ma'am, i'm in the same shoes as cambercharles. Please humbly explain all these steps because I was denied last year when I tried to start from the scratch because my CGPA is 2.1 / 4. I'm ready to step up academically. The failure of a man is not the end of his life. Sucess is yours.

ma'am please humbly explain it to my understanding. I wanted to start afresh but I would not mind reducing the time spent on the same degree.
Thanks! Seems like my last post confuses you. Please eliminate the word post-bacc, okay? Post-undergraduate/post-bacc/pre-grad would not get you a student's visa. Let's stick with the phrase "second-degree bachelors". I don't know how many schools offer this option for your degree, that's your homework, but one thing is that you're NOT going to get a lot of info about it if you don't communicate with Grad Advisors. While researching last year, I found lots of schools that offer this option ... its your homework again. If you can't get this option at the College of Engineering, select option 1 or 2. This is not to discourage you, but I refuse to believe that 2.1 GPA would get you into grad school not even to the Col. of Foreign Languages (I may be wrong). A good GRE may not overcome a poor undergrad GPA and a short, undistinguished resume unless all other factors are on point. (Sorry, from a Realist, though they say with God all things are possible. Keep trying ... Write the GRE and apply for BS/MS at the same time. ![]() |
imperiouxx: Unless you want me to be your home tutor.Imperiouxx: You know I'm so HAPPY with you tonight! You always deliver! ((hugs)) |
Hey cfola, I'm new to Project Management and would like to advance professionally in this field adding to my experience. I already manage small projects, and also taking a class on 'Leadership and Team Building" this semester. BUT I'm in dire need of tutoring with MS Project and Primavera 6. Can you recommend self-help tutorials/books or offer online private tutorials?? I'm struggling! **I already purchased 'MS Project - The Missing Manual 2010 Ed." |
We went to a Nigerian restaurant to watch the game and it was crazaaay!! Packed with Nigerians jubilating! |
Great read! Since last year, we've been contemplating on tithing at Church ever since I heard stories about flamboyant Pastors and private jets. I had lengthy discussions with my family about this issue and I may have to start giving my tithes to Christian charity organizations. Yea, I could offer whatever my spirit leads me to give on a Sunday morning to support the Church. Sometimes, we get scared of doing the wrong things, but let the Holy Spirit guide us. Showing love and compassion for someone's need, shows respect for Gods creation. I get tired of hearing money, money, money at Church every time. |
Evelyn06: Are int'l students actually admitted to the 'post-bacc' optionThanks! You're right that most Post-bacc/Pre-Grad options are non-degree seeking, but some schools have the option of "Post-bacc degree seeking" or "Second-degree bachelors". Post-bacc and Second-degree bachelors is the same thing with different names. For visa purposes, schools would ask prospective students to select the Second-degree option. I know a lady with BS. Econ from Nigeria and got accepted into UHV for Second-degree BS Nursing, although they made her take science pre-requisites so it took longer (about 18months...not so sure) |
cambercharles: Hi everyone, I graduated with a CGPA of 2.3 out of 4. Most of the schools I've bin checking out require a mininmum of 3.0 or at the very least, 2.7 out of 4. I'm very troubled and bothered right now, Please, what do you guys advice I do? Does anyone know any school that can admit me with my CGPA?Your options: 1. Start all over - 4 years 2. Transfer credits for a new bachelors - 2years 3. Second-degree bachelors - 1 year/16months 4. Second-degree bachelors -> Masters program - 33 months Got exams throughout next week... Need to get OFF this site ....If you see me on here, chase me away!!!Argghhhh!! ![]() EDITED. |
The lace wig needs to go! Your hair is not made of gold ![]() I think she'll look better with black hair or brown hair with gold highlights. |

SMDH You're already a dead-man walking! Its obvious that nothing is going on in your life! Village boy! Your village-minded father didn't allow your village-minded mother to have a mind of her own right? Its easy to know the kind of family you are raised in. If i didn't think that a man is the head of the fam, would I mention leadership skills and sheep-keeper? ... you dumbskull! A boy like you will never listen to your wife. GTFOH! ... because you've got peanuts in your pocket to pay for internet service. |
