Thanks. Let's see how it goes ShoeShineGuy: Those people at Sask appear to be an extension of IRCC. So so backlogs.. Saskatchewan Delay Delay is now their full names! Imagine, people now wait for at least 7months to get their nomination with this prairie peeps approved when Ontario and Manitoba do theirs in 30-40days!
Pls don't get me wrong o. It's always a welcome development when a province is nominating someone but all I'm trying to do is open our eyes to the reality on grounds with respect to Sask. If you have other lifeline/means, kindly exploit it, if not, just grab on to this and be ready to wait it out. After all, they have the advantage of holding the aces when it come to one of the most affordable PNPs. |

I will advise that you use WES. Just ensure that your transcript gets to them early cos that's where the delay usually comes from. Once it is sorted and verified promptly, your evaluation can come out within a week sef. All the best. Ajokelawal: Hello everyone, I just want to start this journey and I need advice on certificate evaluation. Please which evaluation body would you say is the best to use now. Considering the situation with covid 19. I have read about documents getting missing and evaluation taking too long with some evaluation bodies. Thanks |

Omoniyimi12345: Please I need help. CES has received my transcript since almost 4 weeks now and my profile has not been updated. Who has used CES before please? What should I do? I have made payments too My advise is that you go for WES to avoid unnecessary delays by CES. I submitted my evaluation since Dec 2020 and up till now they've not finalised my evaluation despite receiving my transcript for more than four months now. I had to register for WES in June and the whole process took just one week from the time they received my transcript and I have been in the pool since then waiting for EOI. All the best. |

Thank you for the response amaya21: Unless your spouse's work experience is in Canada, it doesn't add any points to the PA's application. You can leave it blank so that you/your spouse don't have to run around for reference letters or other proof of employment. |

When creating an express entry profile, does it matter if an accompanying spouse's occupation falls under NOC skill level C. Just want to know if it doesn't affect eligibility in anyway.

Sorry bro, I can relate with this situation as it is very similar to mine. I did well in other sections except reading that i was very certain I had a good performance on exam day. I've already requested for a remark cos i believe something is wrong somewhere. EagleScope01: I am having mixed feeling Got my test score today (my birthday) L-7.5 R-6.5 W- 7.0 S- 7.5 Overall band 7
I was not expecting the high scores in speaking (cos I paused and stammered during the last phase of the test) and listening (cos I missed many numbers. I got lost. Apparently, it is my weakest point. I always got lost arnd number 30). But the reading I was confident about nd could bet I will have atleast 8.5 or at worst 8... Na him I get 6.5
It is worth applying for remark or I accept fate and reapply? Someone please advice me |

Your immediate line supervisor will be okay in this instance as he/she will explain your roles better in a detailed manner given the direct reporting line. However, ensure these roles match your chosen NOC. Brunobia: Good evening everyone. Please I have read the screen shot from CIC website that accompanied the above quote.
My question is for those of us working in a university, admin staff. Usually we write to Registrar of the University for Letter of Introduction if we are travelling out for vacations. But registrar is not our immediate boss. We have HODs and Deans.
So for IRCC letter of work reference, who do I meet to issue it? My immediate supervisor I.e (HOD/Dean) or the Registrar?
Both will be on University letter head. But one will bear Office of the Dean. The other will bear Office of the Registrar. It's a Federal University.
Thank you. |

This is noted. Thanks for the info. phabulous88: Applied for CES ECA in December 2020. The last update I received from CES was in mid February. When you apply they tell you that the Timeline is 15 - 20 weeks. Hopefully my ECA should be out this month.
Are you able to track the status of your application in your portal?
It’s not mandatory for your spouse to evaluate their credentials or even write the IELTS If your CRS score (as the PA) is enough to fetch you an ITA. But know this: when you include a spouse in your application, you will get a lesser score for your IELTS, age and education, than someone who applied without a spouse.
So it’s advisable for your spouse to evaluate their credentials and write the IELTS, so you can boost your score. |

Hello House,
Please is there anyone who submitted CES evaluation since December 2020 and yet to get a feedback. The delay is really getting to me as i have written mails to them to no avail. I don't even know what to do again. My IELTs result has been ready since March but I'm unable to enter the pool due to this.
Secondly, is it mandatory for my spouse as a secondary applicant to also evaluate her credentials.

Tvickie: Hello, Thank you for everything in this forum. I have a question pls. I applied for the federal skilled worker program and did a fixed deposit for 3 months. Now it has expired and the application is still on eligibilty stage. I refixed the pof (gift deed from my dad) for an extra 3 months again. Should I notify cic? or just leave the money in the account like that? I do not think it poses any issue so long as the fund is still running at the same tenor and conditions as the initial booking. So, it's fine. |

Yes, I get your point. The inflows I'm talking about are the regular savings i make from my salary account into my savings acct every month and it's not significant. I hope that's fine. ednut1: reasonable inflows like from your salary. You cannot be earning 300k and depositing 800k monthly without explaining. |

Pls concerning POF, is it okay to still have regular inflows into a savings account within the last three months prior to submission as required by CIC. Note that there won't be any outflow at all. I just want to be sure it won't negate the 90 day pre ITA rule.

Thanks for your observation but the truth is that there is no guarantee that it would be granted if she had applied with me. Whilst I was on the queue, a young couple who have both had extensive travel history spanning US, UK, France, Holland and just got back from Canada were refused by the same VO. What excuse can we make for that considering that it was also a renewal interview like mine? So, I feel the VOs just grant at their own discretion and no matter how hard you try, they may or may not grant it. ultimatebas: Nothing dey NEW JERSEY, i dey tell you. I think that was one of the RED FLAGS. Another Red flag in my opinion. Why should a family man travel for tourism alone? The V.O might doubt his true marital status(V.Os don't care about our marriage certificates because some Nigerians are fraudulent that's why V.Os seldomly opt to see certificates) . Imagine he just got married which is suppose to be the most exciting time of marriage and he ain't going with madam. When i applied the very first time for tourism. I went with my family (wifey and baby girl) and we got it. Infact even when i renewed it was together as a family and we got it again. |

Thanks guys for the responses. It's well noted. Regards wuki: To be fair, a VO will NOT base visa decision on what cities/places/states count as “sight-seeing” destinations. Matter of fact the VO might have never been to NJ let alone know that “there is nothing in NJ.” OP might have claimed going to New York and still get denied. Has NOTHING to do with applicant’s destination. OP could decide to go to Montana for all the VO cares. I second your other point and that may have been a red flag for the VO. |
