debeey87: Na Wigwe de fear me pass. Man can decide to pay 1.20 naira like he did last year. Imagine every other bank increased interim dividend but they still maintained their 0.30k. With the series of acquisitions, I think it's safe to play out that way as a company for a while. |

OakPearl: A WORD OF CAUTION/ADVISE ⚠️
Most quoted banks especially tier 2 and 3 banks are taking full advantage of the current bull market to push their share prices high enough for raising cheap/easy capital in the coming round of CBN’s planned bank recapitalization.
Take your short term profits from the weak banks and stock with the FUGAZ of this world who have the capacity to sustain EPS and dividend per share after recapitalization.
Experience from previous recapitalization exercises still reminds me of how a lot of banks saw their share prices collapse after the whole euphoria of raising capital because their earnings and dividends could not justify their high valuation prices post recapitalization. Likewise, stronger banks and companies have emerged from rights issue and public offers to be more valuable and appreciated even more in price based on their continued strong financial performance and sustained or even improved dividend payout post offers.
Water will find its level after this coming round of recapitalization especially with those banks who can’t pay out reasonable dividends due to their over bloated OS arising from the recapitalization.
Enjoy the ride, rebalance your portfolio accordingly as we continue to watch money grow like grass in our respective portfolios. Always rob Peter and pay Paulo |

Agbalowomeri: My prediction is that we will rapidly attain that in January and thereafter a very long bearish market Should Dangote Refinery, NNPCL and some other companies start listing quarterly on NGX, would you still consider a bear stance post Q4 results? The other day I looked at the South African Market size and my Oh my! That's a long gap from Nigeria. Whatever that will cause severe pull is yet to be revealed. Besides, someone already talked about the Elliott waves from a TA standpoint. But still, be on the look out. |

ositadima1: Is the banking system the primary factor responsible for our current economic challenges? Can a mere adjustment in monetary policies be enough to reverse our fortunes this time? Clearly not. A major pain point is food. If the ongoing fg-spearheaded dry season farming is anything to go bye coupled with the first release of product from the refineries, those inflation figures drops in about 6months. |
