BullBearMkt:This headline weak me I no go lie. On "cost-basis" I doubt that. We just don't produce enough. We are yet to meet our OPEC quota. We struggle with that. I wonder if NNPCL can even meet-up with their 300Mbbl/day as 20% equity stake. We have spread thin towards resource-back loans especially with crude oil. This country ehn!!! |
KarlTom:Certainly |
TotoNaRubber: Zagee:My argument was for "holding the naira oh!!" |
ositadima1:I never considered this metric, I guess the gut feeling has been demystified. I can imagine the revenue when people get extra money to spend. That fish biscuit mehn.. It just fell off in taste too. . |
TotoNaRubber:"My hypothetical 50m" is worth minimum 500m today since 2020. I gained N450m today and counting. ![]() End this dollar/naira battle |
SetrakusRa:Numbers, numbers. I have noticed that these FMCGs are having more revenue than associated with the "brokeness" on the street. Abi everyone spent everything on food?? Developing impressive results looking at Q on Q. I wonder what they'll do with honeywell flour(though not an amazing result) but looking to ride it(TA-wise) and gut feeling throughout q1. 10% down already. Market will justify every result. Lookout! ![]() |
Let the numbers talk from now on. ![]() I greet you all! |
BullBearMkt:Today marks a 100, but with red ![]() |
Choiceguy:In all honesty, how low can the brewery sector go? What can be worst than the Buhari's stance against the sector? Anything other than this, you're telling them to pack-up and pay-off shareholders o. Revised minimum wage is coming. We need to drink beer and buy food items oh! |
rmx:I hope you know if the farms get protection, especially if the FG decides to guard Niger state n Benue as strategic assets due to their arable land mass and productivity, you know this talk will change? |
There's no way Dangote's refinery will sell only to the Nigerian Market. When he starts shipping to neighbouring countries it'll definitely be priced in USD, that's one source of dollar inflow. You can hedge in dollars first thing by 8am, but you can equally afford to stick to some naira for appreciation. Stability in supply of jet fuel brings stability in foreign trips logistics, hence more dollar inflow. I expect the naira to appreciate(maybe no to 650) as Tax boss as hinted by the end if tge year, especially if they removed that custom bottlenecks on import/export business. Don't bet against the naira. Except Bulaba is incapacitated! |
yMcy56:Hahaha. I come in peace oh! Let us know who cannot survive again oh!! ![]() |
BenNigeria:Well, reachout to customer care for a start. |
chibaby1985:The person that is done holding 🤷♂️ |
Honey well breaks ceiling at circa 4, 2 weeks ago, but no much volume to support. Still riding the first montly breakout candle, 3rd on the weekly. 👀 |
ojeysky:Wale that should have allowed us do 1000% in peace ![]() |
yMcy56:If banks are to recapitalize to fund the "new economy", what about the insurance? ![]() |
femu:What's there to write with a Bubu administration?? |
"One thing is clear: the ability to make more Naira in Nigeria has never diminished for years because there are opportunities. The issue is making the Naira under a stable currency. That way, if you are importing funds into Nigeria, you can win as shares of companies accelerate. For one thing: this shows how rigged the Nigerian economy is. For all the pains people are going through, the fortunate few like most of us here are still logging a 45% increase in the stock market, with 20% on average over the last 5 years. ............. Analyzing further, Nigeria has about 25 real companies in the stock exchange, as the top 25 combine for most of the value. But one thing is constant: do not bet against Nigeria!" @ndekekwe COPIED!!! GOODMORNING PEOPLE OF NSEMPA Happy trading week...!! |
Reasonable Consumer goods(especially stocks yet to catch the bull) are somewhat of a defensive stock in this era of unknown. Transcorp holdings should be down to 40% while you stash that loot in fixed income while waiting for pull-back or crash to launch some dangerous counter attack .If it retreats you keep buying more . Some Spare change to follow dangote. At this point investor moves... ![]() |
megawealth01:It gets better. This now looks like a "you must collect energy, DISCOs, we no go gree" ![]() https://businessday.ng/energy/article/discos-to-now-buy-electricity-directly-from-producers/ |
megawealth01:They say they want $1trillion economy, so therefore, power sector must be efficient. MOFI has already taken over of FG stake in DISCOs. It is not business as usual. More Disco boards will be dissolved if they don't sit up. |
Just for stats: "Investors on the NGX made N11 trillion last year. Investors in 🇳🇬 stock market made N10 trillion this month" COPIED |
Mpeace:Interesting. |
yMcy56:Shocked we're still not doing 5b ![]() |
megawealth01:Was not stated Sir https://nairametrics.com/2024/01/18/gsk-gets-sec-approval-for-scheme-of-arrangement-to-delist-from-ngx/ But why wait for them to pay when you could have just sold off at 17? Anything I'm missing? |
GSK finally gets approval form SEC |
Harvestock01:One cannot have these kind of potential investors and still be stupid. One thing I know, bulaba operates an efficient private sector space. They are here, obviously to test their hypothesis. ![]() Structural changes is happening and will happen. |
BLACKROCK IS IN NIGERIA!!!! Media is awashed with too many positive economic news and photo ops. More money incoming!!! |
Uncle T we are still waiting on the outcome of the board meeting, but please can you still hold it and allow this your stock to grow organically! Doing that will give you more money to scale other businesses o. Infact, just leave transcorp like this for the next two years, you and know that the numbers will speak for itself oh! ![]() Talking about numbers: Energy sold as at q3 results: G ~13b T ~ 63b Selah! Drops 🎤 |
This is not time to quarrel. It is time to make money. A season for all... just wait ![]() |
