It'll be a crime if I don't comment on this topic.
I buy fuel when the light goes critical. like no light for like 3 days... I thank God for them. Oh, also, I had to do a lightening protector, cos, one time last year, thunder struck it out... as I stay at the topmost place around...
But I don't do all this indian or chinko inverter crap. I tried them once, I knew it wasn't for me. From basic knowledge their charging amps are pretty low.... hence it can take them 4x to charge compared to standard inverters like xantrex, tripple lite or outback.
I bought a used outback inverter, in fact, I bought 2units... with 6 200AH batteries...
And it's like magic. We use it all day at work... all day... and it charges at night... or even for a couple of hours... our Gen dey gather dust.. steady... g Hello whats the cost implication pls, I kind off did a google search on those names seems they are not in naija. |

SirShymexx: Personally, I just believe that the spiritual controls the physical and once you get to certain age in life, there are some risks that aren't worth taking - regardless of what the "modern" cliche thing is. Once you study metaphysics a bit, you will get more understanding.
Also, I'm not into the witches/wizard/evil-spirit/holy-spirit/fire thing that Christians do. This has more to do with spiritual stuffs, covenant, stars not aligning etc.. Then you've a case where sex is a spiritual covenant between a male and a female, hence you just have to always be watchful/weary of who you sleep with and what you're getting yourself into. And when you see a pattern like this one - it's always better to go for safety first.
Church? I didn't go today looool. Yeah the spiritual does control the physical A Christian should even know that, it takes a discerning mind to know when to act on an issue physically and when its time to be spiritual about it. Witches/wizards/Holy spirit/ evil spirit good/evil even jazz are all real. There's nothing wrong if you know that evil exist its knowing that you have authority over the evil that is most important but its dangerous to think such they don't exist Thats why Christianity does not support premarital sex. Not just about being weary/watchful, the person is bound to that individual more like a soul tie you are right about the covenant part. You may want to wonder why people find it difficult to let go of exes they have shared something with (whenever the see even if its after 10years) and I guess the popular "okafors law" on NL also states something similar. In the spirit realm they are one already and this may also explain why some people find it so difficult to let go. Four is too much to be a coincidence, there is something about that lady that is not right and ironically she may not even know There are some people that once you sleep with them you are doomed for life and interestingly they don't have a signboard on their heads nobody knows who is who and if an individual is unfortunate enough to marry such an individual that's the end of everything. For this lady there is a physical pattern one can observe for some others one may not have the opportunity to know her history. |

SirShymexx: Happy Sunday, my Ijebu sister.
I'm not an atheist - I believe in God/most-high/supreme-being. I'm not just into religion cos these religions aren't pure - they're just there to manipulate certain folks and make certain people dominant and certain people spiritually dead to the realities of life.
The world is a very complex place and science can't explain everything nor create a living being. If science had the answers, then Stephen Hawking wouldn't be the way he is and scientists would be living forever.
Our existence is about the physical and spiritual realm. So I believe things like this one exist. Hahaha, I never mentioned you are an atheist noow, even some Christians don't believe stuffs like that happen. Yeah science doesn't have all the answers I have a science back ground but it just gets to a point where you know that this cant be science, its kind of mysterious and it can only be God. Happy sunday once again. I am tempted to ask the "How was church" question but I wont llooooll. |

MAYBE if she starts getting "it" on a frequent basis after marriage that emotional stuff will fade away but there are no guarantees. It is well. |

Hmmmm,
You should have held to your resolve of not "doing it". Now it has happened and it seems she is weak person emotionally. According to you 3weeks in camp was too long to abstain from "it",she had to travel every 2 months I presume to do "it" and she eventually had "it" with her lodge mate.
I assume you have forgiven her for the incident with the lodge mate.
Do you want a wife you cant leave for a business trip for a few weeks without fear of her emotional weakness / latching onto the closest non-relative male available.
Women get "toasted" , single, married, divorced women all get advances from men Is she emotionally strong to wade of advances? Some men will never back down (e.g the lodgemate guy) and it takes a really strong woman to handle that category of men. People get advances everywhere either subtly or directly you have to be able to put them off its very important . In the situation of direct temptation how will she handle it.
She seems like a good person generally but the source of concern here is her emotional weakness, circumstances may separate you guys for weeks or even months so how will she cope and to be honest it is a big deal. Peoples husband's do travel for months and they endure till he is back can she do same?
The ball is in your court.
The simple rule of tasting "it"and wanting so much more kind of took effect in your lady. |
