Anyone asking Southerners to fight themselves is not from the south. Isn't that obvious? Who stands to gain from such fights? The core north.
It's saddening that some Southerners fell for their first bait of 'isolation'. If not, by now we should be fighting side by side.

Iegendhero:
You guys always think I’m crazy.

Listen to this.

These guys were nabbed from when destroying things in Lagos and somehow they are all 98% non-Yoruba.

Both Igbo and SS included.

Now am I saying they are representing the Igbos? No, but when I talk I somehow know what I’m saying just that there is mob mentality on Nairaland where everyone shut you up if you give a different opinion from what they wanted.

To say again, most of the protesters and thugs hijacking the protest are actually Yorubas. But there are actually some other things that is not explanatory somehow somehow.

Check the comments, pressure is already building up and that was the reason why I was saying the Westerners need to calm down, retreat from protesting coz it’s a mixture of a lot of things and it’s more psychological.

When I said they should stop burning properties, Some people said I’m on Tinubu’s payroll, and they said the Youth should burn it all. What they forgot is that when they finish burning all Tinubu properties without nothing else to burn, they will turn back and start burning and looting other people properties which already started happening. Those celebs are hearing it now ask Yomi casual.

Ohaneze did well with that rebuttal of Kanu speech. What I expect is that statement should trend so as to sensitize everyone especially those guys with built in pressure.

But if I talk, you all claim I’m Fulani agent. Okay Continue to Dey looku.

When you started that thread, I wrote to you explaining clearly that no Igbo will wish to destroy Lagos just to spite Yorubas knowing fully well the enemies that lurk. You don't know the level of convincing it took to get some of us join the protest because we were trying to avoid this type of situation. Some of us spent sleepless night debunking the barrage of accusation from those blood suckers in the north because we knew them very well. Their tactics have always been dividing the targeted people so they can fight them piece by piece. We knew they'll do it because a United south is their Waterloo. They stood no chance. Unknowing to us, some of you have started to listen to their false allegations and distortion of facts started to surface. Both Igbos and Yorubas died at Lekki. We all saw when the government started using paid thugs to disrupt the protest. Who are these paid thugs? Did it matter what ethnic group they were? Protesters stood firm resisting them until the soldiers opened fire at Lekki which infuriated the protesters and they started attacking Tinubu's properties. Who doesn't know the connection between Tinubu and that toll gate? Does it mean that when destroying his properties, the Igbos in among the protesters shouldn't give a helping hand? Now, if some particular properties were off limits, what happens to telling the protesters attempting to burn them to desist from doing so without having to look into their ethnic origin? We all know how the spirit of destruction can be possessive such that people may attempt to 'overdo' it. This is when some members who are more rational can intervene with looking for avenues to fault such people. I believe those guys fall into such category. Like you rightly said, video evidences prove that most of those destructions was done by Yorubas as seen from the speeches in them. Why then will you start a thread aimed at accusing a formidable member of a coalition of ulterior motive in the heat of battle? Even if you suspect any foul play, why not just call for de-escalation first before rushing to subtly accuse your partners in the heat of battle? Do you know the level of demoralization you have done? I saw a lot of my posts fighting those vampires being deleted by moderators and I wondered why. A thought came to me that these moderators don't even trust my sincerity but I persisted hoping that after some 'gains' I could ask those questions directly. This is how it ought to be. Well I see it's not just you that entertained such thoughts. When key players in the Lekki massacre started distorting the truth, from no one was killed to the present two people died, I wondered when the truth will be admitted. For me, those who died at Lekki died in vain. The common enemy won that encounter. Amnesty International interviewed at least two witnesses of that shooting and gave a figure of 12 persons but the story was spinned into Igbos being the ones that blew the shooting out of proportion. If key players are scared to admit their findings but rather prefer to look for a scapegoat they will heap the blame on, then 'we' should be wise to know our boundaries. I thank God that Sanwo-Olu already sent photos of his hospital visitation of the wounded survivors of that attack before the story started to change. Today the enemies claim their was no shooting... It was a Photoshop. Since when did photoshop send people to the hospital? It's mind blowing how things degenerated to the level of such accusation. How can one be more eager to listen to the suggestions/allegations of his oppressor against his comrade? Chai.
Meanwhile, government properties are being vandalized too in the other parts of the south. We all thought the goal was to send a message to our criminal political office holders. With those discoveries in the Oba's palace, will you say he deserved that treatment? Those destructions were targeted at persons who the protesters felt had a hand in the shooting of which at the time the persons implicated were Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu and perhaps Oba Akiolu. How convenient did it become overnight to lay accusations on your supposed comrade in the struggle? What psychology is behind such a thought? Seriously, I'll like to know.

