PoliticsRe: This Is The Real Video - Saddam's Hanging by Ynot(m): 5:28pm On Jan 01, 2007
I still maintained that Saddam is not dead. The video is crappy and went blank the moment he dropped. It amazes me how the media; CNN, FOX, etc, insist on viewers description advised about the hanging yet they are all glad to show tom cruse blow everyone to bits in his movies.

Foreign AffairsRe: Saddam Hussein Sentenced To Death By Hanging by Ynot(op): 4:23pm On Dec 31, 2006
Like someone said, what goes around, comes around. Here is a video of Rumsfeld and Saddam in the good 'ol days. Its ironic how they supported his regime then and now shout at the top of their head about crime against humanity. Talk about dining with the devil with a very long spoon.

Yeah he is grin i just like to see what stupid thing he says or does next in the begining it gave him an odd sex appeal but now its run its course for me but some still thinks he has it. I just love the way they probe until they find a solution to the puzzle its all about the puzzle.

Don't forget Omarr Epps character Eric brilliant and beautiful.
House, M.D. is one of the best shows on television right now. He pops pills, watches soaps, and always, always says what's on his mind. I thought i would get tired of watching the series by now but no, i'm hooked. One thing i don't like though is his often racial remarks on Eric (Omarr Epps).

One of my favorite Houseism:

From, "Paternity"

Hello, sick people and their loved ones! In the interest of saving time and avoiding a lot of boring chitchat later, I'm Doctor Gregory House; you can call me "Greg." I'm one of three doctors staffing this clinic this morning. This ray of sunshine is Doctor Lisa Cuddy. Doctor Cuddy runs this whole hospital, so unfortunately she's much too busy to deal with you. I am a board certified diagnostician with a double specialty of infectious disease and nephrology. I am also the only doctor currently employed at this hospital who is forced to be here against his will. That is true, isn't it? But not to worry, because for most of you, this job could be done by a monkey with a bottle of Motrin. Speaking of which, if you're particularly annoying, you may see me reach for this: this is Vicodin. It's mine! You can't have any! And no, I do not have a pain management problem, I have a pain problem, but who knows? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm too stoned to tell. So, who wants me?
Foreign AffairsRe: Saddam Hussein Sentenced To Death By Hanging by Ynot(op): 8:25pm On Dec 29, 2006
Let me tell you guys what will happen. The US will hand over Saddam to the Iraqis, they will annouce that he has been hanged and secretly send him over to northern part of Nigeria to live the rest of his life in peace.
PoliticsRe: Who Is The Worst Nigerian President To Date? by Ynot(m): 4:51am On Dec 28, 2006
IBB might be the worst but don't forget the role he played in bringing women into political limelight. His wife redefined the role of first lady in Nigeria. A legacy most women are now enjoying.

@ynot, i can tell you confidently that pipelines cannot puncture on their own. The're not car tyres
Well, confidently does not in any way mean certainty. They are not made with diamond (even if they are) hence, they can puncture on their own ~ old age, lack of maintenance, etc.
CelebritiesRe: James Brown Is Dead by Ynot(m): 10:28pm On Dec 26, 2006
Heard they are already fighting over his estate. His allegedly fourth wife was locked out the building by his kids lawyer. Reason: they were not legally married. She was still married to another guy when she got married to James. Hope this doesn't turn out ugly.
TravelRe: Another Fuel Blast In Lagos: by Ynot(m): 10:19pm On Dec 26, 2006
Its always easy to blame the next guy. The supplied link said " pipeline punctured by thieves, officials said". One wonders how 'officials' came up with that so quickly. I've had enough reasons not to believe what 'officials' always come up with immediately, following such incidence. If its a consolation to anyone, pipeline can puncture on their own but again that does not justify people rushing to scoop fuel from what they knew will eventually lead to death. May the bereaved find solace in God.

