BusinessBanks To Commence Bio-metric Data Capture Forcustomers by Youngzedd(op): 7:35am On Nov 15, 2012
LAGOS – Nigerian banks under the
auspices of the bankers committee
will soon commence a bio-metric
data capture for all customers
in the banking sector.

Managing Director of the Nigerian
Deposit Insurance Corporation,
NDIC, Mr. Umaru Ibrahim, disclosed
this yesterday at the ongoing
seminar for finance journalists in
Dutse, Jigawa state capital.

According to Ibrahim, the banks are
in arrangement to have such a
system that will capture the data of
all bank customers in the country.

He said the national data system
had not been forthcoming and that
banks have decided not to continue
to wait for the purported national
data system by the National
Identity Management, but to go
ahead with their own data.

He said the banks are considering
going into partnership with Pension
Fund Operators, PFAs, because
they have a similar system in the
pension sector.

The banks, according to him, were
advised to partner with the PFAs so
as not to waste resources and
because it will help the banking
system.

Ibrahim said that an initiative to
promote financial inclusion in
Nigeria is the cashless
policy designed to bring low-cost,
secure and convenient financial
services to urban, semi-urban and
rural areas across the country.

Chikebrain: Please youngzedd please explain this: "FAIR USAGE POLICY (THRESHOLD Cap)" and "The cons of these data bundles are the fact that they are expensive and you'll get throttled down after the first day of using, making browsing speed variably low."
(I dey talk see Father, you they talk see Priest). SMH
What about starcomms? (Don't you have a link so I could also prove you wrong)
This services (data bundles) are unlimited even after you use up to the data cap allocated. It'll still browse but your bandwidth will be throttled down, therefore making browsing speed slow.
Please I'll advise that you practicalise things before you start challenging or arguing blindly with anyone.
Thanks

Chikebrain: I believe you ought to be the one to make enquiries. In my post above I made mention that it's unlimited for the number of hours purchased. Go and do your research before you start asking people to make enquiries. MTN, startcomms gives unlimited bandwidth for the period of time you purchased.
Thanks

Chikebrain: .
MTN gives unlimited data plan
20 HOURS-7 DAYS-N1,500-20H to 131
100 HOURS-30 DAYS-N5,000-100H
300 HOURS-90 DAYS-N13,000-300H

Starcomms also give unlimited.
The cons of these data bundles are the fact that they are expensive and you'll get throttled down after the first day of using making browsing speed variably low. I'll suggest that you go for the unlimited with the MTN BIS or Multilinks evdo modem and a VPN software. it's much cheaper, faster, consistent. I'm currently using the unlimited and have downloaded more than 20GB in less than a month. I'll suggest the Unlimited package with MTN BIS.
You can mail me up on chike.louis@yahoo.com if you are interested.
Thanks
NO 9JA NETWORK OFFERS UNLIMITED DATA PLAN EXCEPT BB PLAN.

But the one way dey vex me pass na selling of things inside the church, I mean inside the church building more especially Trinitas and The punch news papers and others we sell inside the church from seat to seat @ St Jude Catholic Church Fegge Onitsha Anambra state. That is where I attend church services.
It pains me a lot on the kind of things we do inside the church that suppose to be sacred.

It shall be well in Jesus name, we will soon realise.
SportsLionel Messi Breaks Pele´s Record by Youngzedd(op):
https://cache.images.globalsportsmedia.com/news/soccer/2012/11/11/295489header.jpg

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has broken
former Brazil international Pele's
scoring record of 75 goals during one
calendar year.

The Brazilian was in second place
behind Gerd Mueller, who netted 85
times for Bayern Munich and West
Germany during just 60 games in 1972.

However, the 25-year-old Argentine is
now only chasing down the legendary
forward thanks to a double against
Mallorca on Sunday.

His first came on the stroke of half-time in fortuitous style, squeezing a shot under Dudu Aouate to make it 2-0 to Barca.

After the break, Barca faced a fight back from Mallorca, but Messi was there to make it 4-2 in fantastic fashion, combining well with Alexis Sanchez before scoring a stunning goal.

Messi has managed his 76 goals in just
59 appearances and has nine league
games – plus his internationals – to
break Mueller's record.

ijawkid: We are talking about worship here...

If people bow down before the images or carvings of there parents both at home and @ church in other to get to GOD then that will be blatant idolatry....

And you know that is exactly what you guys do......

Bowing before a white womans image or moulding and praying through her, hoping she will convey your prayers to God...

I wonder which god sef.....
The problem we Roman Catholic have is just that we don't read bible, all we do is go to Mass.

Am a proud Roman Catholic but I don't follow some of their teaches, just like images.
Christianity EtcRe: Important Lesson To Christians About The Use Of Images In Worship by Youngzedd(m): 11:36am On Nov 11, 2012
Foxflames: I believe it is mainly out of ignorance that protestants and non-Catholics say that, Catholics worship idols.
Since the protestants like quoting the bible, let me quote one too...
Remember when God told Moses to place in the Temple in the very presence of God, the Holy of Holies:
"...2 ANGELS of hammered gold …their wings spread upward..The angels are to face each other..-Ex. 25:18-20
So, God Himself wanted a couple of images of “things in Heaven” in the Tabernacle

And then we have the incident where the children of Israel were bitten by fiery serpents and …
Numbers 21:8 The LORD said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”
Obviously, God has not forbidden art because He commanded specific kinds of art to decorate the Temple and to save the Israelites from snakebites.
He just didn’t want us to Worship these things
“You must not bow down to them or worship them”

Why does the Catholic Church have Art in Churches? I can think of 5 reasons.
1. Pictures and statues are like family photos in our houses of worship only we have images of the Family of God.
Doesn’t every house have family pictures?

2. As an aid to prayer and to keep us focused.

3. To remind us of those who set an example of heroic Christian living.

4. As reminders of Stories of Faith; to teach our children when a child asks, “Who is that?”

5. To tell the stories of our Faith to all the generations in the last 2000 years when Bibles were too expensive for individuals to own and most people could not read anyway. Did you know, even today 20% of the world population cannot read? But everyone can understand art.

source: This is from a protestant turned Catholic
http://bfhu./2011/10/19/another-protestant-tradition-catholics-worship-idols/
That same God told Moses to build an image also told Moses and others not to bow and worship images.

Tell me the reasons why people pray in front of the images.
And also concluding prayers using the name of saints e:g Mary, Tansi etc instead of God almighty.

Upright750: You have not even go to church but ur here quoting bible. Do you guys think u will understand bible without the spirit of God in you. Please go to church or are u guys running away from church cuz of boko haram and their bomb.

The guy is saying the truth naa.

I was born in Catholic church and am still there, I went to 7am mass.

"You shall know the truth and only the truth shall set you free"

Remember the scripture said you shall not add or remove.

I do attend church programs but I will NEVER worship idol, I will never bow to the images we have in church.
To avoid Gods' wrath.

Always open ur bible atleat 5 times in a week.

Don't be deceived.