LegendHero:
Afenifere are crazy folks and this statement is too watery.

You need to be very hard on Buhari and the FG without foolishly trying to blame Sanwo-Olu and playing politics when we should all be Yoruba first!

See the above foolish statement, is it Sanwo-Olu that also invited soldiers that shot in Abuja the other time?

Obasanjo is more sensible than these Afenifere folks. He said in his video that Buhari is the “Commander in Chief of the Armed forces” and he cautioned against how he deployed the soldiers to Lagos.

The same Sanwo-Olu that already visited the injured people in the hospital or are Afenifere not current with recent happenings. They made this statement look like he is ignoring the event.

Afenifere is somehow against Yoruba interest, you guys are still playing politics with this when you should be appealing to the Youth to retreat from all these destructions and chaos.

Where is Are Ona Kakanfo self, they should start finding a way to control the youths by cooling their tempers before they start extending to Ogun and Oyo.

We already demonized all our leaders so no one is even bold enough to speak up against all this.
You're part of those who have created a crack in that solidarity they're talking about. Always bear it in mind.

Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Pan Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere has warned against attempts by some people to turn the current situation in Lagos into an ethnic and tribal war.

While commiserating with the victims of the shooting in Lekki and others who have lost their lives since the #EndSARS protests began, the group, in a statement by its leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti said it identified with young Nigerians who are demanding a better society.

While also calling on Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to apologise over the killings, the group also condemned President Muhammadu Buhari's silence over 48 hours after the incident.

The statement reads "Afenifere is in deep mourning over the Tuesday mindless massacre of peaceful innocent Protesters in Lekki by bloodsucking Nigerian solders.

The space where Muslims prayed on Friday and Christians on Sunday was turned to a bloody ground when the Nigerian state showed itsbeastiality".

"We mourn all the dead and commiserate with their families. We once again identify with the young ones in their just demands for a better society.Mr Babajide Sanwo-0lu, the Governor of Lagos has denied inviting soilders to Lagos, we need to know who deployed those killers through an international inquiry".

"It is also pathetic that the President has kept mute over the killings and has not deemed it necessary to visit the scene or commiserate with those who lost dear ones".

"We have also noticed the massive destruction of property in the city after the killings which security forces who were eager to kill innocent people have not been able to stop".

"We appeal for calm and a halt to destruction. We are not unawares of attempt to cause ethnic divisions over what is going on. WE should be careful not to play unto the hands of those who have exploited our peoples through divide and rule over the years".

The unity of the oppressed is key at the moment and our peoples are enjoined to avoid any action that could be misinterpreted as solidarity is required at this moment.

We demand the arrest and trial of all trigger-happy men who have caused sorrow, tears and blood.

We cannot end this without once again calling for the immediate  restructuring of Nigeria to avoid imminent collapse.

We call on the Governor of Lagos to show better humanity than the Federal Government  by apologizing over the killings to partly assuage feelings and show value for human lives.

Afenifere shall be at the forefront of seeking justice and will  not relent in making all sacrifices to make Nigeria a proper federal state that can guarrattee happiness for its people.

Southerners who gave the chance of division in our ranks have given them the confidence to lie so brazenly like this. Now those who died in Lekki died in vain. History will remember that we stood firmly with our 'brothers' but they preferred to listen to the lies of the notorious vampires. Despite Sanwo-Olu visiting the wounded in the hospital and openly commenting about it, today all proofs have been denied. Ok o.

This is really the last chance if some southerners choose to believe the false accusations of the common enemy. Who stands to gain from the division in the south? A tiny fulani population. In 1966, a was a combination of soldiers from different ethnicities that did the coup Major Ademoyega inclusive and even eminent UI scholar like Wole Soyinka congratulated them but what transpired later? The fall out of the south since then is put southerners in this disadvantageous position. Today, the youths from the south tired of the hopeless situation decided to stand up and take back their freedom but some are now listening to the advice of the common enemy that has been killing everyone. I wonder how you even entertained such a thought despite all the burnings happening in other parts of the south. I really wonder. If we miss this chance of unity, we will NEVER get it again. We must stand together till the end and get our freedom.

Why do they want him to resign? Buhari is certainly not available any more. No one can address the situation and they don't want Osinbajo to function in the capacity of the President so they want him to resign thereby pushing the mantle to the speaker of the House of Assembly.
