There is a lot that goes into recruitment. There is the interviewers' perception vs your own perception. As long as the interviewers interviewed him and considered his experience as well as his answers to their questions satisfactory to do the job, what he thinks about his own abilities is up to him (he may see himself as 50% while in reality he is far better than that and they judge him higher than he judges himself). There is absolutely nothing illegal in him taking the job. IF he said he lied on his CV, then that's a different matter and your point would be valid, but he didn't, so why are you accusing him when you are the one that doesn't know how things work?

Inteviewing and candidate selection has never been a black or white thing, not in Nigeria, not elsewhere. There is always the subjective element.

the first laid down process or action here is contacting her emergency contact details that is if she filled in or submitted any and if the contacts she submitted is even valid or exists. You can trust Nigerians on that. They don’t ever like filling in passenger manifests or emergency contact details. Many will outrightly refuse to fill while others will reluctantly fill in non existent numbers. I have seen it severally in the aviation industry as well.

So for the airline to have contacted the consulate which is the next line of action and infact the next point of call shows that they’ve first tried contacting her emergency contacts. So based on the communication with the consulate her body must have been deposited somewhere pending when the consulate is able to contact and locate her family. The airline can’t carry her body to London.

The headline of the news or post is very wrong and misleading using that word ‘dumped’

Very comprehensive explanation, and it makes sense that would be the procedure to follow.
P.s. - I don't think any one would expect the airline to take the body to London.

In my opinion, the expectation is that they should follow whatever laid out process they have. Every airline has processes defined for different scenarios.

I re-read his comment and to be fair he answered the question (albeit he mentioned more than one) based on the way he interpreted it, the two things he mentioned were issues/people he was passionate about at a point in his life. Now back to the to topic, the major cause of the problem is the local government which are not closer to the grassroot, they are not functional. Most of the so call local government chairs don't even know why they are there, no town planning no single activity, even streetlights done by state governors, other bodies in some local government are left to rot. I think the local government also need more funding we should also hold the local government chairs more accountable because they are largely been ignored by us.
