oluspencer:And that your so called waterloo we shall come again. Prepare something bigger this time around. |
teeowl:Cassava is definitely not indigenous to Nigeria and probably the whole of west Africa. Its a verifiable fact. The Akpu we eat today wasn't what our far ancestors ate. I'll put the date it was introduced to Nigeria at the 18th century or later. Yam and cocoyam represented very well. |
Who takes a useless goat seriously? |
tonychristopher:Don't mind that guy. Ndoki is pure Igbo. I've been there twice. Two of my friends are from that place and on the two occasions it was their place I went to. Former Senate President Adolphus Wabara is from there. Another female friend of mine is from them. Her surname is Amakiri . She told me that she has relatives in Rivers state. She said her grandfather and his brother's moved down to Rivers state but her grandfather returned before the creation of boundaries. They are Igbos as Igbos can be. Those people even understand a bit of Ibibio because of their proximity to Akwa Ibom. Ukwa East is definitely Ndoki while Ukwa West is Asa. |
Hello pus |
What a season of accidents. |
All is fair in war. I will not forget this statement. It doesn't matter if we all are blacks. Those who wish us death should brace up for annihilation. |
TheSonOfMark:This is a one million dollar question. |
If you can't destroy the herdsmen then let them wipe the entire village out. I support that. No dialogue with marauders. |
DaBullIT:On this one I agree with you. I hate complains and too much talk. Leave buhari to do his thing and plan your own. |
eejo:Our Yoruba compatriots will say you're lying. When I say I pity them they think I just speak any how. Its Ok *in flavour's voice* |
thekingsmen:They will not understand. I pity those that are supporting buhari. My comments are not ignorantly typed. I'm well informed when I write. Those Christians who are supporting buhari will gnash there teeth when with their very eyes they will see those with whom they shouted 'sai buhari' coming to slash their throat. It will happen. We are watching. |
eleko1:Now we know our enemies as well as those who are not our friends. We just want to see the later join and their lands will be the theatre of war. |

citizenY:Ok. You mentioned Rwang Pam who was the Gbong Gwom before Dr. Fom Bot and he also was a Berom. Before him there was another named Da Dachung Gyang. He also was from Riyom. Actually Riyom happens to be where the traditional headquarters of the Beroms is. Like Warri like Jos if you understand what I mean. The present city of Jos is made up of Jos North(Anaguta, Berom and Afizere), Jos South(Berom), Jos East(Afizere) and Bassa(Irigwe et al) LGAs. There's no single hausa or fulani there. So where's the emir coming from? Now the mining activities which is the nucleus of the city leaned towards the Jos south side the which is the Berom side hence the reason why they've produced the traditional ruler of what Jos has become today. Mind you the present LGAs are a later creation by IBB for political reasons and the effect is what we're seeing today in Jos. Like the Beroms will greet, I say: ala lo me. |
kishimi8:Your lies will find you out. Your wickedness will consume you soon. I asked you for the first emirs that ruled Jos and you are telling me Ahmadu Bello installed Fom Bot. You know there was never any such thing as Emir in the history of the city. Even before Dr. Fom Bot there was another berom leader of Jos. Stop lying as you can never deceive any studious individual. The records are there and besides I know Plateau state and Jos in particular more than you. |
kishimi8:Can you give me the name of the emirs that ruled Jos before Ahmadu Bello gave the leadership to the Berom? You're such a liar. The history of Jos is well documented. You can never change it. Its such a pity that the plateau people have failed to study their enemies. What is happening presently is what happened before the Europeans came. These marauders took Bauchi, a sizable part of Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba by killing off the real owners of those areas. Its well documented. Plateau people only escaped because of the topography of their land. It was a big problem for the fulani calvary. They're back from where they stopped but now with government backing. Looking at the modus operandi of the attackers any experienced fighter will know that those killers are not just ordinary herdsmen. They are well trained and I can say some of them have military experience. This is what the middle belt people are up against. Except you take the bull by the horns you will soon be extinct. Good luck to your if you put up a resistance and RIP in advance if you're looking up to the fulani led government for succour. |
Majority will read few lines and then run away. They will say its too long. Others will after reading nod their heads in agreement but as soon as they spot any tribal tainted thread will head there straight and hence forget to articulate the message they just got. Its a big shame on Africans that till date we cannot feed our own populace talk more of building solid roads along the length and breadth of our respective countries. Its really a disgrace. |
Perhaps something was buried in the wall. How new is the particular wall in question? |
I see victims of genocide whose spirit daily cry out for vengeance. This vengeance they will get some day. Its only unfortunate that its majorly the children of those who murdered them that will pay for it. |
Ordinary rifle Nigerian military cannot produce on its yet they will brag that they are giant of Africa. What a shame. |
islandmoon:They won't take you seriously. Its like they all are under a spell. I can remember when the GOC Rukuba barracks Jos was caught on camera shooting on defenceless civilians in Plateau state; was he prosecuted? NO! No one dares. This is the story of Nigeria. Gowon can never talk about this neither will T.Y Danjuma say anything. Jeremiah Useni will suddenly go dumb and David Mark will need binoculars to see what is happening in their region. I use to have feelings for them but not anymore. If its Ok for all these old and well connected men its Ok for me too. OP sorry O! Fight for your life or wait until the sickle finds your stem. |
CSTR2:This is exactly what I'm talking about. Don't complain to any buhari, leave him to do his mind and chart your own course. In the fullness of time he and those cheering him up will shake their heads in regret. Kudos to the governors of the SE and SS especially Uduaghan who saw the potentials of the collaborations and the present delta state governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who keying into the vision. I've always talked about the leadership qualities of our Anioma people. They have a big role to play in great Igbo nation and biafra at large. |
From the article nothing really confirmed chief brimah as a Yoruba. The man is most likely a fulani. The date itself, his occupation and area of influence 'Zongo' and the people he presided over gave credence to this. We all the Ilorin story especially at that period. Today Hausas are considered indigenes of Ghana but not Yorubas: does that give you any clue? Again Islamic scholars of those days even here in Nigeria where majorly a hausa/fulani domain. Just stating what I know about the 19th century Nigeria. |
Buhari doing all he can to tarnish GEJ's legacy. If in doubt ask yourself what is buhari's motive for recalling them suddenly? |
