l it was via mail. No terms and conditions (but in reality there are lool) but now she has replied my mail and said that the IT fee is to be paid she said they said it cant be discounted and charged per semester.

I asked her if saying a fee is non discountable and compulsory is the same thing. I asked because there were other things to pay for if I registered for the main modules.

It was written that the introductory short course was free why not put a little asterisk and state that IT fees will still be paid even if its just the short introductory course you want.

I have not paid I am thinking of sending them a mail when I am less busy. Pls which small print are you talking about. All correspondence I had with the Diana lady and in the offer for the introductory course there were no charges but if I wanted to take other modules I will pay fees that was what I understood. Let me even send a mail to them now.

Even their short introductory courses that they claim to be free is not in the real sense.

I did apply for one introductory to project management which the agent said its completely free plus the textbook I think it was supposed to run for some weeks.
They did send one nice textbook, a flash drive, a pen and a sort of ID card. I didnt even finish the module.


Late last year I got a letter that I was to pay for IT I guess information technology.

I just checked now its 160 dollars. The agent told me the short course was completely free though.

The standard of education has fallen in every part of Nigeria. Testimonies of corpers posted around the country says it all. Special centers are abound in all parts of this country especially the private schools.

I think that is what should be addressed, an average secondary school student doesn't want to read to pass anymore they all want the easy life but they can sing all the lyrics of songs, they know all the telemundo characters etc etc but basic things about books they dont know.

Also the smart phone has done more harm to this generation of primary/secondary school students than good. They spend all the time chatting etc etc.

Youth corpers are the ones that can tell that the rot is real and honestly its in all parts of the country, forget all the stats. Educational sector is in a danger zone.

I still feel the real deal are the students in the Unity schools, stateschools (some of them) , military schools,navy and airforce . At least they dont do special centers, a lot of private schools and some state schools are spoonfeed their students with answers during these exams to protect their reputation.

2013 I was in a bus going to mile 2 and it was during WASCCE there was a young girl with uniform inside the bus. I think she had an afternoon/late morning paper (Economics).

There was terrible traffic and some elderly people asked her what time is her paper she answered. We all checked the time and it was past time she mentioned,and we were saying come down start trekking or jogging( We were stuck in traffic at volks bustop and her school was a private school barracks bustop opposite Ojo barracks) Then she made a statement I can never forget "they are writing it for me".


I felt as if someone slapped me I put myself in that same position. I attended CDSS OJO at that same barracks and I am sure if it was myself or my classmates were in that position what we would have done was to drop and start running seriously because we know nobody will write for us.

okay you are saying since the bible was compiled (note my word) by the Catholic church, non catholics should accept other writings that are not the bible.

Who is the author of the bible ( who inspired the writings in the bible) are those books also written under the same inspiration or just church doctrines written by men.

Saying the bible is a product of the church sounds somehow to me.

I still believe the bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

I need to ask some questions please about what i have observed about the catholic faith that makes me feel they are not following what the bible says.

1. Praying through/ with the rosary ; is it biblical

2. praying in front of those images (I really dont know if they are praying to them but i have seen people kneel in front of them to pray). I feel its idolatry.

3. Praying through saints e.g st Jude or better still saints should intercede for us. I once heared that in a catholic church I thought Jesus was our only mediator according to the bible.

4. why are people almost always being referred to historical books of the catholic church/books apart from the bible when trying to establish facts. I felt the bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.


I have asked these questions in the past fromcatholics and their answers mostly go in the same vein.....Saying how it is in a creed/ some courses/classes they attended or how some books other than the bible have said somethings about it or tellingme the history of how the catholic church became etc. Just a clear answer please.


I have never been a catholic though I ve attended mass before (they made it compulsory in my primary school) and I dont have any intention of being one.

our body absorbs 10% of iron intake. if u take pregnare care, you will be getting 1.7mg of elemental iron and 400mcg of folic acid. this is INADEQUATE

your wife shld take her ferrous sulphate (red), folic acid (tiny yellow) and vitamin c. if she has a problem due to d many drugs n smell, use Ferrobin plus by fidson

it will give you 100mg of elemental iron ie 10mg delivered to your system, double d requirement. it also comes wt 5mg folic acid. That what most of us here recommend.

Pls check with a Gynaecologist when in doubt. Your first baby is d most dangerous because of misinfornation .
