My wife was ban 4yrs ago at the UK embassy due to some fake document an agent use in her application and we just got married few months ago and i want to apply for a work visa and i want my wife and kid to accompany me.

*did she stand a good chance as i am the main applicant?

someone advice i apply alone then once my visa has been approved then she can apply separately.
i don't want this if she will not be issued visa there is no point traveling alone without my wife and kid.

I know of someone that was ban but got married to one European woman and they both travel to London together but the wife was the main applicant. i dont want to mix this things up because i am black with a Nigerian passport.

That was too fast. What documents did you submit? Have you ever overstayed longer than your 6 months on visit visa in any of your travel outside Nigeria or USA? Did you submit any asset documentation?

Can one apply for Gcms after a year?

I don’t have any one in Canada to apply for Gcms. People who have done this before should advice me.

Oh wow... I'm sorry to hear you were refused the visa. If you know someone in canada you can apply for your gcms notes here: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do
You'd have to give them consent to apply on your behalf. There's a form you can also find on the link.

If you dont have anyone in Canada, you can apply through some private companies. I don't know a lot about them so I'd leave it for the experts..

Did you also get the Correspondence letter for biometrics validity?

My application was refused and to my surprise the whole process was too fast. I submitted January 14 went for bioMetric the third day. Today I got an email that my application was refused. With this nonsense generic response “
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

Please how did you schedule biometrics appointment with vfs? I went there today for biometrics, they told me I need to first schedule appointment but I haven't been able to schedule it since morning. I am getting "You have exceeded the maximum no. of allowed appointments" error when I try to schedule online but I have never scheduled any appointment. I also sent them email to schedule appointment, they just said they'll get back to me, I haven't heard anything. I am trying to schedule the appointment for Monday, please help.

I just got this email now from cic. “We sent you a message about your application to your account.

That is it. Since you've paid, send a web form informing them of the mistake. If not, your application will be a very fast one and of course a refusal. They no dey play with that 2b question o especially if it's U.S refusal

The web form is it an updated imm5257 form that has been corrected ?
Where do I send or direct it to please see attachment of different cic emails

That b section is where you are supposed to say yes and give details of the refusal. Go and be praying that they overlook it.

God if I had to wait till this morning to submit for payment. I knew there should Section I just overlook it. Vo no go overlook am oooo chai. I was avoiding this cos most times Vo don’t overlook. But there should be away to adjust this can I write a letter to this effect
