aderadio1: I have 20M that is stashed in one of my account for like 3 years now earning me nothing. The fund is in pounds sterling anyway.
I honestly need where I can invest it in Nigeria, UK or USA that will yield me confirmed 10% monthly. I came across an organization that funds media related ideas, they are giving out $1M usd to own a particular percentage of equity in any promising tech based Media company . I was actually sending the information to journalists and people in the media space but it seems they aren't really serious. So I came up with the idea of forming a team of 3-6 persons including myself to raise between 500k to 1M for facilitating the necessary requirements for application before it closes, I will be providing inputs of between 1M to 2.5 M and technical facilitator as a tech savvy fellow. Part of the funds will be used for; registration with CAC and a foreign LLC possibly in Estonia or US, Bank Account Opening Web and App Development Hosting for the first 2 years The expert among us will be helpful in content creation If you are interested and are ready to make intellectual commitment to the new biz. Take note that this is not for greedy or unserious fellows We will have couple of virtual meetings for further enlightenment and strategy before we get started. If you are interested Chat me up on 08089456258 Thanks |

Athena6: Last week I created a thread talking about how my japa plans have been crushed due to the increase in dollar.
Many adviced me to invest in dollar, this was the advice they gave me months ago but I did follow through because I wasn't sure. My last thread hit front page and 90% of the comments were advising me to invest in dollars, one even quoted that in the past 10 years, the dollar haven't fallen but it increases every year.
One even called me a weak minded person and I am scared to take risks. After everything I thought to myself, since so many people felt this dollar will keep on rising, maybe I should invest afterall life is all about risks.
Well guess what, dollar have decreased, I invested 3M in buying dollars and now in today exchange rate. I have 2.6M now and I either cash out now or hope it will increase.
Right now, I am very angry. Those giving me advice should come and contribute the 400k for me o
Another thing, do you think the dollar will increase or should I just cut my loses. I am so tired 😫 Keep it till next year and see the wonders |

Agriculture › Re: I Want To Invest In Your Agricultural Business by Ynix(m): 5:23am On Oct 24, 2023 |
DawsonCole: Hello!
I am a Nigerian, passionate about Nigeria and the growth of Nigeria. I am very well aware that agriculture is an integral sector for the sustainable growth and development of any society. I have come to realise that many Nigerians do not like farming, do not like to produce, but rather want to consume. Sadly, we cannot grow this way as a country, and even more sadly, unemployed and underemployed Nigerians still do not see agriculture as an option. How bad if you ask me.
Growing up as a kid, farming was something I really enjoyed doing. I was actively involved in the cultivation of beans, corn, groundnut and potatoes. Several times, produce from the small farm in my family compound saved us from hunger. In the mornings, I will stroll to the farm at the back of the house, harvest some potatoes, go to the kitchen, wash the potatoes, peel off the back, wash it, fry it, and breakfast is served!
Right now, due to the nature of my work, I cannot directly be involved in farming, no matter how hard I try. As a result, I have thought to support (by investment) local farmers who are highly passionate about agriculture (prefereably someone with a degree in the Agricultural sciences or related field) and has some experience in agriculture. A degree in agriculture may not be needed if the person can prove that they have at least 3 years of continuous experience in agriculture.
If you are (or if you know anyone who is) highly interested in agriculture (whatever type - but prefarably cocoa, rubber, palm oil, diary, or similar high value agro products), kindly invite them to this thread. They should say what they are currently doing, provide pictures of their farm if possible, and say why they need investment in their business. What is your planned level of investment. I know of an trained expert in Sawah Eco technology in rice farming both in Japan and Thailand with over 15 years expecting, he works with NCAM and has a rice plantation project. If you are interested state the amount you are looking at. You can drop your email or reach out to me on 08184397113 for further discussion |

Unless they are going to build a huge damn to store water for the reactors.
Then the next issue is how do you get rid of the spent heavy water ? Burkina Faso has three main rivers — the Black Volta, the Red Volta and the White Volta and they are big enough that they feed the Atlantic Ocean. So what other excuses |

RevDesm0ndJuju: You need a shit tonne of fresh water to maintain a nuclear reactor .
The fuel rods heat up water and from there turn it into steam that drives an electric turbine.
Water is key in a nuclear energy reactor .
You need water to both convert to steam and to keep the nuclear rods from melting down and spewing radiation everywhere. And what is the Upper Volta River for |

wwwkaycom: THIS STORY IS ACTUALLY FROM A FRIEND, HE SENT IT TO A WHATSAPP PLATFORM WE BELONG TO. I AM SEEKING ADVISE AND ASSISTANCE FOR HIM HERE PLEASE
My childhood friend is based in Texas, USA. He traveled out 12 years ago. Actually I work with government in Nigeria with a salary of 180k per month. It is becoming increasingly tough to take care of family responsibilities so early this year, I started making moves to relocate to US or Canada.
But the issues surrounding japa are quite enormous so I reached out to my friend to seek his advise, suggestions and possibly financial loan which I will pay back. He gave me some important reasons why I shouldn't migrate. He spoke about my age, no technical skill, finances, leaving known for unknown and difficulties faced by new comers in America. I didn't agree with these reasons even though he sounded genuine. I left him and started making other moves but eventually realized I still needed him.
8 months later, I spoke with him again, he repeated the same reasons why I shouldn't relocate. I am not 50 yet, I know a 56 year old man who relocated to Canada late last year and today his family members have started faring well here in Nigeria. Infact, his son who is presently rounding off his NYSC will be moving by march next year so what is the fuss about my age? I have made up my mind to stop seeking his support and carry my cross myself.
Thank you all. Go through schooling, start by trying places like Austria, Norway and Iceland from there you can go to the big 5. Else you will just waste money. Your friend may be talking about your earning ratio, if you have to JAPA you have to plan it carefully. Don't leave your job, apply for study leave go and school in cheaper regions like Sweden. Also learn a digital skill with digitization you can earn in dollars from here |
