I rarely make careless statements. Oliseh a politician and not a coach. His tenure will be the worst of all local coaches. Mark this quote. |
nduchucks:grazing routes in the north west and north east yes but other places no. I know all these recent heightened clashes are well orchestrated. I know you guys so well but you won't get it. Make ranches and buy lands and pay taxes to. |
And thiagoneves never you insult the black race by calling them derogatory names else I'll bash your skull to the wall. Lol |
In my opinion you are a black man since your direct father is a black man. However, the issue of race is really a debatable one. We have to consider the children and grandchildren of mixed race people. Over a long generation those people will neither be inclined to any of the two major races so we have accept them as another race. Culture and customs help to properly define a race and clearly coloured people esp in SA have neither of both. I once met a mixed man of British father and coloured mother and he jokingly referred to himself as a fake white man even though he clearly has not just a caucasian features but a British(Arian) features. Why would he make such a statement? We have to understand that things evolve over time and many factors contribute to evolution. In west Africa, half caste people as we refer to them are not much and even do not span a lot of generation so they can comfortably fit into the black man's race. The same can be said of those ones in America who most times are further diluted with more stronger negroe genes through marriages with other black people but in SA the situation is different. Mixed race marrying mixed race over time has brought forth a more stronger base of a coloured race. They cannot regard themselves as black people given that their features are clearly different from black and white. More so when the blacks there have not offered much things that can endear these people to them. Its a beautiful world and there are more pressing things to bother yourself with than the issue of race. |

donphilopus:Mention just one of them that is jail already or you think will eventually end in jail so that we and other readers will bookmark for future reference purpose. I'll be waiting. |
MayorofLagos:You it was out of bigotry chose to see it as a dick measuring contest. When Igbos say that you Yorubas think we are in competition with you, you always come out to deny it. This post is not for that. You can see the humble beginning of the man. A refugee marked for death by a people who are supposed to be his compatriots but today God has elevated him. Its not about pride as his ascension has little to nothing to do with his hardwork or brilliance but rather by fate. He was adopted by the former president and grew up as a Gabonese. If you call him the Moses of our time you will be very correct. Learn to be happy for some individuals and good will come to you. Your Awolowo marked him for death but God elevated him. To God be the Glory. |
Is it today that we know what is obtainable in Nigeria? You can quote me any day; nothing will happen to Audu. At best a charade will be carried out but he will never be jailed. Only southern law offenders will be punished. I know this Nigeria too well. Mind you those who control the media will not write much about this issue. |
The resemblance is much. He could be the one. God is not dead. A man's destiny can never be stopped. In the same vein the destiny of a nation(biafra) though may be delayed but can never be stopped. |
And to the topic, there's no how you can boycott Yoruba goods. We all need each others goods and services for now. We must follow lawful ways to solve our problems. When arms are necessary then we must use them. Boycotting goods and services normally are the last stages of a confrontation. Physical fights come first before that one. |
kettykin:The problem about those markets in Lagos is because our people lack very wise leadership. If it the hausas who have half of the population and businesses in Lagos like we do the government of the state will have respected so much. What happened at Alaba showed that the association that manages is very weak. How can you have some squabbles with some yoruba touts and you won't beef up security with enough ammunitions? Why will you just go and sleep when you know the kind of people you're dealing with. The case of Ladipo is another one. If the govt has given orders for you to vacate then you have to cooperate for smooth governance. However if the time is too short then you can go to court to get injunctions that will help put a halt and sufficient time given to relocate. Why will a government do demolition on a Sunday? If it was the hausas it won't happen. They will physically barricade the area. The problem with a majority of us is that we don't know the level of hatred against us. Go to Alaba rago and see how dirty that place is. It stinks and its just opposite LASU. I can say with boldness that Lagos state government cannot go and demolish that place any how. They know what's up. Tell me why I should not hate Nigeria. |
SovietBomber:I don't care if they can't stand up to the hausas or fulanis but being to eager to accuse the Igbos for any crime is too despicable in my estimate. Even the greatest opposers of biafra are the same people. Why will a people be so wicked. You insult, accuse falsely and threaten a people and yet you don't want them to leave the house you share with them. This is evil as evil can be. |
ZelrothCloven:Your consistent way of pouring insults speak a lot about you. I won't be wrong if I call you a 'dan iska'. Now to the forth coming census I know you guys are good in planning and execution. Your have already set up all the parameters to give yourselves a high population but I'll tell you something. All your machinations will fail. Just at the time when you will be rejoicing that all is fine suddenly darkness will overtake you. You will be dashed to the ground and will never recover. Mark this my post. It will surely come to pass. All your falsehood will be laid bare and shame will be your lot. |
Whether Nigeria will be destroyed or not is debatable. I say what I say with a clear mind. Nigeria is not a nation and her evil government will soon expire. If you don't right the wrongs of yesteryears it will definitely come to haunt you. To the tweet credited to one chimaokoro36. I don't see anything wrong in what he said. He first started with: I pray for Nigeria. He was even interceding for the evil contraption but what did he get accusations and threat. At present many yorubas have started making serious theories on how the igbos are the ones behind boko haram. For over 6 six years now countless hausas, fulanis, kanuris and whole lot of northerners have been caught in the act of boko related activities but no one has roped in their ethnic groups. Even the yorubas have had a sizable number of their people in the boko debacle but no one has blamed it on the entire tribe but here we are now attributing statement a faceless handle to the an ethnic group without any verification. I have said it times without number to my fellow igbos. The amount of hatred harboured against us is too much. We can't afford to remain hopeful of any future in this evil contraption. Our enemies are not sleeping. They are daily plotting on how exterminate us. We must be vigilant and resolute on our quest for a new country. Death to this Nigeria. |
tonychristopher:Nwanna rapu okwu. Inugo nwanyi anuberom. Rapurum asa a mara nma ka m je i ije na isi ya ka I choro ka m gwa nwanyi ogume? Lol |

