Raymond L. Chukwu. A Nigerian in wrong party (Republican). He lost to Mike M. Honda of California House District 15. |
lol. Muslims don't eat pork. I think what he deserve is half done beans, cooked egg and ribeye steak. That will prroduce enough gas as the noose tightens. |
@ WesleyanA and ZuluNation You two need too get a room. |
I will sum it all in Nancy's words to Bush: "Now we have made history," she said, "its time to make progress." @ Eastcoast Don't worry, the good guys are here now. She will be home soon. |
lafile:US is not Nigeria. First, elected officials are held accountable for their actions in US congress. Second, its clear the election is a referendum on the war in Iraq. People are tired of losing their loved ones in an unnecessary war. Rumsfeld and Cheney were the architect of this war without planned exit strategy. Saddam has been captured and recently convicted. Its time for the US soldiers to leave Iraq. They are gunning for Cheney next. The $9 billion missing from Iraq fund must be accounted for. Halliburton contracts must be reviewed. There will be a lot of subpoena and questions. People must be held accountable. Thats what voters want and the Dems will deliver. |
babyosisi:There is nothing wrong with my soul. I believe in God, I'm not gay and definitely don't smoke Meth. Whats there to pray for? |
babyosisi:Yea, i'm all for saving his soul too. take a look at Ted Haggard in action |
babyosisi:I can't help but feel cheated he used our sunday offering to buy Meth, pay another guy for sex, not to mention other things we don't know yet and still expect people to give more? |
babyosisi:You don't have to look far. The above says it all. |
naijarikan:Resigned?? i don't think so. He was fired. Yes, FIRED. Madam speaker called the white house earlier today and demanded Bush get rid of him or there will be hell in washington. |
He has settled the beef with IRS and no longer a wanted man. He made arrangement to pay back the money though. |
Just like i said, Rummy is history now. The people has spoken. I'm feeling the new wave now. I love democracy. |
chickalo:Yea right! justin timberlake said otherwise. |
It was obvious Dems were geared to win this time. They will bring the much needed change in Washington. Most people are fed up with rubber-stamp republicans, their scandals and corruption. As for madam speaker, she is the right medicine for arrogant Bush. If nothing else, she will force him to get rid of Rummy. |
IBEXY:Actually her marriage to Jason wasn't for publicity. They went to Vegas, got drunk and got married. She forgot the popular what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. The next day, she realized what happened and filled for annulment. I think same thing happened to Paris Hilton. Britney was just a lil girl crying out to be a woman by all means. Well, with two toddlers under her belt, she finally realized marriage ain't that rosy. I was surprised she married kev of all guys in the world. i knew it wasn't gon last. Initially, i thought he must have given her some love potion or summ. Some people smoke weed just for fun but this guy's life depend on weed. I heard Reese Witherspoon filed for divorce too. |
davidylan:Thought the appellate court has the final say? Once they decide the trial was up to standard and make judgement, it will be carried out within 30 days. I have a feeling they will lift the hanging (give him a life sentence probably) but again Saddam has other 10 charges pending. |
Ndipe: gaby:How do you explain his actions? The sex part wasn't just a fling. I would understand if it was just a one time temptation but for 3 years, it got to be in his gene. I feel so sorry for his kids and more especially, the wife. How do you tell your neighbor that your husband prefers putting his kini in another guys a$$. |
Yea i guess it will be alright if you wife can watch and/or agree to participate in the act. That will make you happy, right? Poor woman. |
This is a serious matter. I don't believe his sin started just yesterday. He has been systematically smoking meth, having sex with a gay prostitute and lying about it for 3 years. Yet every sunday he climbs the pulpit and preach to high heaven. Its a classical case of double standard. Its good thing they strip him off his pastoral title/function. I'm waiting for the Denver police to charge him for possession of illegal drugs and adultery. The question now is, was he born gay? |
moresko:Here will go again - another right wing Page molester. Its not about fighting for the country but the invasion of Iraq by GOP war machine. Many people including yours truly don't mind going after Osama in Afghanistan (reason: he claimed responsible for 11/9) but the war in Iraq is not only unnecessary but illegal. |
We might not like the way Iraq was invaded (i personally don't) but does it take divine vision to see that saddam was the hit man in Iraq? He enriched himself with public fund and murdered some people that allegedly planned to assassinate him . I just wish leaders of this world will learn something out of it - you can never get free from abusing peoples freedom. |
I've said this before and i will still say it again: put tax on church revenue. that will not only solve the problem but the contributors will benefit from their sweat and I know God won't mind. |
Odeku:How do you do that? Do you have to be in DC in person or you can just call them on phone? |
Apparently the slowpoke don't see it that way. He thinks he's doing us a favor by remaining in office. |
I think this shows how our so called leaders place their priority above that of the people they govern. Last time i checked, we didn't elect Atiku (you can argur OBJ too) but the President has the power to drop him from his cabinet. Things will not always work between two people. Thats why we have divorce lawyers and court. Since they can't get along, Atiku should do the honourable thing and that is: resign instead of sleeping his life away and getting paid. |
Its ironic how he kept shouting long live the people. The very people he oppressed and murdered. |
Saddam Hussein Sentenced To Hang Saddam Hussein, half brother and another senior official was convicted and sentenced today to death by hanging for war crimes in the 1982 killings of 148 people (crime against humanity) in the town of Dujail, as the former leader, trembling, shouted "God is great!" This shows that justice, no matter how late it comes can still be served. I rejoice with Iraq people. We are waiting for Charles Taylor to receive his! |
rikkyjen:Funny thing is, you can never run away from uncle sam. I heard registering with selective service is one of the criteria they consider before giving you Pell grant. That is, if you don't sign away your life to defend the country, no education for you. |
The president has maintained there will be no draft. That said, as a citizen you ought to go out and vote for democrats this Tuesday. If they became the majority in both House and Senate, the googler-in-chief and his cohorts will have lots of questions to answer. They will cut off his Iraq fund and possibly initiate troop withdrawal. |
adewaleafolabi:If you mean releasing Windows source code, i will say thats wishful thinking!!! |
NO. one man can never make that much difference in Nigeria. Unless you are referring to a military dictator. One man can never make a country. Thats why you see the chaos in the upcoming US congress election. Should the democrat win the majority, Bush will be in hot soup. They will incapacitate his 'lets kill everybody that don't agree with him' agenda. In the present Nigeria democratic setting, it takes the president and the congress to establish a law. Whats he gon do when they oppose his policy? You know very well that most congress members are corrupt and they are just there to steal our money. What we need is to educate the public on their roles in shaping Nigeria. Know who they are voting for and why. But again, its a general believe that elections are massively rigged in Nigeria. People don't obey laws in Nigeria (might be, they don't know the law in the first place). The police that was created to enforce the law are busy stealing money from the masses. The judiciary system that was supposed to interpret the law threw jurisprudence out the window. So tell me, how is one man gon make it all work. My point is, it will take a collective input from all sectors to make Nigeria better. |
