Effects of Bonds and TB. We might get more depending on the outcome of the MPC meeting next week.

Let the dollar and naira do its thing(the outcome is sad due to the malevolent individuals that heads the affairs), but you just made 10baggers for days such as these. Find opportunities that are present and will always be. Though not immediate(except lucky), but everything will work out fine once the minimum wage kicks in. It's just a reset. How quick we turn the tides rest on these not-so-benevolent leaders.

*Just thinking*

Who is looking for dollar to import what exactly at these ever increasing custom rates and for who to buy?

Clearly everyone is just converting their savings(if they have any) into dollarhuh

When all these assets should be going into the stock market for export-exposed coys and utilities(expecting subsidy removal).

Yet again, you can't blame the average Nigerian for refusing to trust the government when the latter has consistently failed to lead.

My dollar assets are doing well likewise my naira assets. I will not be switching currency lanes.

Its now a game of trust- the government has to win that.

Does it really make any sense converting dollars to invest in stocks at this rate?
It's a trick question.

I'll rather join a registered cooperative. Some of them loan members X3 of amount saved at 5% to 8% rate but you must have joined 6 months prior to taking loan.

Yes, bank loan is easier but paying so much in interest can hinder generating wealth and gives almost no room for trial and error. Some people are good at OPM like Robert Kiyosaki, Pa Emma etc.
Nice structure.
Pa Emma has been mentoring us well even though we run rouge sometimes grin.

But then again my risk to reward was almost insignificant.

Borrow what you can pay if things go south. I got a sum with 18% interest rate from GTB spread at 12months, 2022 November into the market. I am happy today!

The Aircraft has a terrible history of air mishaps.
They really need to look into the safety measures on this chopper. I thought the seats where designed to be crash-proof in a way. One of the flaws pointed out with this chopper is its non-protective fuel tanks-

Generally, choppers are safer to fly with unlike what has been portrayed by some here. Its cabin are mostly built like a protective cage to give support on impact. It's the leaking fuel after that impact that is of worry.
And this is no cheap chopper to hire and proper for an A-list.

pretty much stating what imto and other allied firms have been doing since jonathan era. Freelancers/ gig workers/remote workers can testify to this. The conversion rate is still the main thing, if it works for you, you use the IMTO service or you look for another one. This does not equate to holding $30 billion in domicilliary account hostage. Thanks for the info though. I sit to be corrected if my comprehension skill is subpar.
As regards to domiciliary account and going by tjose guidelines, I think you'd not be paid in dollar, but its naira equivalence upon request to withdraw. The no-out-bound flow can also be likened to holding the dorm accounts hostage. My question now is are the dollar denominated debit/credit cards issued by local banks still working??

Hold on, let me understand this. You are saying you will receive more than 47.4% of your original investment annually for the next 11 years? What about those who insist that converting to dollars is the only way to protect against the falling naira? I don't think dollar investments and Eurobonds can beat that return, and the best part is that it is passive income. If you had started with 20 million naira, then you are guaranteed 10 million naira every year. That is truly commendable, I must say.
To the dollar folks, I'd say, there are more than one way to increase your naira output. Just like Bishop Oyedepo once said(w/o sounding religious), "If they say naira is devalued, simply means you have to get more naira to run your affairs"

I am not a member of the management or professional advisers to the transaction, so I can't give a specific time frame.

But I think by the end of this quarter we should be able to have an idea.

It also depends on your average cost price, someone who average cost price is less than N20 is different from someone whose average cost price is N70.

I sold half of my holdings at a profit of over 200% based on my average cost price buy a FGN bond at 15.8% yield which will pay coupons in March and September for the next 11 years
Nice!!!

See this Transcorp bid... wink grin
Normal stuff from folks who bought at 1 and sold 80% at 19 to buy back at probably 7(the small bags here need to prove their mettle at circa 10) else it's 5.
Likes of Tony and Wife probably has at 2(Spot for major bags) .

NSEMPAs can only enjoy the show. Never get caught in-between.

Single digit works for me though.

Transcorp EPS grew by 195%. It has a return on equity of about 19% which is quite good.

I expect between 60% to 100% earning growth in 2024 for Transcorp.

Based on the current price of the stock at recently released EPS of 56k. Transcorp has a PE of 26.

Transcorp is still very good to accumulate for the long term and N11 and below