Aufbauh:I take it that you are a Tiv man therefore I'll never have any compassion for your tribe again. Face your problems alone. |
melzabull:Ada bu Agu! Always representing. I'm gradually falling in love. |
Nigeria is not a nation and has never been. You OP have a very good desire to see her great but another man's definition of Nigeria being great is when you don't have a say in what happens in the contraption. I assume you're an Igbo man so I'll ask you this question. How much do you know about history and the politics of the evil Nigerian government with respect to Igboland. I hope you do an indepth research and what I discovered has help change my orientation. I use to even see a possible cooperation with our fellow southerners- the Yorubas so break through the quagmire that we've found ourselves but how wrong I was. Recent events has made me give up on such an impossibility. As you are busy thinking of a beautiful Nigeria some are some where thinking on how to destroy your people and take over your land. I had a very similar childhood as you so I do understand your stance but reality must be faced when you get matured. Your people are hated in Nigeria. I know this too well. |
PointB:Saying the truth pointblank. Always on point PointB. |
ZelrothCloven:I'll overlook your insult and puerile rantings. Having spent atleast a score of my life in the north, there's nothing you can tell me about the region. The saving grace of the Fulanis were the military heads of state who always chose a fulani dominated town as the various capitals of the states they created. Gombe state you mentioned how many fulanis are there save for the main Gombe town? All the zangos they have scattered around, what population can they boast of? In Bauchi state where you guys have succeeded in swallowing numerous minority tribes and tormenting others who refused to fall in line eg the sayawas of tafawa belawa, gbogoro and environs. Most nairalanders won't have known of the Eggons until the ombatse debacle. I know about the north just as I know the palm of my hands. Your population is highly exaggerated. |
danjumakolo:The Fulani population is not even up to 10million. They are mainly found in the northwest and northeast and the only state where their language is of any relevance is in Adamawa state. Why they are very influential is because they've mastered politics and the manipulations of its power. Notice how they rode on the hausa population to ruling virtually all the northern states. Its a great feat I must admit. I repeat they are less than 10million in Nigeria. |
bigfrancis21:Ndigbo must be very vigilant with what is being presented of recent. Which census figure gave the 18% being credited to us? Who carried out that census? Some mischief makers are at it again. If we keep silent in the future posts like this will be used for reference by our kids. We must debunk such blatant falsehood anywhere and everywhere. Since when did the Yorubas or the scanty areas of hausaland have more population than the Igbos? Our silence means we concede to their propositions. UmuIgbo k'anyi muru anya ka azu. |
Whatever this government does should not be dismissed with the wave of a hand. Its a carefully planned thing. I personally believe that buhari's government doesn't want these men to go away with the rich knowledge they possess. They could be a strong impediment to a future plan so the best thing is to draw them back to the battle front for another ambush. Mark this my comment today. Future events will validate this post. |
Its now a normal thing in Nigeria. Lives have never had value in the cesspit. We will see where this chess game will end. |
laudate:Ardo, laudate say that you should tell your boys to leave the Obas of Kabba because they are poor. He said you can come down to Oyo state. There's one Oba there who is so rich such that Tura company is planning of how to make him an ambassador of their product. He said if you still don't want a bleached prey then Ogun state will definitely provide you with the numerous cash cows that would pay handsomely. Leave the financially struggling traditional rulers of Kogi alone pls. |
chrisblack:One of the vultures have now perched. With less than 40 comments after having over a thousand views showed that the community of vultures hovered over this thread when they saw the title but on opening it discovered a discussion tangential to their expectations. God Almighty will give us victory over those who hate to see our happiness. Those whose stock in trade is to sow dissension among us; God will deal with them mercilessly. |

Help spread the message wherever you are. This is a matured way of getting our goal. Yet all young men must hear up for any madness from our enemies. I equally implore our frenemies from the west who would want to see Igbos leave their lands to support the petition too. Take the information to your likes so that our quest may see the light of the day. |
Yazmin:Plateau doesn't have a large amount of Muslims. Oh yes at yelwan shendam there are many muslims even in Mangu and Wase but they are far from being called large percentage. Lalong is just playing with the future of Plateau whilst thinking he's playing politics. |
If we are to go by facts then catholicism is truly not Christianity. However, many members of the catholic church are christians who unfortunately do not know much about catholicism. How can one who believes in Jesus pray to Mary to plead to Jesus when Christ has made it clear that he is the only way? How can Christ reject your prayers when he said he came for the sinners and that he is the one seeking for the sinners to dine with them? Mary duties ended after the Holy spirit came on Christ with power to begin His earthly duties and was achieved by His death on the cross. His resurrection and ascension was to give us assurance that He will always be there for us even as He at present intercedes for us before the Father. Majority of Catholics don't know this. The mode of worship is centred around the veneration of Mary which ought not to be. Muslims are certainly not brothers to Christians and so the Pope is wrong if he said that as a religious figure that he is. We share the same humanity as them so we are bound to have some kinds of cordial relationship but certainly not brotherly as long as religion is concerned. May God grant us understanding of things that will guarantee us peace with Him. |
Onyejiuwaokoh:I'm glad some of our people have started understanding these people called Fulanis. They don't pay for lands and also don't pay tax. That strategy is really working for them so far. However, not too long from now they will be hemmed. Nice one from the Ondo youths. |