PoliticsRe: What Is The I G Still Doing In Power? by Ynot(m): 12:37pm On Dec 24, 2006
I get your point and we both want Nigeria to be better but you're looking at the glass as half empty while i'm seeing it as half full. Trust me, there is nothing i would like more than own gun legally in Nigeria. But no one respect the law down there and you will agree, there is nothing like fair trial in Nigeria today. You forgot that robbers are civilians too and will more likely acquire even more dangerous weapons if given the chance. Then who will protect who and how will it all end?

In American, a guy with same legalized gun can easily walk into a school full of kids and let them have it. Is that what you want? At least if you give an armed robber what he ask for, he just might spare your life. I'm not in any way encouraging arm robbery just chosing a lesser of two evil. The ruling body should find a way to strengthen the police force to protect the citizenry not arm them. Gun is not the solution.

We can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once.

Jakumo:
I see NO solution to this predicament, other than to allow civilians to arm themselves and protect their own lives and property just like in America's Wild West days of yore.
Oh no you didn't! As if we don't have a enough problem already. Do you know the type of chaos that will ensure with everyone brandishing a gun. You don't give people gun where there is no law and order. Because it worked in America does not mean it will work in Nigeria of today. If i had legal gun in Nigeria, i already know whom i'm going after.

Pleaseeee give her a break. What part of her rant don't you understand? Trump should not, is not and must not be the moral compass for American youths. This is what she said:

"(He) left the first wife – had an affair. (He) had kids both times, but he's the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend."

They both have their issues but i think Trump would've walked away (instead of acting like a 9 year old) from this without mentioning her sexual orientation. Unfortunately, they've roped us all in on this now.

You need to visit and experience OKC. Never been to Olathe but going by my stay at Wichita, i can tell you Kansas has nothing to offer. Maybe it has a lot to do with lifestyle. I've been a lot of places, didn't like here at first but now i'm glad to call OKC home.

I don't know if this is relevant - get yourself a Zune (from Microsoft). Its about the same price as Ipod nano (video). It has radio and you can share music via wireless. The screen is wider than that of Ipod.

As above, Maybe the Nigerian youth has not had enough of suffering and the hardship of survival.

When Nigerians have enough and want to stop it, they will. History is replete with many of such around the world
I wish they do. But we all aware that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. An average Nigerian youth will rather take the easy way out - leave the country, given the opportunity.
PoliticsRe: Yar'Adua: President In Waiting? by Ynot(m): 6:42pm On Dec 19, 2006
Just so we are clear, whats the action plan of Nigerian youths? How are they going to help solve the problem? Going to the moon because it's there material can't work. I've heard people here talk about revolution. What will be the outcome? If taking action means destroying the society and burning down the limited infrastructure we have ONLY, forget it.

you dream too much

the British monarchy is "just there" they don't make laws
One cannot dispute the hidden powers of the Monarch. Yes, they don't make laws but the lawmakers are loyal to them. It is an extension of indirect rule and they can't get rid of that. Uncle Tony would not have been the Prime Minister without the Queen's sanction. Thinking otherwise is just being oblivious of the system.

All hail the queen.

Christianity EtcChurch, Gays, Episcopal And Nigeria Connection by Ynot(op): 8:48am On Dec 19, 2006
Excerpt from Washington Post

Two of the country's largest and most historic Episcopal congregations -- both in Fairfax County -- will vote next week on whether to leave the U.S. church on ideological grounds and affiliate instead with a controversial Nigerian archbishop.

Some conservatives in the Episcopal Church, the U.S. wing of the worldwide Anglican Communion, believe the church abandoned Scripture by installing a gay bishop in New Hampshire in 2003, among other things. Those feelings of alienation were strengthened when Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori -- who supports the New Hampshire bishop -- was elected this summer to lead the national church.

If the votes at The Falls Church and Truro succeed, as their leaders predict, the 3,000 active members of the two churches would join a new, Fairfax-based organization that answers to Nigerian Archbishop Peter J. Akinola, leader of the 17 million-member Nigerian church and an advocate of jailing gays.

Does anyone have the inside story on this and/or the extent of Akinola's involvement? Its kinda strange how Akinola is calling the shots from Nigeria. Comments from same editorial shows hate towards Akinola and once again, questioned Nigeria involvement and integrity.
