Fake story

The addiction can be removed. You just need a better ”addiction”….you remove the addiction by focusing on something else . A perfect example is praying. Anytime you feel the urge,you start praying. You listen to alot of faith lifting messages too.

You find yourself a support group to hold you through….you begin to develop a close relationship with God,He will remove the will and urge completely.

Once you are able to complete the above,which will take some time,you my dear,can live a happy normal life free of addiction.

I dont know why women are so gullible. Why some women will never listen to their husband is the reason that they will meet their downfall. My wife of seven years has just betrayed me and I dont know if I can ever forgive her.

Last October,a new neighbor moved into our yard. It now happened that the neighbor's wife is from the same area with my wife from Cross River. So they became friends. Before you know it,my wife was always going to their house. I am a business man,I am hardly at home,I leave around 5.30am to beat the Apapa traffic everyday so I dont know how long my wife stays with them cos she just has a petty shop in front where she is selling recharge card and other things. 

But I started becoming uncomfortable with this when my wife started telling me so many private things about this couple. She used to tell me that the woman always gist her how the man handles her sexually. That she wishes I used to handle her like that. I told her she should not believe everything the woman is telling her. But every day,my wife will just be telling me stories about our neighbor and their sex life. She started complaining that I am not willing to cooperate with her to try some of the sex tips she is getting from this our neighbor. At a point,I started to warn her not to go there anymore. I told her to focus on her business and taking care of the children.

After a while,I stopped hearing her tell me about our neighbor,I thought she has finally gotten her senses,so I was happy. A few months ago I began having near constant migraines. As someone who had never suffered from headaches or migraines before I was initially taken aback. As the days went on and the pain continued, my thoughts grew anxious, and I became frightened of the “what ifs.”

What if something is really wrong?

What if I have brain cancer?

What if I am dying?

I tried to control these thoughts, but it was difficult, at times impossible. I was scared and scared to admit just how truly scared I was. My fears felt irrational, and yet they were very real to me. At times I felt crazy, and I worried that sharing with someone else exactly what I was thinking would lead them to the same conclusion.

So I didn’t tell anyone the thoughts and fears my migraines triggered in me, not even my husband. In addition to feeling foolish for my thoughts, I also believed I should be strong enough to deal with my health on my own. I didn’t want to be perceived as weak, but it was exactly how I felt.

After nearly a week of migraines my anxiety bubbled over, and I ended up in the urgent care center with chest pain and trouble breathing. After several hours and multiple tests the doctors sent me home with a clean bill of health and the diagnosis of anxiety.

I could no longer hide how fearful I was of the migraines and finally said the words, “I am scared” to my husband.

My husband was kind and gentle, knowing from his own health scares how truly frightening it is to not be well. He didn’t dismiss my anxious thoughts; he affirmed me. He helped me see how unlikely the “what ifs” were and encouraged me to take some next steps necessary to meet with specialists who could begin to help me.

Sharing my fears had the exact opposite effect I expected. I didn’t feel more frightened but less. And I felt stronger, not weaker.

Being vulnerable with my husband about how I am really feeling has become a source of strength for me. When my thoughts grow out of control I can rely on him to remind me of what is true about my health. When my migraines are particularly bad I don’t have to push through and pretend to be OK, which actually only makes them worse.

By being open with my husband about my thoughts and fears, I no longer have to face them alone.

Good Morning ma,

I have only been married for seven months and I think I realize now that I have made a mistake in getting married to Chidi. I am thinking of a temporary separation in order for us to decide if this marriage will work out or not.

To be fair to my husband,he is trying but it seems our marriage is not meant to be. In Africa,men choose their wives first before their mother,maybe because they feel they have known the mother longer than the wife.

Chidi's mother hates me and is doing everything to ensure I do not enjoy my marriage to her son. Good Morning Admin,

Thank you for sharing my story on your blog yesterday. I actually took some of the advice I got and I had a discussion with my dad yesterday. I called him and told him to meet me at my place last night. He came around 9pm. I told him I had decided to tell Mom about his infidelity with Aunty Nancy and that I wanted him to have the opportunity to do it himself or I will.

My dad got very angry and started shouting at me. He said I dont know how much he has sacrificed for my mom and us. That he was not the one with fertility issues. That my mom had lived a bad life before marriage. Had so many abortions and in marriage had problems with her womb so she couldnt get pregnant. That he didnt judge her but she deprived him of having his own biological children. He said he didnt plan to sleep with Aunty Nancy but at the time,my mom was more focused on her career than him and he was very lonely.

According to him,he has placed everybody's happiness first before his for many years and that he will not do that anymore. He said if I went ahead to tell mom,he would disinherit me and that there is no way he would let me marry Maya because he raised me as his son and even though I am adopted,he cannot see two siblings marry. We had a very heated argument. I told him to hell with his inheritance
